The only reason why you stopped trying to schedule the delivery that day is because it passed. Then after you finally gave me another option and I confirmed that day , you called me daily saying that you were going to cancel the delivery if I didn't confirm it. I ALREADY DID. Then you told me my treadmill was "out for delivery" only yo call me 5 hours later to tell me it wasn't getting delivered. It sounds like you're doing what's most convenient for your lazy and inept technician and not what is most convenient for the customer. I returned the treadmill and got my money back. Received a call about my delivery and I asked them about updating my service to be able to have my package be delivered inside of my home instead of curbside- I was immediately cut off mid sentence and denied. The woman offered no help and was SO RUDE and condescending when I asked her if her men can not leave my package on my SHARED driveway as it would result in an issue with my neighbors. Asked to speak to the manager and quickly realized she was just as rude, so it makes sense why her colleagues act similarly. My only offer from them was, "we can just send your package back to the company." LOL a literal joke. read more

After reading other reviews here, it seems that the only thing EFW has going for it is consistency -- consistency in being the worst delivery service operating anywhere. There is no way I can possibly overstate how frustrating it has been dealing with EFW. They are just ASTONISHINGLY TERRIBLE. Simple economics suggests that the market is supposed to bring about the swift demise of such poor performers. If my experience is at all typical (and it seems like it could be from the other reviews here on Yelp), then it is beyond surprising that EFW is still in business and that reputable companies still use EFW for deliveries. As other reviewers have noted, no consumer would ever CHOOSE to use EFW. I became EFW's unwitting victim after ordering a dining room table from Gilt.com. For reasons I cannot begin to understand, Gilt.com has willingly chosen to use EFW to complete deliveries to its (former?) customers. That's the mother of all bad decisions. The initial delivery date scheduled by EFW for my table was November 22, 2017. The delivery window was 1 to 5 PM. At about 5 PM, the driver showed up with my table. He told me that there was no way he could complete the delivery -- he was all by himself and the table is 8.5 feet long and 280 pounds, so he couldn't get it off the truck. I called EFW "customer service," which advised me to refuse the delivery and told me they would call me back to reschedule. Of course, they never called me back. When I called them back a few days later, we rescheduled the delivery for the inconvenient window of 2PM to 7PM on December 1, 2017. When 7PM came and went with no word from EFW, I called them to find out when the table would arrive. The representative with whom I spoke advised me that she wasn't able to get in touch with the delivery team but that she would call me back in 10 or 15 minutes once she had figured out what was going on. Once again -- no call back. As I write this review, it is December 9, 2017 and I still do not have the table. I have spoken with EFW a half a dozen times to find out when I will get it. Each time I call, they tell me they are "escalating" the issue and that someone will call me back within 24 hours. I have not received a single call from EFW. Not one. When last I spoke with them, they told me they weren't sure where the table was, but that it may have been returned to Gilt.com. What?!? The worst part about this whole experience is that I know that writing this review is really only just a way for me to blow off some steam -- because it isn't like retailers are transparent about the awful courier that is going to be making deliveries to consumers. We only learn that we are going to have to deal with EFW after making a purchase that requires freight delivery. You can bet that from now on, I will inquire as to the identity of the delivery service before making any future purchase. I simply will not make any more purchases that require delivery by EFW. EFW communicated well and arrived with my 500 lb shed within the time window. I have a very steep driveway. The driver figured out how to get up there to deliver the shed to the parking area. It was not easy to get that thing moved onto the lift, lowered, and wheeled to the correct spot single handedly but he did it! Great guy. read more

