I asked if another pair could be ordered and they weren't sure because it was the weekend and they needed to reach out to the manufacturer. Today they called me back to say it's out of stock. What got to me is that they were perfectly comfortable selling those earrings to me with damage and tried explaining to me that it's the type of polished gold and it will mark up eventually anyways. If you spend $1,000 on a pair of earrings, you want them in nice condition to begin with. I asked if they could fix the damaged ones on display (bc I loved them that much) and the sales rep said no. It's my second bad experience there. Last time I brought my great grandmothers ring there to get it sized. The jeweler accidentally sized down to a thinner band. When I went to pick it up I noticed it right away. The sales rep never apologized and after the rep confirmed the error on the order, they just offered to refund me for the lesser gold. I didn't trust them to take my ring again at this point to fix it. I didn't want this ring to keep getting resized several times when they should've gotten right the first time. I was extremely disappointed because it was a 75+ year old family diamond ring I was gifted to me. It has significant sentimental value to my family and I felt as though it wasn't a big deal to them and just another job to do. I'm not one to make a big deal about things but since this was my second poor experience there. First with the sizing of a family heirloom and second with not caring enough about a piece they're going to sell at full price with visible damage to it. You would think they would care enough about the pieces they sell to be in new condition. I wouldn't have even bought it at a discounted price due to the damage. Wish I took pictures of them to post but in the moment I didn't think of doing this.

It came back looking very different. The only thing that will do this to an imperial topaz is being super heated with the torch. I complained I brought paperwork. This business is very good with gaslighting people. I told them I was going to the police and the owner said good luck with that then put a no trespassing order on me so I can't come back to try to resolve it.. They told the cops that I ruined it myself which is not true. My stone is from Brazil and it's high-quality. They ruined my bracelet the memory of it everything about it.. these people don't care about their customers. It's a shame. My gemstone was never pink even when I brought to them to get fixed. Wear and tear absolutely but my problem was the gemstone was not the same when I got it back. They had me convinced nothing was wrong with it until I wore it for a day then went to another place to have it evaluated. It's not in the same condition. You need to heat a stone like this up to 500° to get it to change to a pink tint. Blaming a customer is wrong. I will only deal with established BBB members from now on. Lesson learned

She's the best in the business, so much so that my husband went back to her for a pair of beautiful diamond earrings as a day-of wedding gift. Additionally- the wedding band engraving, which they send out to a master craftsman who does it by hand (you can't get him on your own, he's not even listed-I searched) is icing on the cake. 10/10

We are enamoured by the high-touch service of the staff here. The various jewelry collections are gorgeous. Modern jewelry enthusiasts will also not be disappointed here, in terms of selection. You can even find vintage jewelry at Pearce. We were charmed by a carving in a cameo wearing a tinier cameo. The white-glove service here cannot be overstated. My grandmother's precious jewelry and some other beloved items were ran over on Route 89, and the team rallied to find what could be repaired. The staff are quick to offer cost options, as well. For instance, to replace a lobster claw clasp we need to pay over $200. But for one of our bracelets, the $40 clasp option was just fine. They will repair your jewelry and watches on site. If the repair is more complex, there is a watch technician who will pick your watch up on the weekend and return it the following week. And when I did this, there was a precise invoice prepared with a photo of my watch on the print-out. Very much appreciated the process, here, which counterbalances the repair turnaround time of one week. From the moment you walk in, as soon as the staff are able to greet you, your needs come first. And there is an hospitality bar with coffee, tea and soft drinks available. The overall space and ambience are clean and beautiful. I have not found this level of genuinely luxurious service - defining 5 Stars - in the surrounding area nor beyond. It's not to say that folks in NH and Vermont aren't nice. From a service perspective, they are usually friendly, efficient and competent. But at Pearce Jewelers, you are walking in to a high-end, customer-first experience.

Once we let Jordan know what kind of main stone we were looking for, she got a few of them in for us to take a look at pick from, and then we picked out the setting. The whole process was extremely easy and pleasant. And the final product we received was and is absolutely beautiful. My wife still looks at the ring and mentions how she loves it over a year later. We also visited a couple times to get her and my watch straps adjusted and the service was fast. If you have any other places booked, I'd suggest you cancel those because they really have great selections here and if they don't have it on hand, they will make sure to find one that you (or our partner) will love.

She has a great sense of humor. She is a pleasure to work with. She does a great job. She charges a reasonable price for her work. And she has a reasonable turn-around time. Had Bubs out to fix two small leaks and prime our well pump. My mistake was letting them start…read morewithout asking for their rate or an estimate. Getting water running again was our priority but he suggested starting on the leaks. Not long after beginning, Bub's father told me they couldn't attach their fitting to the well line because water was coming through; realizing my well line is gravity-fed after beginning. I had to pull the well line above the water level myself before they could install a shut-off valve. My well cover is about 300lbs and the line is 8ft down. I'm not sure what their plan would've been if I was not there. After saying the water was flowing again, they later told me my pump was done for and not to run it. They quoted $925 for a new pump, not including labor. With two hours of labor, the bill also came to $925 and my family was no closer to having running water. The materials installed were six feet of copper pipe, several compression fittings, a shut off valve, and a pipe hanger. I called another plumber afterward, who knew right away (just from a phone call) that my pump was fine. He had it running smoothly in minutes by clearing a port of sediment and then adjusting the pressure switch. Bub talked a lot about his experience and showed up with help but needed me to find a way to stop the water in order to address the first leak and then either missed or ignored the step that would've gotten my pump working. Their website claims they're transparent and budget-friendly, but I wasn't told his extreme rate upfront, the bill wasn't itemized (still waiting 9 days after he confirmed he would), and I nearly paid for an unnecessary pump replacement. Leaving 2 stars because the copper work itself was solid, but charging $250 per hour for six feet of easily accessible pipe work feels unreasonable. Being given the wrong diagnosis on the pump was unacceptable and raises concerns about their expertise or honesty.

The project involved an enormous patio, gardens, irrigation, decking, stairs, granite steps, that circled a large house that ran up to to the house, down to a dock. The project involved much regrading of the terrain. It also involved paving with materials a long, rather steep shared driveway that was deeply rutted. We watched the project unfold over several days and were deeply impressed with the scope of the project. Wow. The workers were diligent and never stopped except for lunch. Their expertise came shining through on every aspect of the project. They used bobcats to remove big boulders. They had to cut into rocks in the existing landscape to make the terrain suitable for the patio that circled the house. It was fun to watch. All the while we looked at our tired patio and thought "hmmmmm". We asked our neighbor for an introduction to Tom. Such a nice man! Tom came over with one of his crew, and measured off our spaces, which ended up being a walkway, patio and driveway. It was pitched all wrong and they worked that out, showing their expertise. After seeing the quality of the workmanship next door, we were happy to accept Tom's bid. With the equipment already next door our patio and walkway were installed in a jiffy. It's beautiful. I've put a second story on a house, done a kitchen and a few bath renovations, gutted a small house, and done landscape jobs. Tom is the easiest, friendliest, professional I have ever worked with. If he doesn't answer the phone he calls back promptly. His crews can't be beat. There wasn't a hiccup in the project. I can't say enough about Landscapes by Tom and am pleased to whole heartedly recommend him for any job.

I stopped by New Berry's to browse after eating lunch at JJ's Counter. This place sort of reminds me of Capitol Craftsman in Concord where handcrafted goods, jewelry and artwork are also sold. I did pickup up some cool glasses to wear in a couple of weeks, wink. I will have to stop back when the weather gets warmer.
