Very impressive. Kept up to date on delivery through set up text and emails. The shipment was on time. It was handled with CARE which is a lost art these days. Not one dent in any box delivered. It was a table and chairs for patio so heavy and bulky. Ive had other furniture deliveries where the box was so damaged it bent the frame of a sofa and the box was torn into pieces on one side where it could not be sent back. Your company drove up on a small van for deliveries and you would've thought it was his only delivery for the day. He smiled, and was friendly and didnt look or act like he'd had a hard day. So professional. He was here as long as it took to unload and get a picture but he made the experience top notch compared to other delivery drivers. I wish all deliveries including the 3rd parry ones used by Amazon were done by Estes. To say he and the delivery WOW'd me is an understatement. I received an email saying that I would receive my package on a certain day and it never showed up I called and they Apologized for it not showing up and said they would put it on expedite so that I would get it faster. however, they wouldn't have needed to do that if I got the package the day that they had confirmed my delivery. The next day I received an email saying it was going to come not that day but the following day so to expedite it takes two days and so I called again And spoke to Sergio and he kept cutting me off as i was trying to explain my situation and he said that the email that I received is just a suggestion that it could show up that day or It could not so I waited around all day and the guy said that the email meant nothing. So now that my Package is confirmed the delivery for tomorrow I got that email again so potentially I won't be getting that package tomorrow based off of what he said. Also now that my package is coming so late it will be stuck in the rain because I won't be here to put the package inside and there's nowhere to cover my package from the rain so now my package that is fully wood furniture inside is going to be soaked and drenched in the rain because it wasn't delivered the day that it was confirmed for delivery. I still haven't received my package and i don't recommend anyone using this company if they don't have to. The customer service is terrible and i felt as though the "customer service guy" Sergio was trying to fight with me over the phone while i was just trying to figure out what went wrong and why my package wasn't delivered during the original confirmed date and time frame. read more

Horrible experience with my Target delivery through this company. Called four times to confirm the emails they sent regarding arrival were correct so I could be home to receive the package. In the end, took off work and no package delivered. Called and was told they would leave me a message with a time frame and call 30 mins before arrival. No call for time frame and no 30 minute warning. My apt. Complex called and asked if I was home, I explained I could be in 10 mins and they refused to wait. I would understand that if they had done what they said and it was my fault for not being home, but that wasn't the case. Ended up having to rent a dolly just to get it inside. Will be writing bad reviews everywhere I can. Called Customer Service- they said they would use as a coaching opportunity, hope they do. read more

Horrible. I've ordered furniture twice through Sam's club. We had timing and quality issues with our first order. However, we just ordered a couch and I took off of work for it to be delivered. After missing the delivery window, EFW said it was out on the truck and running late. I called again and it was actually never on the truck and they have no idea where it is. I called Sam's Club and will be urging management to stop using them as a delivery company and every other vendor that uses this company. If you have this same issue, contact the company that's hired EFW and say you won't purchase items that need delivery from them again if they don't switch. Never had a problem with Overstock.com until now. I ABSOLUTELY will NOT use Overstock.com again due to them doing business with this freight company. Not only were they late delivering, the product was on a wooden pallet just literally 1/2 inch too tall to clear the garage, instead of offering to help or maybe take it off the wooden pallet (they had a pallet jack), they unloaded onto my drive way and said "Have a nice day". Do yourself a favor and do NOT order an oversized item from Wal Mart if this is the shipper. I ordered an air hockey table for my son for Christmas. They set a delivery date 2 weeks after my purchase. It was to be delivered 12/17. They called that day to say it wasn't coming but that they would call the next day. I did not hear another word until 12/21 when they called to tell me they had no idea where it is. They are elevating it to their "Corporate Recovery Department." By my cellphone log, I have called 9 times this week for a total on hold time of 14 hours 12 minutes. I have also sent multiple emails. Never an answer or a return call. No thanks, Wal Mart. I cancelled my order and am now driving 8 hours tomorrow to another company in another state so my son will have his Christmas gift. This company should be shut down. read more

I have a pool table that is supposedly scheduled to be delivered this Friday, April 9th, however they also said I need to call and schedule a delivery but no one picks up the phone. I've been on hold for over an hour. No one responds in their chat box. I also need this shipment by Saturday because I have guests coming over. This has got to be one of the worse experiences with a carrier ever. I try scheduling an appointment, however it says that their is no appointment window available for my shipment. Listen, my husband has a truck and we would be glad to go and pick it up as it is close to home and you guys still can't get my shipment delivered on time. I am definitely reporting this company to the BBB. If my shipment magically appears on Friday, I will go ahead and change the review but for now I am extremely furious and disappointed. I called off work to wait for the package. Never came. No phone call. And when I called the shipping company they were useless and could care less. They said it might show up on Monday. When I came on here to see reviews for this company I genuinely considered canceling my order. I don't doubt the veracity of these reviews but I am relieved that this wasn't my experience at all. The order arrived on time in new condition -- it was a glass dining table, a fragile item, and they were willing to call me when they were on their way so I did not have to take any extra time away from work. It was seamless. So if you are like me a week ago wondering if you've just signed up for a nightmare, it's very possible that you haven't. I would deal with this company again for sure. read more

