I am so happy to share my awesome experience with sunrise Event center, We started planning our party for a quinceañera for my beautiful daughter since September 2024, customer service was great since our first meeting , our first impression was so special, the owner's assistant treated us with respect, gave us our time to explain the different options for the venue, we met with the assistant twice, next meeting to discuss and sign contract was with Yasemeen the owner, she is a very sweet lady, very attentive and very patience when it comes to listen to concerns and to request suggestions, the owner did such a great job from start to the end, along the way until the day of the big day she was very helpful and always willing to help if we needed something else. The day of the event everything was excellent, exceptional food, excellent customer service by the girls helping in front checking the tables and refilling waters and cleaning tables, decoration left us speechless because it was gorgeous, my wife and my daughter loved it, all the guests loved it , we got lots of complements by our guests the day of the event and after the event, they made great comenta about the food, the service, the cleanliness the f the place and of course the exceptional decoration and the atmosphere of the place , everybody loved it, and of course we are so happy with over all of the service and the attention we got from Yasemeen, I'd like you to know that everyone did a great job, all of your people treated us so well, also want to mention that your assistant Naser was very effective, he did a great job on everything too, long story short, we él had a great experience with your place, so I invite whoever is planning a quinceañera, a wedding or other type of event to come see Yasemeen to plan and help you with your party, don't let me forget to mentioned that prices are affordable and very competitive, everything was great. We had a wedding party on Dec 19th here in this hall, everything was over expectation/amazing, such as customer service, food, supporting stuff and coordination. the management sides (Yasmin and Nasir) were so supportive in every parts of the events. even at the end they offered us to take home the remaining food which was amazing! I recently hosted my daughter's quinceañera at this venue and it was amazing! This is a full service event center so you don't have to worry about fussing with various vendors, catering, decorating, etc. They have it all!! The decorations are elegant and really make the venue look special for your event. The food was soo tasty which is not expected for large events. The staff are friendly and flexible. I don't leave bad reviews for all business but this place was super nice. Yasmin the owner of sunrise Event center and Banquet Hall was super nice. Also, Nilab & Nasir Jan who is her worker was a hero. Overall, everyone was super cool until the day I married came in June 6 . On the due date of my marriage, there were two bodied Mexican persons male & female who were too rude who when we asked a couple of question, they stated having a bad attitude with my guests and family members. The ordeal made me alittle bit dissapointed. However, they continued being rude even after tipping them 150$ in the end. Ideally, there were some positives as well as the Hall decorated by Nasir Jan was Super nice clean which I really appreciated Special Gift for Him later. He was super nice before, during and even towards the end of the event give me excellent attitude. I can say the organizers did some super cool job in the whole event. Howerever, they need to change a little bit about the 2 workers, a man and a lady both of Mexican origin. Other than two workers, the place is super cool and provides the best experience for parties, functions and any event. I would leave all the five stars because of Nasir Jan and the other owner who made me happy and I would really recommend anyone else who would like to celebrate their wedding party anniversary. I would really like to appreciate the organisers and the facilitators for their best services provided. Zainab, the new owner is ridiculously rude. I was the groom and at midnight in the middle of the event she is asking me to give her money for additional people that attended. I told her it's the middle of my event, we already agreed upon payment for additional people and that would be handled. She then complained that some money was sent on Venmo and she didn't want to pay the transfer fee on Venmo. Again, during the middle of the event. I told her I can pay the transfer fee. She then went and told my new mother in law that I was rude to her in order to try to raise conflict between two new families that United that night. She was rude to several guests, not giving them water. Extremely disrespectful. She was nice leading up to the event and seemed accommodating but ruined my event by being rude to my guests, my family and myself. read more