Literally impossible to actually receive a shipment. Sams Club (another incapable business) has difficulty getting the item into EFW's hands. But once it's there, chances of actually receiving your item are next to none. I asked for a minor adjustment twice regarding scheduling, and despite being told one thing on the phone, my item was inexplicitly shipped back to Sams and I've been refunded and left without the item. This company is a joke! The WORST customer service I have ever experienced! I returned a pool to Walmart. EFW picked it up and provided me with a waybill. Seemed promising. I called a week later to check the status of my return. Walmart had yet to receive it so I called EFW. After I provided the "agent" the waybill number he stated he only saw when it had been initially delivered to me and no pickup. Then after back and forth for a few minutes he was all of a sudden able to see the pickup info. Now we're getting somewhere. WRONG!!! I asked if they could provide updated tracking info. He informed me that it was "somewhere between the return dept and Walmart" but they have no way of tracking it after it's picked up and that I would just have to wait. My immediate response was "WHAT?! So you expect me to believe that a SHIPPING company has no way of tracking the packages they picked up?! That is literally your ONLY job". He proceeds to rudely ask me "So what do you want me to do?" I asked for supervisor and was told one would call me back. I asked to be TRANSFERRED to a supervisor and was told they didn't "have the capabilities to transfer" me. At this point I have ZERO faith in this company. I was very pleased with their service. I was emailed with a window of delivery. The day of I was contacted by a young man and told me how far away they were. I wasn't home at the time so they left the package on my front porch where I asked since it was raining. Upon my arrival I noticed it was the wrong package. However, the gentleman who called me had already figured it out (less than an hour later) and they were on their way back to pick up and drop off the correct one. I ordered a treadmill from Horizon like many others here. I didn't know who would be shipping and delivering when I ordered the item. I got nervous reading reviews on EFW, as many had very poor experience with the company. Ultimately, I got my treadmill within about 2.5 weeks around the holiday season and in one piece, so I was happy with that. There was one delivery person but he had the right equipment to move the treadmill easily to my garage. He was on time and polite. My main gripe with this experience is their online tracking which doesn't update and is inaccurate. I regularly checked the website and it didn't update from when it was originally shipped. The tracking never showed it coming to my area. I wouldn't expect their tracking to ever be accurate. I also had difficulty reaching them via email and phone. I am glad the local driver and delivery was reliable. I would be nervous using this company because their customer service is poor. I am used to UPS and Fedex where I can easily track packages and get ahold of customer service. This company, based on many reviews, is unreliable. This is the WORST business ever. If i could give 0 stars I would. they are so unorganized, never follow through and just keep you waiting for hours on the phone. They were suppose to pick up my proform elliptical and i got it ready and they never came to pick it up. every time i call they don't give me a straight answer and keep me waiting for hours to call the "dispatch team". I had to put the elliptical in the garage because they refuse to come and get it unless it's outside. I'm so confused! All of these horrible reviews and yet we are still having the same issues. I ordered an item from Walmart.com and the shipping is through EFW and yesterday the tracking information stated that it was delivered but we never got it. I have contacted Walmart and they were awesome but EFW is saying that they have escalated the issue and that they will let me know the status in 24-48 hours. Today they tell me that the item hasn't been scheduled yet and that they will contact me within 24-48 hours to let me know what happened and an ETA. They apologize but I see all of these horrible reviews with apologies all over them and it doesn't seem as though anything has improved. I'm wondering why Walmart, Target & other big chains continue to use them if they have so many issues. It's just so frustrating. read more

I will spare all the details of the calls I made. WARNING they will leave a order on your lawn. They do not give you text updates even though you subscribe for them. We ordered a beautiful curved sofa for our new apartment and waited patiently for delivery. Last Thursday, we finally saw a change in tracking status and scheduled the appointment right away for this Monday. We rented a dolly for the furniture a day in advance, so that we are fully prepared for the delivery from 10-2 today. However, we did not receive the delivery at all, and despite multiple attempts at calling and emailing both EFW and retailer, we were unable to get any information on where the package is at. Rescheduling the appointment is also not an option on the website even hours after the scheduled appointment window. We are very disappointed at the level of transparency and customer service that EFW provides. If they are experiencing difficulty with delivery given the circumstances, we would appreciate if they can at least provide us with an update and not overbook their schedule. read more

This is the second time I have had a package delivered through EFW. The first shipment, I had ordered from an online furniture delivery company. The company automatically has EFW deliver the items. The posted window was 8am-6pm for delivery. I attempted to call the customer service at approx. 5:45pm. They stated that they could not get ahold of the drivers and were unsure of when my packages would arrive. The shipment arrived at almost 11:30pm! They dropped off three very large boxes of leather couches that I ordered (almost $7k worth of furniture), in the middle of the CITY on my front lawn. The drivers refused to bring-in the items in my home, as part of the extra service that I paid for with my delivery. It was late at night, and raining, I had to carry-in all of the boxes myself (let me remind you that this is THREE very large couches), as I was not prepared to have anyone there to help me (considering I paid for the delivery service to do that). The second shipment, I had ordered patio furniture from Target.com. Again, the company automatically has EFW deliver the items. This posted window for delivery was 8am-6pm as well. I called the EFW center at 5:45pm, and they stated the driver is en route with my package and will be at my home in 20 minutes. After another 4 hours of waiting, the shipment never arrived. I called the next morning, to find out that the package is "lost" in the dock, and will take at least 3 business days to recover. The first representative that I spoke with was VERY rude and un-accommodating. To this time, I have still not received this patio furniture order!!! From now on, when I order furniture from online, I will be double-checking that it is NOT arriving with this shipment company! read more