This shipping company is awful!! Beware! I ordered a treadmill from Horizon and when it arrived it was damaged. The console was completely ripped off. The shipping company was also late and never called me to tell me they would be late. I had to call them to find out the treadmill would be an hour and a half late. Then I ended up having to have Horizon send a new treadmill to replace the first one they damaged. It took 2 month to receive another one. Again, the shipping company never called me to set up an appointment like they were supposed to in the first 72 hours. I had to call them. They messed up delivery times and and it was late again. Bought a Samsung 43" 4K Smart TV from Target.com on March 1st. Received an email from Target saying it was shipped the following day, but didn't show any tracking info until the 5th - listed as "picked up at origin". Tracking info wasn't updated until the 10th and was listed as "In Transit". According to Target.com email it was coming from South Carolina, which is not exceeding far away from where I live (Washington, DC). Contacted Target on the 8th and was told that the TV was being delayed to bad weather, but should be delivered in the next 24 - 48 hours. No TV by early afternoon on the 10th, so contacted Target again. This time, Target said it was "lost in transit". Was given the choice between getting another TV shipped to me or receiving a refund. Opted for a refund and bought it at Amazon instead. Given all the bad reviews, I wonder just how much money Target has lost trying to find a "cheaper" delivery service. Now that I know that they use this delivery company and how horrible they are, I won't be shopping at Target.com for big and/or high cost items. As I can't drive or otherwise have access to a car to transport such heavy/bulky items or want to take the time to go to the store for just one or two little items (like a cat toy or package of socks), I do a lot of online shopping - typically at least once a week, sometimes 5-6 times a week for the last 6 years. Hope Target learns sooner rather than later that they are not only losing money from all the lost/damaged items from using this company, but also from people spreading the word to others in their social circle. Overall, ok experience. Worried about this company shipping considering how many bad reviews towards everything. Got a 75 inch tv perfect condition. The bad the box was damaged a little on the side just enough not to damage the tv, i had to pay $50 for shipping and it arrived a week and a half later than i expected from Walmart. I wouldn't recommend this company unless it's absolute last resort. Always go for Fedex or UPS. If you haven't heard of a company be cautious. read more

This is the best delivery service. These guys went above and beyond for me. I wasn't home the first delivery (a pool) and they brought it to the backyard and set it on our deck. I was so happy to come home and find it already back there. I know some people might not like that but for us we have no way to get it back there ourselves besides carrying it and there was just no way so for that we're beyond thankful. Then the table we ordered came yesterday and they actually brought it all the way In the home for us. They didn't have to and they didn't ask they just did it, so I'm pretty impressed. They work hard in this heat with those packages and they still do more than what they have to do. read more