Horrible, horrible place to make a deal with and to contract with them. DO NOT have Zainab cater your events, let alone host them. Save yourself the headache, stress and torture from her and run. She is so unprofessional, not reliable at all, doesn't know how to communicate and is completely incompetent in all aspects. For my engagement party, 3 dishes from the menu were missing. For my henna party the food was absolutely trash, and for my decor she just threw whatever together. I had to relocate the location for my henna party because she didn't inform the owner of freshmed that I sent her the deposit and secured a date for the event with her. A few days before the event party I texted her to see how everything was coming along. She told me " keep an open mind and have your options open" and wanted to meet with me in person. She told me the AC at the hall is broken so I should relocate when realistically my event date was already booked with a new customer who booked that date a month ago when I booked that date 7 months ago.. all because of her lack of communication skills. She didn't send the deposit to the owner, nor did she have them block off that date from the calendar. So the owner of freshmed thought that date was still available. After going back and forth for hours, wasted my whole day with her. She moved me to a different hall that was luckily available. I asked her " were you not going to let me know about this til I called you?, when were you planning on telling me?" She pretty much said she takes it one day at a time because she has " a lot going on" mind you I was 4 days away from my party! Planning my events with her was a utter NIGHTMARE!! I highly highly recommend people to find different vendors else where as there are so many PROFESSIONAL/ COMPETENT ones in the Sacramento region. Please stay away from Zainab and her so called "business". read more

Look at the photo this is the contract they gave me it's not even in English and the guy was just a regular employee which is totally absurd this is their professionalism we were told $25 per person with decorations included turned out no decorations were included they call me the day before that day can't do the decorations furthermore was told that the owner was in Australia I made a deal with the lady that was in charge her name is sharifa give her the deposit everything was good $25 will promise everything the day before the owner shows up from Australia and calls me and says no things included only food and that's it I'm like wait a minute you can't be telling me this the night before nope she didn't listen they were mad that we didn't use their in-house DJ I use my own they try to call the cops on my DJ they wouldn't let him set up they were mad because they didn't get a cut the guy with the mustache and glasses that was there was talking too much s*** to the DJ and the camera guy way out of line very unprofessional they were only staff with one person to serve 80 people and clean up they were not prepared the bath room was a mess run away from this place. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. If you can avoid booking with this scammer please do so. She'll tell you one thing at the beginning make you sign the contract and at the day of the event she'll change everything. If there is left over food she'll keep it. If there's stuff you didn't use and though you paid for it she'll keep it. You have to leave a deposit and she didn't even give me my full deposit she gave me 1/4 of it claiming this and that. COMPLETE SCAM! If you're willing to take the risk make sure to review the contract, and get everything you asked for and keep a close eye on the owner. To make matters worse I had book this event prior to COVID and since COVID happened and everything got canceled last year I requested a cancellation and she told me she could not do that, that the best she could do was change the date.... When we arrived at the center to see it in person everything was dirty but the staff member told us that they just had a recent event and they're in the process of cleaning the hall. We were promised on the wedding day everything would be clean and neat. On the day of my daughters wedding I arrived extra early to ensure everything was in place. Some of the table cloths were VERY DIRTY. I politely asked them to change it and they told me they don't have extra table cloths and that the table cloths were JUST FINE, even though they had food stains from a previous event. That was my first red flag, but I had no other option with the wedding being only 3 hours away. The center pieces were not the same ones we ordered, and when I asked about them they told me that another event that was going on at the same time had requested them before me so they had to change my pick to another one. This happened without my knowledge and I found out about it on the day of the wedding. The food situation was horrendous!!! I was charged an extra $500 because I requested peanut-free and dairy free food options for 39 of our guests. I was ensured that they would have at least one option for my guests and I was more than happy to pay that $500. On the wedding day I come to realize that the food options I made were NOT PRESENT. Literally 39 of my guests DID NOT EAT FOOD. I was infuriated. I confronted the owner and she told me that I did not make any special requests, and I told her that I paid an extra $500 but she denied it was for the special food requests. I had very high hopes for this place especially when the owner was so nice (before taking my money) but after I paid everything they didn't care whether or not I was satisfied. They took away from daughter's big day and that is something we will never get back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place AT ALL. There are plenty of other centers in the area so do your research before giving them your money. read more

