From the first sale I attended, it was clear that this family-owned business genuinely cares about the people they serve. They provide outstanding customer service and is apparent that they take the time to understand each family's needs while offering fair and competitive pricing on estate sale items. Bobbi's employees include her son Sean, his three children, and other loyal employees who appear to be extended family or friends of the family. One thing that really stands out is their willingness to help with all types of estates. Whether it's a high-end home or a property that many other companies might turn away, they approach every client with the same professionalism, respect, and dedication. That says a great deal about their character and commitment to serving the community. At every sale, and every customer engagement, the team is courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. They work diligently to price items fairly, creating a win-win situation for both sellers and buyers. At the same time, they work to safeguard their client's property and manage large crowds of customers which always seems daunting, but they handle crowds and tense encounters with professional politeness. It has been my observation that pricing seems to be very consistent from sale to sale based upon the condition and age of the item being sold. I believe they consider the demand and condition when pricing. My thought is the initial price typically on the first day of a sale is for the seller, and subsequent reductions in price are for the buyer in addition to ensuring the property is cleared since most of the homes and businesses are being sold. I encourage potential buyers to review the photos posted online of each sale to identify what type of property that Estate Sales by Bobbi is representing. There are times when the sale is what can be caricaturized as a "Pickers Sale" and conditions are more austere and one should be prepared and dress appropriately. Other sales are in homes that are set up to protect the property. In my opinion, Estate Sales by Bobbi is a company you can trust. I was disappointed until a lovely young woman handed me a bag and said it was "bagtastic" day. Anything I could put in the bag was a single price for the whole bag. They had consolidated what was left into a large room. There I found a tuxedo in my husband's size, an Italian suit, a sport coat, and several silk blouses and dresses for my daughter. Since then I've been hooked. I follow several Estate sale companies and this company is one of the best in the KC area. Polite staff, pricing is fair (not inflated) when you arrive, and the houses are neat and staged well. Definitely recommend them to other estate sale addicts like me.
