While I did not know Attorney Brown personally, I was familiar with her through my former place of employment and she was very well liked by students, as evidenced by the end of their semester evaluations. The family member took my advice and went to her office, talked to one of her attorneys on staff and immediately hired them. The family member told me that they were VERY pleased with the service, and efficiency of the entire client/attorney encounter and process. As for me, a year later I found that I too would need legal assistance, and I went directly to the Law Offices of Tracy A. Brown without hesitation. I was fortunate to have Attorney Brown personally handle my case, which I did not expect. I went into her office a nervous wreck and left feeling like a weight was lifted and that I knew I had made the RIGHT choice. I am here to tell you, she stayed on my case from day one (1), kept me abreast of everything she was doing; i.e, researching, receiving, calls,and was prompt on my paperwork and followups. She NEVER made be feel like I was bothering her. If I emailed her or dropped something off, I would have a response back immediately the next day. If they can't answer their phones, why give them your business, is my motto. EDIT: Today, they answered the phone!! I asked what the fee was this year. I was told $165. I started laughing and apologized to the woman, but will explain it when I get there in a few days. EDIT: The lady dropped my price of $165 to $130 after our conversation about how her company is overcharging customers. She also made a mistake on my State return. I asked her to double check it and she omitted a 0 on a form. What I didn't tell her is, the same thing happened last year. Be aware of what your refund was last year if you can. If nothing has changed, don't hesitate asking if an amount sounds wrong.

I noticed my w2s came earlier than usual so I called to schedule an appt. I couldn't get through to anyone so I called the Rock Hill location and spoke with Matt. He apologized for my troubles and was more than willing to take me in the same day. At that point I had to make a decision: do I keep trying my old place or try a new location? Since I already had my W2s and he had time for me, I went ahead and made the switch. Upon walking in to the Rock Hill location, i noticed how pristine it was and was instantly impressed. I've yet to notice an unkempt tax place but this one was immaculate! Not to mention, all the stops were put in place for Covid protocol, so I felt even more safe and comfortable being there. Matt was very warm, engaging, and personable. I should mention prior to me coming in, I had some concerns regarding my second stimulus, which I mentioned to him on the phone. As we were going through my w2, he took the time to throughly explain each section as well as give me the proper info regarding my stimulus. Any questions I did have were answered and he made it his job to make sure I had everything I needed. Matt made me feel as if we were old friends whilst still remaining professional.