A great place to host events. I have been hired to rent out equipment at events here and also have organized many of my own at this venue. It is has many features that any host or promoter is looking for. Clean/nice bathrooms, a big smoking area, and plenty of parking. One plus for people doing major lighting or sound production is the fact that they have one 50amp and one 30amp outlet for large distro/spider boxes. If they had a few more that would be great ! but those two have gotten us by in conjunction to the wall outlets. The one key feature is the size of the venue. You are given the options on how much rental space you are allowed to use. This is one feature that many other venues dont give. one of my favorite banquet halls around. read more

Three days ago, first time visit that I was invited by the Rancho Cordova fund raiser with Crab feed dinner event. I really like it the place because the enviormemt is very clean, the food also fresh and delicious. My party had a great time that evening. I am highly recommend this event center to be the best event hall choice. Great place having party, like company gathering , wedding, and sweet 16 birthday party. Good for any age and surround sound stereo system. Ball room dance will be perfect. read more

The location is convenient, the building is nice. I went for a seminar and the accommodations were great. It's not too big but the 200+ people fit comfortably. Downsides, parking, they have a lot of of parking available, but not enough. There's ample parking across the street since there is empty retail space, if there was a store open there it would have been a mess though. I don't know where I would have been able to park. They also have 2 bathrooms, I only went in one but there were only 2 stalls, I don't know if the other one had more... 2 stalls is never enough! read more

I recently attened an event here and I can say without any hesitation it is the most beautiful banquet hall I have ever seen. The layout and size is perfect for any type of event and the decorations are simply exquisite, especially the chandetiers. Even the bathrooms are gorgeous! The food that was served was delicious and the servers were all very nice and very helpful. The sound system was great. the 2nd job has had our holiday party here for the past 2 years. each time the venue has been beautifully decorated with lots of lights, trees, and bows a plenty. our room was super spacious with a huge dance floor and pretty good sound system for the dj and karaoke. this year they catered as well. you can't go wrong with the *Italian* pasta buffet. garden salad & caesar salad, chicken parmesan and chicken marsala?, penne with alfredo or marinara, meat or vegetarian or chicken alfredo lasagnas, garlic bread, and butter. our company brought in desserts. the staff and servers were very friendly with smiles the whole time. in our room there were mens and womens' restrooms on each side of the room. they had me right there. i'd definitely suggest them to friends and family possibly looking for an event venue. read more

Came here for a company party. Its somewhat an odd location for an event center. The party was very large and it was odd cause the back area was opened for tables, but they are off on their own from the main area in a nook. Place however is very clean and inviting. read more

We held our Annual Gala and Installation Dinner there last week. The staff is very responsive and the venue is clean and well set-up. I cannot say enough about the bathrooms - clean and beautiful! My only suggestion is that you check out the sound and AV system a day before so that you have no difficulties if you plan to show a DVD or power point. We had a fund raising event at the Sunrise event center for the Sharif Library for 400 people for dinner. The place accommodated everyone comfortably for dinner. Their staff gave us all the support and services we needed. Our caterer said that the facility was easy to set up for the party. The center also has a good size stage for venues. We will use them again in te future. read more

Sunrise Event Center is a great place to host an events. My friend Nikki and I recently went to Sunrise Event Center for a charity funding. The experience was very satisfying. The servers and the food was excellent. The place can hold up to more than 50 tables and the bathrooms was sparking clean. Some place that I attended wasn't as good as this center. It's very clean and the services was very excellent. After seeing this place my friend Nikki is planning her wedding at Sunrise Event Center after the birth of her newborn. I was there for a crab feed last weekend. The facility is very nice, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is super clean and nice. I love the food, from the salad to pasta to the crabs, everything is fresh and tasty. This event center is easy to find and there are lots of parking spaces. Wonderful Place! Very beautiful inside and out. Great wall art, and many details that make this place gorgeous. Bathrooms and whole facility is extremely clean and well kept up. I had my wedding here, and all guests just loved this place. Its a fairly new facility, and staff takes a good care of it.
