My Uncle Ron was the guest DJ on Friday, July 3Rd. I have never been to this establishment before. However, I was super impressed with how close I lived to this place. I have to say, considering the fact that this was a holiday weekend, the amount of patrons in attendance, whether it was the main area or even throughout the vineyard was impressive. My uncle was playing all type of great hits, and the crowd was very engaged. It was super hot that damn people still were dancing and sipping their wine and those delicious wine slushies and let's not forget the food. Paesanos being on site is a huge bonus in my book. We toured Scribner Bend last November as a wedding venue option and immediately fell in love with the venue!!! The romantic, garden-esque setting is absolutely stunning and was everything we dreamed of for our wedding. From start to finish, working with the Scribner Bend team was such a breeze and truly made wedding planning fun and stress free. When we first booked, Shaye was the wedding facilitator and she was absolutely fantastic to work with. Later, I got to work with Hillary, their new wedding facilitator and she was just as amazing! So attentive, quick to answer questions and always accommodating of any last-minute requests. They really have such a well-oiled team and their amazing list of preferred vendors made the entire process seamless. We were married on a Friday which meant we had the wonderful bonus of hosting our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at Scribner the night before. It was such a fun, easy experience and set the tone for the big day. Paesanos, their in-house caterer was fantastic (separate review) and they provided us with delicious wood-fired pizzas and two salads for our rehearsal dinner. All of our guests were raving about how good it was!! On our wedding day, we had access to the Bungalow for getting ready and wow!! it is such a beautiful, charming space. My bridesmaids and I loved spending the morning there. It has two make up stations that had great natural lighting and is great for making tiktoks! The guys had the Airstream, which was really unique and fun, though on our 100-degree wedding day it was a bit stuffy since the AC couldn't quite keep up (which is understandable for an Airstream!). Still, it was a cool and memorable space for them to get ready in. I cannot rave about Scribner Bend enough. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is phenomenal and they truly helped create the most magical and smooth wedding day for us. We got married at Scribner Bend in May 2025 and it was a dream from start to finish! Scribner Bend was the only venue we visited during our wedding planning process because we felt so pleased with the beauty, charm, pricing, and process they offered. We were especially pleased by how much was included in the venue package that we didn't have to coordinate separately, like lighting, tables, and chairs. Shaye was an absolute delight to work with and we always felt cared for. As a queer couple, it was so nice to feel welcomed and accepted by Scribner Bend and all of their preferred vendors we spoke with. May was the perfect time to be there, the white roses on the arches were in bloom which complemented the rest of our florals beautifully. Our whole day flowed so smoothly thanks to Deija, our day-of planner provided by Scribner Bend, and all of the rest of the staff. All of our guests were so complimentary of the wine, the setting, and the flow of the evening. We really could not have wished for a better venue experience. We also want to note, Paesanos was an exceptional caterer! I know some might be concerned with not having a choice of caterer but we found it to be a relief (one less vendor to coordinate) and Paesanos did a fantastic job. Rain was amazing at communication, and Diana was wonderful to work with on the day. They even packed up a couple of containers of leftovers for us to go home with. One of my favorite wineries to visit for wine tasting and lunch! My friend and I both chose to wine taste! We both ordered the mixed flight that came with a combination of white and red wines. We chose a shaded table in the courtyard near the Paesanos kitchen! Shortly after ordering fried raviolis, a pizza, and a salad, we were brought our wines! Loved the fact that paesanos is here offering a full lunch service! Many other wineries only offer charcuterie , this is a great addition here! All of the wines paired beautifully with the Italian food we devoured for lunch. The courtyard offers plenty of seating and an abundance of shade. Even though it was a bit of a warmer day in the region, we felt comfortable in the shade. The two wine tastings were a little over $30.00, which I found the be very reasonably priced! I also purchase a bottle of their delicious sparkling almond wine to enjoy at a later time. Scribner Bend Vineyards was one of the last wedding venues that we toured in March of 2024, and the moment we walked the beautiful grounds and got a feel for the flow of how our wedding day would look, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. We were luckily enough to lock in a Saturday in October of 2025. We not only fell in love with the natural beauty of the property, but we were impressed by how kind and welcoming all of the staff were (Shaye at the time and then Hillary), greeting us with their amazing signature almond champagne. Since we had over a year to plan our wedding, we were able to attend 2 wedding open houses hosted at Scribner Bend and the staff greeted us so warmly, remembering our names and making us feel right at home. We also got to know some of their incredible preferred vendors such as Jackie's Flowers, Rain from Paesanos Catering, and the Elegant Events Media Team. They continued to be great to work with, super communicative, flexible, and open to any and all ideas that we had to execute our wedding vision flawlessly. Leading up to wedding day and at our rehearsal practice, the day of coordinator, Hillary, was so great and organized, making us feel at ease and