This company is absolutely horrendous. They ruined our order in transport so it showed up destroyed. We worked through target to get a refund and have the item scheduled to be returned. EFW has terrible communication, they told us they would schedule a pick up time but never called us. Instead they sent an email late at night saying to have the item ready to return the next day, which we were not able to accommodate on such a frustratingly short notice. Well in the meantime we ordered a new item through a different vendor and it got delivered. lo and behold the employee at EFW took the incorrect product leaving us with the damaged product they originally delivered. Dealing with Estes Forwarding Worldwide Has been The biggest nightmare I have ever had in a delivery of a package. I contacted Estes Forwarding Worldwide tracking my shipment from Walmart that I had ordered online 6/23/2019. I contacted them because I noticed on their website that my shipment had arrived at the "destination City" at 6am on the 29th of June.I called them on the phone and they were nice (it seemed) they told me that everything looked fine. OK good enough for me. So I finished the call and immediately after got a phone call back asking if I could receive the package the next day. Great (I thought) waited the four hours the next day called the call center. Was on hold over an hour, OK their busy. Contacted them through their live chat spoke to Patrick. Patrick said don't show any contact from me with them, OK well that was weird. Told him I was frustrated, he SEEMED very nice, assured me that he would take care of it. Set the appointment for the 5th of July. He assured me that he had made sure that everything was going to happen and he had confirmed it with whoever. OK scheduled it for the 5th of July from 10 to 2 PM. OK this was all setup, finished my conversation with Patrick. I noticed the Contact and "Appointment Set" date on their website had been updated to that day (07/02/2019). I noticed later that day that it had been scheduled from 7AM to 11AM, ok must have been me, I made a mistake (in reality I hadn't). So at 7am waiting for the shipment the day after the 4th of July and by 11am it hadn't show-up I decided to contact the EFW on their chatline to see if the driver was running late. I gave them the tracking number and Nicole (this time) said that they could set an appointment for me. I gave her a cut and paste from their EFW tracking site, she asked where I got that information. She wrote that they have no information of me contacting them so I gave her a cut and paste from their website with all of the shipping information including "Appointment Set 7/2/2019" She wrote that she had an opening on 7/9 from 9am to 12pm. I ended-up accepting this time. She assured me that she had confirmed it with the delivery place. Wow, finally so I accepted the date. When I was chatting with her She was gone for an extended period. Later, when I was telling her that Patrick on 07/02/2019 had said exactly what she was telling me and he told me that he had confirmed it she decided to inform me that she was confirming the delivery and that was why she was gone for the extended time during our chat. OK got off the chatline and at this point I noticed I could have a email of the Chat sent to me, so I did. I decided to contact them again through the chatline and make sure that they weren't messing with me, again. This is when I noticed that the time that they set was different than the time I was told. So I Chatted with another person Yvonne (sp?) I brought it to her attention that it was a different time than the time I had been told. She confirmed that the time was correct and I wouldn't have anymore problems, OK. Ended the chat and had a copy of the email sent to me. I noticed at this time that the first time I chatted with Patrick was the date (7/2/2019) they showed for "Appointment Set" and not the 7/5/2019 for the current date. Since I posted this one Yelp they have changed the "Appointment Set" to 07/05/2019 Though I still have a record of the 7/02/2019 "Appointment Set" on the online Chat text. After I posted this to Yelp they also changed the appointment date to 07/08/2019 online. At this point I am hopeful to get the TV for my wife who just had major surgery on her knee. I'm supposed to get it on 7/09/2019 (07/08/2019) but that is a few days away. Someone needs to get a handle on the call center personnel, because their running the place, at least they feel they are. read more

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would!!! I ordered a television from Wal-Mart on June 16th for a Father's Day gift and my delivery was assigned to EFW. The confirmation claimed my delivery would be made on Friday, June 25th no later than 6 pm. Because of the size of the television and the instructions on the website, someone had to be home to sign for the television. Friday, June 25th 6pm came and went with no delivery made. So, I called the company for an update. No one answered. I then went back to check the tracking of my order on the website and found that it had not been updated since Thursday, June 24th but stated that my television made it to the DFW area which is where I live. I have called several times and still unable to get anyone on the phone. I have since called Wal-Mart who is sending a replacement order. Today is June 28th and still no update on EFW's website since the June 24th and no one is answering the customer service line. In the event Wal-Mart chooses to use this company again, I will be requesting a full refund and taking my business else where. This is absolutely ridiculous and any company that hires EFW to handle their shipments should definitely reconsider especially if they want to keep their customers. read more

Out of all of the service I have received in my life this is the first time I have ever written a bad review. That's how bad it was. I placed an order on November 20th to be delivered on December 2nd. I received a phone call on December 1st asking if I had a forklift to unload my package. Not sure about everyone else but I do not own a forklift (I can't think of anyone who does). I told them that I didn't so they gave me the option of coming to pick it up hours away from my home (kind of defeats the purpose of home delivery). I explained that I did not have time for that. They said they would make other arrangements and have it delivered in the next two weeks. Fine, that still puts it here in plenty of time for Christmas. Since that time they set up deliver on three separate occasions. All of which I had to rearrange my schedule and take time off. Each time they did not show up and I did not receive any communication. I have spent hours on the phone (mostly on hold) to try and track down my package. I finally rented a trailer and drive three hours to deliver it to myself. I am betting that they still got paid in full for the deliver. Worst experience of my life. They should not be in business. read more

When I received the shipping notification, I went on to EFW's tracking site and signed up for updates.14 days after it shipped, I still had not received any updates. I contacted them via phone and after going back and forth with the customer service, I had her put her supervisor on the phone. The shipment arrived in my area the day before (13 days after shipment). I asked why I had not been updated or contacted for delivery, the supervisor did not know. I asked if there was someone I could speak with to get a status, she said that was the status that they were being told from the warehouse. She stated I would receive a call to set up a delivery date in the next few days, which would results in another few days until I received it or about 20 days from ship date for an item that was supposed to be RECEIVED 1 to 13 days after shipping. The lack of correspondence (updates) and general incompetence of EFW personnel involved are embarrassing. Avoid them. If you don't you will be in my shoes writing a terrible review. *** 1/3/2020 Update: So, I received the package on 2 Jan 20, 24 days after it shipped. I was contacted by EFW via phone after posting this review and then again the day after the local shipper contacted me (23 Dec 19) about setting up a delivery date. End result is that the delivery service is significantly slower than what is advertised (1 to 15 days). If you are good with getting your shipment in a month, more power to you. read more