Horrendous company. If you order any large products from Target they will ship with this joke of a company and that's when your nightmare will begin. Delivery is constantly delayed but they don't tell you a new estimated arrival date, all they do is repeatedly email you that your order is delayed. Their tracking website is never updated. They have a live chat but it will take at least 30 mins to get anyone to respond and when they finally do they have no information about anything. You are basically just supposed to wait around for months and hope you are lucky enough to be home when they attempt delivery and to receive your items in one piece. I placed an order for a pool purchased from Walmart in May, the item was picked from Walmart on the 28th of May, Walmart uses this company to deliver the item. The item was suppose to have arrived June 3. I called on June 3rd to find out what time the order would arrive. They couldn't get a hold of dispatch and claimed they would contact me 24/48 hours. That time frame came and went. I reached out to Walmart on the 5th and they claim, Estes can't locate the item. Their only solution is to escalate the issue. This is a 26ft pool (not easily misplaced). You call the number to get information on the tracking and you can't speak to anyone.. you have to use a chat. When you finally are able to get a phone number to speak to a live human, you are on hold for over an hour with no solution. I will never order anything that is coming from this freight forwarder again. Do your research and make sure the item is coming from a different carrier. My package was suppose to be here within 3-5 business days. It has been 3 weeks. I have been lied to numerous times. I was told my package would be here before last Saturday. To make a long nightmare short EFW gave me the run around for another week making sure to call everyday and leave the same scripted message on my voice mail that they were still in contact with the dock team (BS!) Finally the 28th EFW calls once again and leaves a voice mail and says that they contacted Walmart and basically canceled the order and I needed to call Walmart and order another table. This was just another lie being told by EFW because I had already called Walmart the 24th and told them what was going on. They ordered me another table and it was finally delivered by a wonderful delivery company Pilot Freight Services. This company is awful. My mom ordered an egg chair through target and they said it was delivered and it never was. got ahold of them and they magically couldn't get ahold of the driver. They were suppose to deliver a swimming pool that I had ordered. It arrived in state on 3/25 but was not to be delivered until 4/11. Kept checking status, on 4/1 my tracking showed it was now closed-not delivered. Had to call customer service to find out that it had been damaged. HOW do you damage a 500+lb pool??? No one though they had to call me to let me know this had been retuned to the store. I am currently unable to get a replacement from the store it was purchased from as there is no inventory. My address is in a new community in big Seattle area, but I have no problems receiving packages from UPS and Fedex and USPS. My package is a $1000 dining set. 1. The delivery was scheduled late for 3 days. 2. I have to call twice to schedule the delivery, otherwise no one contacted me to schedule 3. I have called 3 times to give delivery instructions but the customer service refuse to add delivery instructions 4. At delivery date, I received a call from customer service while I was in an important meeting, I have to drop the meeting and answer the call 5. In the call, the CS told me the driver cannot find the address, I provide the address instructions to the CS 6. After 30 mins, the online status changes to delivery, but when I arrive home, the package is not at my front door. 7. I searched all the front door of my neighborhood, I cannot find the package. WORST CONSUMER EXPERIENCE EVER Im 40 years old, buy 10-15 items online per week and have never posted a negative review in my life. I created this yelp account because EFW was so horrible and to warn others. 3 phone calls(1hr hold time) , they can't locate my package which was supposed to be at my house yesterday. Had to get WalMart involved and was told it would be at least another week by EFW. Spoke to EFW with wmart on the line and EFW's actual response was uhhh, you will just have to wait. I asked him why they couldn't expedite. He said, you realize we are just the middlemen-we don't ship anything. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Asked for someone that could get it expedited and he said there was no one and that he would request someone call me back in 48 hours. We waited months for the mattress to be delivered .. backordered due to COVID. So, we waited. Had no idea the item was coming when it did as I don't check email everyday. Just happened to walk outside when the truck rolled up. The driver was super courteous. Had the invoice in his hand when he got out.. called me out by name, big SMILE on his face. I was really happy to see him. I was surprised he worked alone. Really BIG RIG and one man to unload each item -- WHOA! that's a lot of responsibility. Hat's off to the man for working so hard.. he even assisted us getting the boxed mattress into the house. Whatever he's getting paid, I'm sure he deserves a raise.. and an apprentice. The product.. mattress inside a giant cardboard box. Box was still in great condition and the mattress was packaged well. Everything was great.. really nice man. I ordered a couch from Target, was given a delivery appointment and it never showed up. Customer service essentially blew me off 3 times saying they would reach out to a local representative but never did. When I contacted Target they informed me that EFW somehow put the wrong city for my address...even though the shipping label from Target had the correct address. After being on hold for hours we still have no answers as to how this happened or where my couch is. It was apparently delivered to a nonexistent address and no one can track it down. If I didn't chase them down the way I have, my couch would probably just sit in a warehouse forever. No communication that there was a problem, no accountability or apology. This is the only time I have had issues with Target and if another purchase from them uses this company I will be looking for it elsewhere. read more
