They had at least one employee working each room of the house that were available to answer any questions customers had. The checkout process was smooth and easy. They even offered the option to pay by PayPal which is a major plus if you're not carrying enough cash. He helps the seller's maximize as much of what they own to help the family. He is honest, sincere, has morals in an industry that is tough. It's not easy as families look to have a burden removed with high expectations to maximize asset value for the family, try to market to a wide enough audience and make ALL customers happy. Oh, and at the end of all that, get the house clean for sale by a real estate agency. If you have ever had to do your own estate sale, you would understand (as I have learned). I invited him over to my mom's house to review the estate as I had invited about 12 local Estate sellers (several had to pass over the phone as they were super busy). Now to be transparent, I told him someone came by the day before and I was offered by an estate specialists "friend" $1000 for the entire jewelry lot. I was a bit taken aback at an offer ahead of selling the entire house contents, but tried to look at it as a minimum benchmark as we needed another person or 2 to review to get the right appraisal. Enter Matthew. He showed up and spent over 2 hours with me evaluating my mom & dad's jewelry (equipment in tow) with all the other house contents. He did review the house contents and with a smaller house, it would of been tough for Anchor Estate Sales team to do the work and make the cost/profit and margin work. It's business and I understand. So with the jewelry he shared an immense amount of knowledge to me in a short amount of time and even though we didn't do the estate sale my brother and I consigned the jewelry out to him. He blew both my brother and I away with $4600 in sales at several of his estate sales netting my family $3K+ after tax and commission and we still have a ton left for future sales with Anchor Estate sales. He also shared a lot of personal experiences about his reason for the name of the company and donating to support the armed services. His team appears to be there to help the family 1st and foremost if he agrees to take on the task.
