This shipping company is a bad. I ordered a treadmill from Horizon on 6/5/2020, it got to their warehouse on 6/15/2020 and it just sat there for almost two weeks. I finally called and they scheduled a delivery on 6/24/2020 and they told me it would be at my home 6/26/2020 between 5:00am and 2:00pm. I took a day off from work and waited, and waited and waited. Finally 6:30pm rolls around with no delivery, I called them only to be on hold for almost an hour and to finally be told that they don't know what happened, but the soonest they could deliver it is Friday 7/03/2020, a whole week later! Additionally the persons I spoke to on different occasions have all been rude and unprofessional. Avoid this company at all costs, they don't know what they're doing! read more

I see a lot of people have had issues with this company and I'm sure they have their reasons. Being an office manager for years, I can tell you that getting freight companies to pick up and deliver when we expect them to comes with many challenges. I know weather and mechanical issues really have thrown us in a bind many times and of course, when we expect something, we tend to get impatient. However, for my home, I ordered a table from Hayneedle. The top is solid marble and must weigh 400 lbs. The driver was extremely helpful and courteous. I think he said his name was Miguel. He called me before arriving and took some very heavy boxes to the door. He was friendly and polite and I appreciated the way he handled everything. Horrible so far. I ordered a treadmill and it took a couple of weeks to get to my city. I rec'd confirmation that it had arrived in my city and I would soon be contacted for delivery date and time. Never rec'd any type of contact. I called after 4 days and scheduled a delivery via the automated system and an email confirmation. On the scheduled delivery date ..no call.. no show. Now i have to wait another week. I want to just cancel the transaction but I would have to pay a restocking fee. I read other's reviews and I felt It couldn't be that bad but really it is. Broken agreement on delivery time and you have to contact and f/u with them as they will never call you to fix a situation. read more

If I could give this company no stars I would. I ordered a tv from Walmart on September 17th and shipment was supposed to be delivered on the 29th but nothing. Everyday the tracking keeps telling me that day and still nothing. Paid 49.95 for shipping and am having the worst time receiving the item. Update: Based on Jay E.'s response to my review, I did reach out to the email provided, and received another email saying "my request is being escalted" - only to subsequently receive a voicemail indicating my delivery is confirmed for July 8, two days from now. After 6 missed delivery appointments for which no one showed up from EFW. I suppose "escalate" is key word for "no action being taken". Sense of urgency? None. It takes a week plus go deliver in a 10-mile radius. So frustrating. ----------- Like many others, I ordered furniture through Target, and was aware there are shipping delays currently, which is understandable. Finally my delivery date was scheduled for June 29 and I made arrangements to be available all day, so the furniture delivered doesn't end up sitting in the rain for hours. No one showed up. I called the next day and was told the driver didn't make it, but it is confirmed for June 30 by 4:00 PM. No delivery again. I called again, and was told it's escalated, a complaint is being filed and surely, absolutely, it would arrive by July 2, and to reach out again if I don't hear within 24-48 hours. In the meantime I receive an automated email listing my delivery is yet again confirmed for July 5. Yet another escalation. Another story as to why there's a delya. The variety of back stories the representatives share each time is quite interesting - and different each time. Can you guess what happened next? Nothing. No delivery, no escalation team calling, no complaint response. I sent emails, sat on hold for 30+ minutes several times, was hung up on waiting for another escalation, talked to a supervisor who simply put me on hold for another 20 minutes while she "escalated" again, to finally be told it's actually scheduled for delivery on July 8 now. This item has sat in the warehouse 20 minutes away from my residence for a week now, while I made arrangements to be home for its delivery for that entire week while being told I have an appointment for its delivery. How Target has managed to partner with such an inefficient freight company is hard to understand. Massive reputational damage for Target - I will never order furniture from Target knowing this is their delivery partner, and needless to say, I would never seek out EFW for any personal or business needs of my own. read more

