I left two messages and I waited and waited. So I decided to contact the mobile pet groomers who are more expensive but reliable and they return phone calls!!! So if you are considering using their services here is my advice. Run like your the last two monkeys boarding Noah's Ark and it's starting to rain! No no no!!! That's a hard no from me! Enter at your own risk ! You've been warned!

While I will give this place a 5 for dog training they deserve a 2 for dog daycare. After speaking…read moreto animal behaviorist (2 to be exact) after being told my dog has a high prey drive (what 8 month old lab doesn't) to find out my 60 pound dog should never have been allowed to be with smaller dogs. Not just the prey drive but larger dogs play rougher then smaller dogs. They can be stepped on etc. After interviewing different dog daycares I have found out that for most if not all have cams to check in through out the day. Also if there is an issue with your pup there is video evidence. I had nothing except for their word and honestly I feel my pups wasn't wanted they just wanted my money. The training was top notch and worth the money. I do have the best puppy ever and can take her to many places. She now has manners. But I do not recommend for day care. Lesson learned.

I have a very special little dog who…read moreneeds a lot of training and attention to help overcome her behavioral challenges and they not only understood what to do immediately, we've been making steady progress since we first met everyone. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. The classes are incredibly valuable too. The results speak for themselves.

She had plenty of tips and techniques and it was nice having her visit the home for the sessions to see how he is in that environment. After several mixed purpose sessions I feel like we're on the path to success, maybe. We hope .

Tamara truly loves dogs and is extremely knowledgeable about how to take care of dogs. We just added a second dog, a rescue, to our family and Tamara came over to meet her and spent time talking with us about her needs and how pets-Chicago can help us. With pets-Chicago, you know there will always be someone to walk your dog, no matter what. They now have a system that emails you with walk details and the route after walks.

We have worked with trainers to manage his reactivity, and he has improved so much with us - but he absolutely would not let anyone else come near him to put a leash on and walk him. We couldn't figure out what to do with him while we worked because no one could really get near him. We tried 4 other walkers over 5 months and I truly lost all hope - he HATED them all. I reached out to my trainer in desperation, who recommend Tamara. Even after explaining my dogs behaviors and failed walkers, she was still willing to take on the challenge. She came over to meet Reese and just sat on the floor with a million treats until he was comfortable. She then did this for every day he needed a walk until he was comfortable. She has been walking Reese for about 8 months and sometimes he even still has a freak out on her when he has off days. She never gives up on him, she is always patient with him and she even brings other dogs with her to socialize him on walks. Not to mention she has learned his triggers outside and avoids them or manages Reese's behaviors on walks. I do not know what we would do without her. I never would have imagined that Reese and her could be besties now - she even came to his birthday party. If you have a reactive dog, I would not trust anyone else walking them besides Tamara.

The training sessions were very generic and we did not feel like any progress was being made with our dog. We did not reach out for further sessions after the first few but circled back after a few months hoping for a different experience. After booking an appointment we were notified that the only trainer for this company in our area was leaving the business. Now we have spent $2,000 for a lifetime trainer that we can no longer use. We have reached out to corporate for assistance but no one will respond to us. Overall I would not recommend this company unless you are looking for basic training. I do not think all behavioralist trainers are created equal and this company is not providing a true behaviorist trainer. Certifications don't necessarily translate to quality. Couple that with poor customer service and you have what appears to be a money grab from customers that are genuinely looking for help in a time of need.

Vicky has opened our eyes to the reasons why he acts the way he does and showed us the techniques to use to correct him. We look forward to having Vicky come over and so does Mac. We thought he was just going to be one of those dogs that never learns, but Vicky has changed that forever. If your looking for a great trainer, someone with patience, someone who loves their job, and just an overall great person you have to hire Vicky! We love Mac even more now than we did before because of the good boy he turned out to be and we owe it all to her.