confident for anything that wedding day could throw at us. Scribner Bend Vineyards could not have been a more stunning wedding venue. The Bungalow was a great spot for getting ready and it was so fun to hang out with the girls and watch the guests arrive through the window on the upper level of the house. The vineyard was absolutely gorgeous, golden hour in the vineyard was dreamy, guests loved all of the various seating areas throughout the whole night to chat with family and friends. The food was so delicious and well organized. The staff was all so friendly and accommodating (Hillary brought champagne for us after we walked back down the aisle before we escaped for our sunset photos, the Paesanos catering team fixed us plates of appetizers and dinner and set up our sweetheart table with everything that we needed). Our grand entrance through the barn doors onto the dance floor with the guests circled around the hedges was a major highlight, and the fountain filled with flowers was picture perfect. It has meant the world to us to hear that so many of our guests who attended our wedding have been telling us that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to. Overall, we would so highly recommend Scribner Bend Vineyards for anyone, we would 1000% get married here again. We will be recommending it to all of our friends in the hopes that one day we will get to be the guests at such an awesome wedding venue. We first booked Scribner for our wedding back in August 2023, and we finally had our wedding this past Saturday! From the time of our booking, we've worked with a few different wedding coordinators that all had amazing communication with us. Most recently, we were working with Hillary, Stephanie, and Cassidy who made sure our wedding went perfectly! :) They recorded all of our notes and implemented any special requests that we had. The food from Paesanos was amazing and we got a lot of compliments on the choices! We got the following: Appetizers: Honey Sesame Beef Skewers and Fried Mac & Cheese Bites Salad: Farmer's Market Salad Entrees: Tri-tip and Chicken Saltimbocca Accompaniments: Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Farfalle Pomodoro The venue is truly so beautiful and the white roses were blooming! We loved how the Scribner staff fixed my husband and I a plate of food so that we didn't have to get up ourselves. The bungalow to get ready in is stunning and the AC was amazing in there lol. The air stream for the guys is small, but it was enough for them and they enjoyed hanging in there before the activities began. We spent a wonderful few hours on a Friday afternoon here. Nice location just off Highway 160, plenty of parking and abundant seating areas. Wine was excellent, small tasting room but staffed with knowledgeable, friendly and helpful people. Reasonable prices for both glasses and bottles. Paesano's Pizza seems to be their mainstay food vendor on site and the don't disappoint either. Since it was Friday, it was "Music on the Bend" time with a cool trio playing all sorts of covers from different genres bossa nova style -- and it works! Definitely a place we will come back to -- thanks to everyone there for a great experience! read more

I often frequent this location with my family (Daughter, Son-in-law and 2 toddlers) the food has always been so GOOOOOODDDD!! and the service meh sometime I get a weird vibe from staff here... not sure what's up with that but I recall my daughter had a bad experience the first time she came. Thankfully it's gotten better. I LOVE their Almond Sparkling Wine and the Brussel Sprouts... and the Farmer's Market Salad the Pizza is decent and the kids like it. Paesanos does the food here. Had the pleasure of watching two of my friends get married at this beautiful venue may 12 2022! It was absolutely beautiful, both the occasion and this venue. I work in the wedding industry myself so my standards are pretty high, but Scribner Bend Vineyards was as close to perfect as it gets for a wedding. They have a beautiful outdoor ceremony space that is on grass surrounded by roses. The roses smell so fresh and really bring in the wedding feel. The aisle that the bride walks out on is a great distance to allow for everyone to get out their happy tears as they watch her walk up to her forever person. They have an outdoor tent that covers all of the tables and chairs and really helps protect from natures elements. It was a bit windy and you couldn't really feel it in the tent which is great because most women tend to wear dresses to a wedding, and dresses and wind do not make a good combo. My favorite part of this venue was their staff. Considering your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, you definitely want your staff to be kind and memorable. I felt the staff here really goes out of their way to make sure not only the bride and groom have everything they need, but the guests also do. Taylor, jess, and kellen were all super upbeat and personable and made our night that much more fun. I'm not a huge wine person and Jess was really patient explaining to me the different flavors and aromas in their wines and letting me try basically the whole selection! She actually found me a wine that I liked which was surprising to me. We also had an almond wine for the toasts and it was so delicious. We found Taylor throughout the night and she was so nice. Got us hyped for the catered dinner and was just really pleasant to be around. Lotsa parking, great sunset pics, plenty of space. We loved it all. In fact, at this point, feels like "family" as much as anything else. An ultimate place to hang-out in a scenic/charming Delta location for EITHER a romantic getaway for two, or a large party (we've had plenty of both). Heck, if my doctor told me I had to cut back on wine (perish the thought), I'd STILL be a regular visitor if only for the ambience, great food (the Scribners/Paesanos partnership is epic), and friendly staff interaction. My first visit was for Cinco de Mayo, and I really enjoyed myself. It's a lovely place with great service. I don't drink, so I can't comment on the wines (though my friends were quite happy with them.) What I can say is that the tacos were fantastic -- the meat was out-of-this-world good! I just wanted to skip the whole taco set-up and eat a plate of meat. The guy who does the tacos/meat at the winery actually catered an event I attended several years ago, and everything he makes is phenomenal. I was so happy to find him again! I'll be back for sure -- for the food! :-p I don't know if he always does tacos, but I'm hoping on normal weekends it's regular barbecue. Even if you're not a drinker, it's totally worth a trip to Scribner's just to have this meat. It's hard to find good smoked barbecue in the Sacramento area, so if you've been looking, this is your spot! read more

