When I picked her up this week, she seemed very happy, put her head on Alexa's arm, and came home looking fit.

Sabrielle and her staff truly understand and care about dogs. I have a very special little dog who…read moreneeds a lot of training and attention to help overcome her behavioral challenges and they not only understood what to do immediately, we've been making steady progress since we first met everyone. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. The classes are incredibly valuable too. The results speak for themselves.

We've only ever rescued older herding dogs, so we decided to get a 10-11mo…read more.. Sabrielle helped us greatly in the process giving us tools to tame the little maniac. She had plenty of tips and techniques and it was nice having her visit the home for the sessions to see how he is in that environment. After several mixed purpose sessions I feel like we're on the path to success, maybe. We hope .

Requiring Simple & Necessary Dog Vaccines for the safety and overall health of ALL visitors to…read morefacility. Nothing over the top, just simple ones. Some Boarders require more than this facility. It's a large inside Boarding and Day Camp facility, located in Oak Park on the North East corner of Lyman & Roosevelt Rd. Plenty of free street parking , make sure to read the signs. Camp Theme, log cabin style, super cute! Nice design and logo! Day Care is $37 for more than 6hrs, and $24 for less than 6hrs of care. It's $55 for boarding and an Extra $7 added for PEAK Times; holiday times. For multiple dogs that can sleep together, there is a discount. There is a noise restriction in Oak Park, so there is no outside play ground at this facility. This group "Camp Bow Wow" does have several locations. They do have 2 large indoor yards for Big Dogs & 1 yard for Smaller Dogs. A deposit is Required for Boarding, so make sure to ask all the necessary questions. They do have maximum capacities, and were very busy when I stopped in. Brianna was very pleasant and helpful. They have folders available with the Daily Schedule for Camp. Located in a busy area, just East of the Dollar Tree, Pete's & Lucky Dogs for fast food. Walgreens just West. Plenty of Gas stations nearby , as well as Dispensary just a block East.

I think this is a good kennel and my dog enjoyed it, but we can't go back now because they require…read moremore vaccinations than our veterinarian recommends. How can that be? They want an influenza vaccination, but my dog gets sick with her vaccinations and that one is not required by anyone else. I'm not going to risk her getting sick. I also couldn't take her to this kennel when she was less than a year old, because they required her to be spayed before the doctor recommended it. The doctor wanted her to wait until she had her first cycle, but this location required it even before that. I appreciate that they care about the health of the dogs, but I don't know how they can require things that go against the veterinarians recommendation. Very disappointing- we would like to be regular clients.

Our dog Hulk has been suffering with allergies for about a year. We consulted a couple…read moreveterinarians and they just gave us pills and ear drops which did nothing. Dr. Zalar was very thorough: she tested his skin, took his blood which no one else had done. She started him on medication and specialized shampoo and mousse. We are excited to finally see some results. We highly recommend Dr. Zalar

I took my dog to this vet clinic because he was limping. The clinic is close to my home and it was…read morethe first time that I took my dog there. Dr Gauthier saw him and prescribed painkiller/anti-inflammatory tablets for a probable wrist sprain. I also asked how to determine whether redness on my dog's belly was caused by a bacterial infection or was a rash due to food allergy. The answer was vague. Overall the experience was neither overwhelming nor underwhelming. However, after I read the Clinical Summary at home, I was really upset. The summary reported the results of several tests that were NOT performed. The doctor did NOT even have a stethoscope; how could she perform the tests? From where did she take the results? The tests - WITHOUT a STETHOSCOPE and WITHOUT PALPATION - and the findings (copied and pasted) were: 1 - Cardiovascular: Heart rate and rhythm normal; no murmur auscultated; strong and synchronous femoral pulses; CRT less than 2 sec. 2 - Respiratory: Respiratory rate and effort normal; lung sounds clear bilaterally; no irritation or cough elicited on tracheal palpation; no nasal discharge. 3 - Abdomen: Soft on abdominal palpation and did not reveal any obvious structural abnormalities or elicit pain. 4 - Urogenital: External genitalia appears normal; bladder palpates normally. 5 - Integument: Healthy skin and hair coat in good condition; no ectoparasites identified, significant lesions or abnormalities. 6 - Peripheral Lymph Nodes: Palpate normally. How did she know that WITHOUT a STETHOSCOPE and WITHOUT PALPATION? How can a doctor make up tests that were never performed and give invented results to the patient? What if my dog had early signs of a lymphoma, or a heart murmur, or any other still undiagnosed problem that could have been detected with a stethoscope or by palpation? I would not take seriously such signs because the disease had been ruled out by these invented tests. Bottom line: Would I trust the doctors of this clinic and the tests carried out in this clinic? Definitively NO
