I placed my order on Target.com for a sofa. The delivery company assigned to my order was EFW. The shipment was supposed to arrive June 7 but it did not. After multiple calls/chats, I finally received a delivery date and time, June 18, 2021 between 6:45am-11:45am. On June 18 at 10:15am I received a call from the driver with EFW who told me he would be arriving in about 20-30 minutes and proceeded to tell me that he would only be dropping off my sofa to the lobby of my apartment building, not to my door. I immediately told him that's not going to work for me he's going to have to bring it to my door just like everything else I order from target, especially the biggest item I've ever ordered from target. Within 10 minutes a representative from EFW called me telling me that I have a "curbside delivery" not to the door delivery which is false because on my shipment receipt the service level says to the door! The representative proceeded to let me know that because I live in an apartment building, to the door means to the lobby door not my apartment door. It was the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life! I don't live in the damn lobby. I'm being discriminated against because I don't own my own home I live in an apartment so they refuse to deliver to my front door like they do for home owners. There was no way I, a female, would be able to take a sofa up 11 flights by myself! I don't own a dolly or live with a man to help me with my shipment. I was never told or notified I would be receiving my shipment at the curb of my building at the time of purchase by Target or by EFW. This was crazy! This was FALSE ADVERTISMENT ON A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL!! I couldn't believe that my order from target, TARGET, this reputable company was doing this to me. I called Target customer service immediately and explained my situation. Before I could even finish my story, the representative knew I was talking about EFW and told me unfortunately there was nothing she could do to help me. She advised to just refuse the shipment and let EFW send the order back to Target and get a full refund. I wasted 5-6 weeks waiting around for an item that I expected to be delivered to my door for only to be played games with on the day of delivery. I will be filing a suit against Target and EFW for false advertisement and discrimination. Target needs to sever their ties with EFW because they aren't doing their job. They are deceiving their customers. EFW is the biggest joke of a freight company that I've ever experienced. This is a violation of California Code, Business and Professions code - BPC 17500 which prohibits businesses from knowingly or recklessly making false or misleading statements or otherwise deceptive statements designed to promote the sale of goods or services. I want to make it very clear that at the time of my purchase, there was no fine print or anything in writing by TARGET or by EFW notifying the customer, me, of a "curbside delivery" upon arrival. I would've needed to know that information BEFORE purchasing the sofa from TARGET. read more

This company is the worst that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. My package was supposed to have been delivered on 12/9, and here we are 1 week later and I still have not received my package. I have called, emailed (with no follow-up), and called again and I still do not have my package. Their tracking system is laughable. My package has arrived at the destination city on 3 separate dates and upon contacting their "customer service", they regurgitate the same information provided on their website. Based on some of the other reviews, I don't have any faith that my package will arrive undamaged if/when it arrives. Going forward, prior to doing business with any company, I will inquire as to who they use for shipping and if EFW is used, that is certainly one order that will not get placed....they are that bad...just HORRIBLE! I see that EFW responds to some reviews, I certainly hope this is not one of them because there is nothing that they can say to me to make me change my opinion of them and their subpar service. Terrible Ordered 3 piece sectional. Delivery got rescheduled without a follow up call. Just waited around in there 4 hour window and had to call them to find out they can't make it. They show up that Monday (today) a hour and a half past there 4 hour window and the sectional was all messed up. It was severely damaged. Called sams club to figure this and no eta on a resolution. If we can't get a solid eta soon we are taking my order to Costco or somewhere else. Maybe you get what you pay for. Great deal on a sectional probably equals crappy logistics. After 5 separate orders gone horribly wrong, I need to let others know about the gamble that they are taking and will never work with this company again. I waited all day for a confirmed delivery appointment but no one called to let me know what's going on and no one showed up. I then sat on hold for 35 minutes waiting for an agent to pick up, only to tell me that their regional partner is not responsive. TBH, I don't care about your regional partner - you are responsible. When I tracked my tv from Walmart it said out for delivery 8/25/2023 @ 2:45. Tracking said delivered @ 6:45. I spent the weekend canvassing my neighborhood like a detective, talking with Walmart and considering filing a missing person's report on the driver. Estes said it would arrive 8/29, no TV. Absolutely HORRIBLE company! They came to deliver with no prior notice, so I wasn't home, and the delivery couldn't be completed (it requires being placed inside my house). I tried to schedule a delivery over