I was a bit concerned with how my recliner love seat was going to arrive after reading all the reviews but was pleasantly surprised as my order arrived a full week ahead of scheduled delivery time. The delivery driver was with a company called ATech and he told me he could not help me bring it inside due to liability reasons which is what it is. I did like that he offered to help me open the package to verify everything was in tact. (Bonus points) I decided it would be much harder to get inside my place after being opened so I declined. Overall the delivery driver was very pleasant and friendly. Our Love seat was in perfect condition and we are very happy with it! Worst shipping agent ever!! I have been trying to return a chair back to Target for over a month now. After 3 failed pickup dates they finally got it. I have had to call every time to get it to move to the next location. Now its stuck on the dock at the airport. No telling if this will ever get back to Target so I can get my refund. Ordered a kayak from Walmart on April 19th. Got an email from Walmart telling me my ordered had shipped and EFW was delivering my package in a weeks time. Well a week came and went and I never heard from anyone so I contacted EFW. They informed me it would be another week, that my package was sitting at a terminal in PA. So I finally got an email from them saying it would be delivered May 11 between 1 and 5. Well 5 came and went and still no package so I call again and no one seems to know where my package is. This is a 10 ft long 70 lb kayak. You don't just lose something like that. I have no kayak and no answers. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional and terribly unreliable company. I have had six different delivery dates and about four different stories from their customer service department giving me excuses as to why it said it was out for delivery but never showed up to my home. I have had the worst experience with this company. I ordered an item (that costed a pretty penny) in July. I have yet to have my package delivered. I have been told several dates that my item would be delivered. I have contacted customer service a dozen times. They have escalated the problem several times as well. I have received text messages saying that my package would be delivered in (x) minutes and no one has showed up. She explained I will get a call when the driver is about 40 minutes out. The driver called and said he would be there within the time frame I was allotted. If I could give a zero I would. I've never negatively reviewed a company before, but I had to so that others could know to avoid EFW. The EFW tracking site said the Horizon treadmill I ordered was delivered on 7/30 at 13:00. It was not delivered. We have a ring door bell that has a visual on the entire street and walkway (the only access point) to our house. I reviewed the footage for that time. To give them the benefit of the doubt, I even reviewed the whole 2 days surrounding that time. No box, no delivery person, or delivery truck came at any time. I called EFW, assuming there had been some kind of mistake. After a long hold, the person on the phone said they had documentation showing "proof" it had been delivered. He wouldn't elaborate much on what that meant and just said there was nothing they could do. When I explained that I had footage of that day and time and that there was no way that it was actually delivered, he basically said it wasn't their problem and that I would have to call the treadmill company to "sort it out." When I asked what I should tell the treadmill company he was totally unhelpful and dismissive. Of course, the treadmill company says that EFW is showing it was delivered. I explained the whole situation and am trying to see if they will at least give me a refund. I will NEVER use EFW again. If a company only ships using EFW, run away. Walmart referred me to this company to pick up a defective appliance. Pick up was scheduled and completed. Almost 3 weeks later I got an email from Walmart stating the merchandise had not been returned to them and they were charging my credit card for the purchase. I called EFW on a Saturday. The person I spoke with was able to confirm that the merchandise was still in their possession and had not been returned to Walmart, but didn't know why. He stated the issue would be escalated. I called the EFW 800 number on Monday and after 30 minutes on hold, got an agent who said there had been an email sent to the "terminal" Saturday to request status, no reply received and had not been previously escalated. He claimed he would do so now and I could expect a response within 48 hours. I'll update this thread after 48 hours. read more

