We worked together to develop short and long term goals and created strategies to achieve them. For example, I was seeking out ways to be more mindful and aware of how I'm feeling in various situations throughout the day. It was important to me to be more present in my personal relationships and a more effective leader at work. Bobbi and I worked together to create measurable objectives that set me on the right course for a mindful life. Her technique also allows for plenty of forgiveness when you need to make a detour or two along the way :) The supportive coaching provided through Whole Fit Being's methods allowed me to feel success at each small accomplishment while working towards my long term life goals.

We set manageable goals that moved me forward - I stopped eating all the sugar I was consuming to stave off the sadness, and I started taking steps in my business that I had been avoiding. It was amazing and I immediately felt better about every aspect of my life. I also made some big changes with my business, which I had been avoiding. But working with Bobbie as a coach made me feel safe to start the baby steps necessary to get to my business goals. Bobbi has a warmth but also an authority that made me feel safe and in experienced hands. There was no judgement from her as I revealed myself. She guided the sessions like a pro and I would comment after each one how insightful she was. I highly recommend Bobbi if you are struggling with weight, food, exercise, health, career and personal challenges. I guess that means I recommend her for any improvements you want to make in your life! I truly cannot say enough about how terrific she is as a health coach. You won't find anyone better.

To say I'm disappointed with this organization would be an understatement as I'm deeply outraged by…read morethe horrendous and racist experience that my child endured. Over the summer, I sent my son to this Dancer's workshop camp to have a fun and wonderful experience, however, I soon realized that things weren't right as my son began to tell me about the disturbing way that his instructors treated him. At home and even at school, I strongly push my children to learn and speak Spanish alongside English, but after I sent my child for a few days to this camp, I noticed that my son didn't feel comfortable speaking Spanish anymore. At first, when I tried asking my son what happened, he wouldn't tell me, so I decided to wait until he felt more comfortable. Finally, when my son told me what was bothering him at camp, I found out that he was continuously being punished and shamed in front of his class for speaking Spanish. It is difficult for me to even begin to describe how outraged I felt when I realized what my son was enduring daily and the negative effect that it was having on him. According to my son, his instructor, whose name is Karen , at one point dared to tell him, "you're not Mexican, you're American". This is beyond unprofessional and borderline discriminatory, and I'm appalled by the fact that an establishment such as the center for the arts could allow for such behavior to occur without any reprimand. While I wish that I could say that this was the only terrible experience during this camp, unfortunately, it isn't. During pickup time on a particular day, I saw first-hand how little care the director and instructors have for children's safety. On one occasion, when I went to pick up my son, I was informed that my son's instructors carelessly allowed him to walk home by himself without even giving us a phone call. As a parent leaving my child's safety in the hands of the instructors at this camp, I expect that they make sure that children properly go to the correct people, yet this is an area that they don't give much attention to, which is deeply concerning. I almost had to threaten to get the police involved for the staff to take their job seriously and find my child, who was walking on the busy streets by himself, and worse of all, the instructor who found him then tried to shift the blame onto my child, instead of taking responsibility for their negligence. Ultimately, I speak out from a place of frustration, disappointment, and, most importantly, as a parent while writing about the atrocious experience that my child went through during their time at this camp, and I hope that by sharing this information I can help other parents from making the mistake of sending their children to an establishment that has unprofessional staff who are incompetent, negligent, and discriminatory. As I finish writing this review I think that it is a disgrace how one of the only establishments dedicated to the arts in the town of Jackson Hole could have such serious flaws in the way that staff care for and treat children, and I can confidently say that I'll never send my child here again.

Is toooooo cold Cold workouts…read more In the cold, your body is hotter than the surrounding environment and can easily get rid of the heat produced in the muscles during exercise. This stops the temperature of the body from increasing during prolonged exercise and performance in your cardio session will usually be better on cold days. Researchers from the University of Aberdeen found endurance to be best at around 10C (compared with 4C, 21C and 31C). When it is really cold, the heat produced by your muscles is not enough to maintain a core temperature at 37C. The body has ways to cope with extreme cold environments, such as shivering. Shivering is essentially muscles contracting to produce heat, not movement. As with any muscle contraction, shivering requires energy and burns calories, so at rest you may burn more calories in the cold than in normal temperatures. Another strategy to cope with cold is to use fat to produce heat. Researchers in the US have shown repeated workouts in the cold increases the amount of brown fat in your body. Brown fat is known as "good fat" as it burns calories. Both shivering and burning fat consume calories, and studios that hold workout classes at 7C have begun to appear, with the idea that they can help people lose weight. Researchers from Spain found that exposure to a progressively cold environment can increase energy expenditure by up to 30%, which corresponds to around 500 calories for 24 hours of cold exposure. This means exposure to cold can help you lose weight faster, but the effect would be small for a one-hour workout in the cold. And feeling cold is unpleasant. If you want to increase your muscle strength, doing workouts in the cold probably won't help. Muscles work best at hot temperatures. When muscles get cold, the force they can produce decreases. You are also more likely to get injured in the cold, but the extra risk of injury is reduced if you warm up properly