My husband and I got married at Scribner Bend 2 weeks ago. Words can't express how much appreciation and gratitude we have for the entire staff to help make our special day truly amazing. From start to finish, it was so easy and stress free. Jessica helped us the entire time to ensure we were happy. She communicated very well, she answered all of our questions and was just pleasant to work with. On our day, it was amazing. We used the preferred vendor for our photography, videography, DJ and Photo Booth. It was so nice because they've worked together before. Everything operated so smoothly. No hiccups or anything. I went to this venue for fact finding and wine tasting for a possible upcoming bridal shower. The property is beautiful with Paesano's onsite but the wines were a huge disappointment. The Albariño (complimentary) was refreshing, however, the wine goodness ended there. I never considered myself a wine snob but I have been a wine club member to Plymouth and Napa wineries and now realize there's a difference. We bought the $18 tasting for all Reds because that's what our guests drink. My daughter and I couldn't finish the samples. I had high hopes because it has beautiful gazebos for private parties and Paesano's food on the premises but the wines botched our plans. read more

Overall My wife and I got married at Scribner Bend vineyards in August of 2022. We could not have asked for a better experience all-around. The initial decision-making process, staff, venue and catering were all 5-star. Happy to go into more details below. Decision-Making Process We found Scribner on The Knot as we were looking for venues in the area that had openings on our intended wedding dates. We met on-site with Jessica and we were immediately impressed with their venue. They had everything we needed: on-site catering (one less decision to make), on-site winery (we loved the specifically-chosen wines that paired with our catering menu), on-site facilities (Bridal suite available early the AM of wedding day), beautiful surroundings (grape-filled vineyards, different areas for all wedding festivities and pictures), and the preferred list of vendors made such decisions extremely easy since they work with only the best in the area. Venue On-site Staff The staff at Scribner was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. Throughout the initial vendor picking, through all of the many changes up until wedding day, Jessica and Scribner were very quick to respond and provide insight/guidance into the craziness of wedding planning. The wedding day was no different. We had a day-of coordinator to go along with Jessica so that the wedding day was as easy for us as possible. It could not have gone better. We never felt like we had to overlook anything. We were able to enjoy our day for us. Can we talk about the food?!?! Scribner works directly with Paesano's for their on-site catering. Paesano's has multiple days where you go in to test the wedding food options so you get to taste the food you and your guests will be eating on your wedding day. This was immensely helpful. We chose a buffet-style dinner with 2 very good cocktail hour appetizers, 2-main entrees, 3-sides, salad and bread. It was truly great food. We were able to accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free needs without sacrificing quality or elegance. We also decided to to get late-night wood fire pizza for soaking up all of the beer/wine from the early parts of the night. HUGE HIT! We cannot recommend Scribner enough. As soon as we set them as our Venue and even until today, everyone that we talk to that has gone to a wedding there says the same. read more

Sunday, 6/09/2019 - First time here. Beautiful vineyard. Very cute. You need to keep your eyes open when driving to it. One blink of an eye and you'll miss the entrance. That's what happened to me. Our take on this cute little place (I only stayed for 20 minutes): Pros: 1) very small and cute. Intimate. 2) smal band playing music the whole time we're there. Nice entertainment. 3) cute little shop. 4) we got a salad and pizza. Not bad. 5) 2 wine bottles. Drank 1 1/2 bottle of our delicious wine. 6) very clean 7) nice set up for weddings and parties. 8) everyone was very nice there. 9) they had outside tables with the umbrellas up. It was very hot today. 10) there is wine tasting here. Cons: 1) I didn't experience any cons. I like my 20 minutes experience here. Will probably try this place again and see how it is. Scribner Bend Vineyards is like a little slice of paradise. The grounds are well cared for. In the garden area there is plenty of shade to sit beneath while enjoying your wine and a light lunch which you can purchase on site. Dogs on leashes are allowed. There is a tent for events which they have frequently during the summer and fall for members and friends . Weddings and other special events also can be booked . Brandon was so kind explaining all this to me on a very busy Sunday, while he was speaking with me and my brother he was totally focused on us. He was pleasant offering tastings of several wines. He explained membership plans and the benefits of becoming a member. Brandon made the sale and even went the extra mile and booked me for the next event being held September 20th.