Ordered from Hayeedle a large bench, set up time for delivery with Estes, so far so good...then, they deliver an enormous wooden palate, an enormous box, and an enormous amount of packing material on the WRONG DATE when my older children were home doing online schooling and I was at work. They put the box in front of my garage door and left it. How exactly do they expect me to get a giant van load of junk to the dump (no way will our regular pick up take it)? Let me tell you a little bit about my dreadful experience with this so called company. I order an intex pool from Walmart on June 28th with an expected delivery date of July 7th. On the 7th, I received an email stating it would now be delivered on July 13th. My item was sitting in Philadelphia for an entire week! I only live 45 minutes from there! I could have pushed a wheelbarrow there and been back before this thing was even delivered today! July 13th came around and it still was not delivered to me so by a stroke of sheer luck, I was able to get ahold of someone via their chat. They arranged for a dock pickup so I could do their job for them instead. He assured that when I arrive there, my item would be ready for me to pick up. I travel 45 minutes to Philly only to find that item was never at this facility and they can't find it now. The man I spoke to on the chat did call me to try to resolve it but we left empty handed. The owner at this delivery company offered to give us someone else's pool that was slightly smaller than the one we ordered so we could be on our way.what kind of a business is this?! He assured us he would be on top of this matter and contact us again in the coming days. Surprise surprise, we never heard a word back again. Meanwhile, I got fed up and just had Walmart send a replacement and that delivery date got pushed back extra days too!! It took almost a month for my pool to arrive. I kinda wanted to use it for the summer time. When it came today, the box was damaged and the liner had a slash in it. Needless to say, this company is by far the absolute worst in terms of punctuality, customer service, and just about everything else you can think of. Do yourself a favor and use Amazon because they actually fix the problems. My personal experience was great, they sent me an email with the description of how the delivery works and what to expect. I was given a 4 hour window for in home delivery which was perfect not too much time. The delivery driver put the couch in the leaving room and the box/ items where all in good condition . Delivery was supposed to be made on Dec 21 and then rescheduled to the 26th here we are on the 27th and my purchase still hasnt arrived. After seeing all of these reviews, I was really nervous when I saw this was the company that would be delivering the treadmill I ordered from Walmart. Luckily, my experience seems to be the opposite of other experiences here. The delivery was one day later than the estimated delivery that Walmart provided when I placed the order, but the shipping confirmation was accurate. I received my scheduled 4 hour window a few days prior. Towards the middle of the window I received a phone call that they were about 20 mins away. They arrived on time and were courteous and helpful in rolling the box to the place I requested. I haven't unpacked the box yet, but there is no apparent damage to the packaging. If i ever see a package is being delivered by EFW i will cancel my order. almost impossible to get anyone on chat. Target had the delivery date on their website so i planned to be at that residence on that day. Package was not delivered and when i finally got ahold of EFW they would not acknowledge that any delivery date was ever given. they would also not give me a delivery date, only saying they would let me know within the next 48 hours of the new delivery date. i had to reschedule my work week so that i could stay at the residence until delivery. i asked how much notice i would receive before the actual delivery and was told 24 hours. 2 days later i get a call from someone saying they are 10 minutes away. No text or notice that delivery was happening that day. a truck with no name and a young unprofessional couple dropped package in driveway. completely in awe that this company is functioning at all and do not predict it will stay in business for long. i have also let target know that they should not be using this company. UPDATE: ordered some chairs from walmart and guess what? they used EFW. Exact same thing happened again. I even checked with EFW each day of the week to make sure the delivery was really happening. I do plan to update this review if the problem is rectified within a timely manner. I ordered a treadmill from Horizon. The order sat at the destination city for over the 7 days which is no big deal under the circumstances. The issue is that they contacted me the night before they wanted to deliver. Unfortunately, I had KG registration that afternoon and the timeframe they gave was 1-5 and I would be gone from about 2:45-4. They state, we can leave the item if you sign a paper saying they can deliver without me being present. I said that is fine as long as they put it on MY sidewalk, not leave it on the public curb. Needless to say, I left for KG registration and arrived home at 4:02pm and my neighbor said they just pulled away as she came over to tell me that I am not going to believe what just happened. I saw already as I was pulling up. The treadmill had my gate off the hinges and the box was busted open. I checked my camera's and they arrived at 3:54z One guy wheeled it over on a dolly... my neighbor witnessed him stand it up straight at the entrance of my gate and just push it over!!! As it fell, it shifted to the left and fell on my gate and with the weight of the treadmill, broke my gate and the impact made the box bust open as well as crack the treadmill all while he was cursing about what just happened as the other associate just stood there. At that point, they knew it was broke... they should have just taken the package back. Now, I have had multiple emails, 2 phone calls to EFW (which the customer service reps I spoke with were great and very apologetic) and two calls to Horizon. The treadmill is still sitting on the sidewalk, as I can't move it nor will I waste my energy to store a broken treadmill until they come back. Again, I called customer service within 15 minutes of them leaving and customer service at EFW called the drivers but they would not pick up. They could have turned around and picked it up right at that moment. All in all, I now have to wait for a pick-up which I still have no word of!!! I also have to wait for a replacement treadmill which will take 1-3 business days to process and upto 15 days for delivery. At this point, this should be escalated as a priority and the pick-up should have occurred next business day and my replacement order should be expedited. Absolutely horrible service on the delivery drivers end. No clue why only one guy would be delivering a treadmill that requires a minimum 2 person lift. If they didn't have the staff to deliver it, then it should not have been scheduled, let alone insisted by from the delivery team by convincing me to leave a note. NEVER AGAIN!!!! read more

