My hair health, color and cut are extremely important to me. I also need a stylist that loves what they do and values their clients. I can honestly say Nancy is all that and more. My hair starting falling out and thinning a year after having my daughter. I was traumatized to say the least and needed comfort. The moment I met Nancy she assured me it was going to be ok and that she would do everything she could to help restore my hair. I have never had hair issues so this was all new to me. Even though I originally wanted Nicole since all the reviews were saying how amazing she is) so she could cut my hair. To start off, I told her I only wanted a 1.5 inch trim, and she trimmed more than that honestly probably 2-3 inches off. The second thing I noticed that made me realize I was going to get a terrible uneven hair cut was the fact that they didn't even ask if I wanted to wash my hair or not and began cutting my Wavy/messy hair DRY. Third thing that I realize my hair cut would be a disaster was that she faced me AWAY from the mirror the ENTIRE time. The nail lady took a long time (30mins) to cut my hair and kept measuring and comparing each side of my hair. Finally, the outcome was choppy and uneven. Nicole just stood there and start saying random arguments how DRY HAIR IS FOR CUTTING LAYERS and WET HAIR ISNT FOR CUTTING LAYERS. Honestly wish that I just didn't show up for my "appointment" cause she wouldn't have realized there was even an appointment in the first place. This isn't a 4-5 Star salon. Don't come here unless you want to be tossed over to some random nail technician for a hair trim. Nicole sounded rude and impolite both on the phone and in person. Never ever coming here again or recommending this Salon for women's haircut. Now I'm going to go to another salon so they can fix this crap job up.

Nicole is the esthetician who runs her business inside of the Reserve Salon & Spa, which is what you will find when you pull up the address in google maps. This business is within the Towne Lake Shopping center square and Cypress Wax Spa is located on the second floor in Room # 4. There is a very friendly receptionist when you enter from the 2nd floor, and numbers are posted outside of the Rooms/Suites. I was 10 minutes late because it was a bit unclear where the actual spa was located , but it was not a stressful experience because everyone was so friendly and helpful. Anyway, the entire experience was better than I actually anticipated. Nicole's station is immaculate, organized, and clean, and she is clearly well educated in her field, utilizing first class products. It was the most painless experience I've ever had, and she employs a plethora of organic and natural oils throughout the entire process. For my wax she did a quick refresh over my bikini area using jasmine cleansers and lavender oils, and then she communicated ingredients in what she was using when as she applied the product. She used both soft and hard wax, and walked me through her process every step of the way. What I really appreciated was her telling me when I would expect a more intense sensation during the waxing and when to breathe out since it had been a while due to being traumatized a few months back. She was consistently gentle in her approach and skill. Her communication skills were excellent. She did upsell me during my wax, but her pricing is extremely reasonable and the results are amazing. I can't tell you how much of a difference it makes when your esthetician is well versed in her craft and takes true pleasure in educating her clientele during the process. I was in the hands of a true professional, and I even went in for letting her use a high-frequency tool post waxing to reduce the breakout in a few spots caused by an ingrown hairs. Bottom line: Nicole knows what she's doing. She is a highly emotionally intelligent professional, she reads her customers body language ,and is not there to herd people in and out. She is fully focused on you from start to finish, and I will be returning soon.