the phone through their automated system, and it told me that I had successfully schedule it. On the day of, I called because I didn't receive notification that anybody was coming. They told me that I wasn't in the schedule. I was PISSED! The person on the phone said that they would put me on the schedule for the next day. That day has come. I called to see if my order was being delivered, and the woman on the phone said that it wasn't. I went off on her! She is now telling me Monday. The worst delivery experience ive ever had. We ordered a bed that arrived in pieces. The box was destroyed and the legs and screws were missing. We asked for it to be returned and a new one. Second one arrived in the same state although luckily we had legs and screws this time. The first bed was to be collected a week later but of course that didn't happen. I dragged it outside myself (with a wrist splint in 30 degree heat) in anticipation of its collection but they didn't come. I left it outside on my porch because I couldn't drag it back in again as it's incredibly heavy. 3 weeks later it was to be collected again but again no one showed. It's now been 5 weeks and it's sitting outside my front door covered in mold this company is a disaster. I've never experienced anything like it!! read more

Wow, look at that! I'm not the only one who has gone through h*** trying to get a hold of this company for a delivery that never came. My grill from Walmart was slated to arrive from EFW on July 8th. It was confirmed arrived in city on July 5th. We waited all evening in the delivery window and it never arrived. My wife lost work hours because she had to come home for the delivery window. The phone rang and rang and rang when we called and no one ever picked up. I contacted them via email the next day and called Walmart to contact them. The response via email was that the item JUST arrived in the city (this was on the 9th). My response saying that it arrived on the 5th was ignored. Walmart "got a hold of them" and told us it would arrive the next day, Saturday. We waited all day Saturday, skipping any other thing we could have done during the rare summer days here. Nothing. Since then I have been on the phone with Walmart (someone different each time) six times for at least an hour. Each time they "got a hold" of the company and incited that it was being reviewed and that EFW would get back to us within 24-48 hours. Not. A. Word. Each time I would call back and send another email to one of the three EFW emails. Each time I was told it would be forwarded "to the team" and that it was under investigation and that I would hear back in 24-48 hours. I also received responses like, "Sorry for your confusion". Not. a. single. word. ever. on what happened to this package or any info relevant whatsoever to the delivery or attempted delivery. It is now July 19th, well over a week later, and weeks since it "arrived in the city", and I'm at the end of yet another "24-48" hours later cycle.  They still have not given me a single bit of information. I had Walmart refund me for the price. They told me if it ever shows up they can reinstate the purchase price to my card. Good lord. We wasted an evening and day of our summer waiting for these people, and I've spent around 6 hours in total on the phone and writing emails trying to get information. Take a look at the other reviews here! There are so many with this same issue. Good luck getting anyone at Walmart on board with the issue, as you'll have to describe it every  single time again, but at least they actually RESPOND to you with relevant information. I have never had worse customer service experience or delivery experience. I'd be surprised if the grill I ordered even exists. I have no idea how a 300 lb. delivery gets "lost", but it looks like this EFW shipping company has managed some pretty outrageous poor delivery feats. I had a very good experience with my 300 lb. treadmill being delivered in Chicago, IL. The delivery guy was friendly. He gave me enough notice that he was arriving at my home. He parked where I needed him to park for deliveries to our building. He also moved that 300 lb. box around like a champ. I had a Treadmill Delivered by EFW back on 4/21. Delivery man was nice but stated that EFW does not send out two Men and that he was the only person to move a 400 plus pound Treadmill. The Treadmill was on a Pallet and not centered allowing for the box to contort and with that damage the components inside. There was plastic wrap surrounding the entire box as well making it difficult to assess the damage until the driver left. My first instinct was to reject delivery but instead was very excited to have to item and signed off but listed damage to box (there was a decent size hole, but I could not see inside) thankfully otherwise I would not have been able to return. The treadmill is getting picked up tomorrow and in the meantime (I never learn)... I ordered a new one.. Hoping this second delivery is a charm. Ordered a TV from Walmart on Black Friday. Got shipping info right away with an estimated delivery date 10 days away. On the second day I received an email from EFW shipping stating that my order was already delayed due to national transit delays and capacity constraints. I understand this time of year is busy. The issue I have is it shipped from Los Angeles, less than 50 minutes from my house. Needless to say, the delivery date has come and went. Still no TV. After seeing all the bad reviews on here, I should have just cancelled the order. Will be contacting Walmart later today and if they can't sort it out I will be cancelling the order and EFW can eat a big bag of Richard's. read more