Horrible experience. Ordered an outdoor patio set and an outdoor dining set from Overstock. They split these into two separate delivery companies. The company who delivered my sofa set was easy to work with. Sofas came on time and boxes in mint condition. I called requesting to remove the signature because my husband and I had to be at work all day. No problems. Then came my dining set. I had a delivery window between 10-2 for a Friday bc I was off from work. In the morning I was out of the house for a doctors appt and was home by 9:35. I waited all day and no delivery. No calls. Nothing. Called at 230 asking where it was. They called me back saying they attempted delivery but no one was home. I checked our surveillance camera and sure enough they came outside of the assigned window at 9:30 and left. They never called me or left a note to tell me they were even at my house. Don't give a delivery window if you're not going to show up in that time period!! So I rescheduled to Monday and requested to remove signature as I was not going to take a day off of work to receive this delivery. No one got back to me if the signature was removed or not. I just left a note on the door with my signature and asked for them to leave it. Came home from work Monday. Nothing. Called again at 430 and they said it was getting delivered Wednesday. I said was anyone going to tell me this because we scheduled Monday. The woman on the phone said since the delivery requires no signature they would deliver whenever instead of it being scheduled. At this point it was laughable and I said if it's not at my house Wednesday I'm canceling and returning this item. I got home from work Wednesday and it was finally delivered. But thank god my items were securely bubble wrapped bc my boxes looked like they were ran over by the truck. Like many others, I would give a 0 star rating or less, if I could. I ordered a 10'x12' rug weighing 35 lb from Target on 06/21/2018. What I received on 07/12/2018 via EFW was an extremely damaged 12ft long roll of vinyl flooring weighing 200-300 lb. I immediately (07/12) called Target to request a return and duly recd my return tracking no. Upon receipt of tracking no (07-12), I immediately called EFW and scheduled a pickup. Earliest date available was 07/18. This is 07/20 and the item still hasn't been picked up despite 5 plus phone calls. Extremely bad service. Reporting EFW to BBB and Attorney General in MN. Also submitting a review online any place I can. EFW should not be in business. And the companies that use EFW shouldn't be in business either. The companies that use EFW, to my knowledge, are: Target, Walmart, Houzz, Overstock. If you see any company that intends to ship with EFW, cancel the order immediately! read more

When you promise a delivery on 12/17, don't email me til 12/18 that it's going to be late. Then when i call, you either don't answer or, the real good kicker-your auto system says it has NO record of my shipment. Don't call back. Don't answer emails. I asked the merchant to send another but once i saw THIS COMPANY picked it up again, i called to cancel the order all together. Now, the merchant won't refund my money, I've had to go thru my bank to do a stop payment. I don't have my merchandise and you don't know where BOTH my packages now are? We ordered (6/10/2022)from Walmart a $1400 swimming pool (500 lbs)they used Estes for delivery (6/21/2022). Estes sent my package to Durant from the Oklahoma City warehouse instead of delivering it to us on June 21, then estes change the delivery date to 6/24/22. Still was in Durant Estes change the delivery date again to 6/27. Walmart says it delivered at 2pm Estes says it's still in route. We DID NOT get it. read more

Today when I called they said it was my fault the item is delayed because I didn't select an appropriate level of shipping. i ordered through target and was not given any opportunities to select shipping level. Created a Yelp account just to write this review. Were originally told our order shipped on Nov. 29 with delivery for Dec. 6. On the night of Dec. 5th received an email that the shipment is delayed. That is the last we heard from the company. We did find their online tracker and could see that the shipment was not even picked up until Dec. 10. On Dec. 12 it was still reported in the Origin city. That was five days ago. They have a non existent customer service. I called the number and was met with a busy signal. The next day I did get through and was 466th in line. (That is not a typo). After 45 minutes I was up to 440th in line and took the option for the call back. Three days and have not heard anything. The contract this is being shipped with is with Walmart but even they could not help us. I will never purchase anything that requires EFW shipping and will probably quit using the Walmart.com platform. read more