The absolute WORST shipping company. It took them 1 month to schedule my delivery. Then they arrived 3.5 hours past the delivery window and never called to say they would be late or apologize. They delivered the incorrect table. It took them another week to pickup the wrong table. Then when I rescheduled the delivery the second time around for the 8a-12p window, they changed the delivery time at the last minute the day before to 12-4pm. The delivery service was supposed to be "GOLD Level" which included unpacking the table and removing debris but the delivery guy refused to do so. When I called EFW to ask them why, I was simply told that the email that EFW had sent me to confirm the level of delivery service was an automation systems error and that they don't unpack or remove debris. No idea how such an incompetent company is still in business. read more

This is one of the worst companies that I have ever dealt with. It took us several attempts to talk to someone to schedule a delivery. (You DO have to talk to someone because their automated system cannot understand numbers and kept getting the tracking number wrong.) When we finally got through, we scheduled a time from 12 til 3 in the afternoon the following day. They called us that morning saying they would be there at noon. It turned out that the delivery guy calling us was actually in Minnesota, and we are in California! Such efficiency! They had the wrong name, the wrong address, and even the wrong state. I don't know how they wound up with our number. We called again and confirmed the 12 to 3 time. I drove to my son's house (where the delivery was scheduled), and arrived at a quarter to twelve. At 3 my wife called the office, and the dispatcher said they were running late. He said the driver would call me with an approximate time. I waited until 4, and there was still no driver, and no call. We called this morning to reschedule, and were told the driver got there at 3 and no one was there. This was an absolute lie. I was seated in front of the house until 4, and no truck appeared. We have rescheduled for tomorrow and are hoping for a delivery. If you have any options at all, DO NOT USE this company. They are totally incompetent and inefficient, and then lie to cover it up. read more

We ordered a huge gift for our daughter 3 weeks before her birthday through Target and as of her birthday IT STILL WAS NOT DELIVERED. The delivery company EFW is a JOKE. They set up an appt for delivery multiple times and failed to show each time. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt and contacted them 2 days after not showing and the chat customer service agent the first time never called me back after looking into it so I contacted them again. The second time they just disconnected me after having me on hold for over 10 minutes while they investigated. I called furious and figured out why. THEY LOST OUR PACKAGES AND DIDN'T HAVE THE DECENCY TO TELL ME!! After several days I got an email the supervisor had found them and set up a new delivery date which was the date of my daughter's birthday but better than nothing since this was the only thing we got her!!! I received an email morning of confirming the delivery was still on and had to keep telling my daughter we had to wait to start her party until her gift arrived. I get a call in the afternoon the company can't find 1 of the 2 boxes and has to cancel delivery!!!! I CANT BELIEVE THE INCOMPETENCE OF THIS COMPANY!!!! HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS AND WHYYYY IS TARGET DEALING WITH THEM??!!! Target offered to reorder it which is a freaking joke as it would be delivered through this same nightmare company that had still failed to deliver it 3 weeks after ordering. We canceled and I ordered that day through Walmart and it was delivered only 4 days later through regular shipping fed ex!!!!! Night and day!!! Once you post a bad review someone will acknowledge it and let me know they have heard my concerns and will make sure this never happens again. Just to appease me and nothing further will be done about it. This is the third time in the row Estes forwarding has me taking time off to wait for a delivery that never happened. I ordered a pool table from Walmart.com which was scheduled to be delivered by October 16th, it did not happen. After a second failed attempt at the beginning of November, we had another scheduled delivery for 11/19 between 1-5 pm and guess what ? Still a no show. I called their customer service that same evening (11/19) at around 6:30 pm to figure out if the delivery was still going to happen and I was told no. Please keep in mind that I have to hire a couple of folks to help bringing the package inside my cabin as it weighs 274 LBS and because they deliver to the front door only . The delivery driver did not show up and twice and guess what ? Twice within two weeks I had to pay those guys to sit on their butt waiting for a delivery that never materialized. I then escalated the issue within Estes and received a call back the next day 11/20 from their escalation team. I then explained to the representative that I can no longer take any more time off work to wait for the delivery but I also need to make arrangements to have a couple of guys there to assist with moving the package indoor. If there was a possibility to have the item delivered on a Saturday so I can schedule with my helpers and not having to take time off work. The representative told me yes they can deliver on Saturday but she would confirm and call me back within an hour which never happened. This is the worst service ever. If I have to order from another vendor to avoid using Estes since Walmart is only using those guys for their shipments so be it. I have never seen a company that lies and has such a bad customer service. The ladies at the Atlanta dock have no manners and should never interact with customers read more
