We also requested an estimate for additional work unrelated to the water damage. We made the decision to use Gonzales for the repairs as well as the additional work and we contacted Freddie on a Friday; they started repairs the following week. During the repair process we met several members of the Gonzalez family, and we were impressed by every one of them; they are professionals. Everyone with the company was very respectful. During the repair process they kept us informed of the schedule. If they identified additional work that might be needed, we were informed and given options should we opt to do the work. We appreciate their suggestions because we believe that we avoided future problems by addressing them at that point. All in all, we could not have been more pleased with a contractor than we were with the Gonzalez family and employees. They finished on time, on budget, and their work was very nice.

Fill up your trunk (I recommend bringing gloves) or the bed of your truck (you lucky dog you) and then drive back to the scale to be re-weighed. Then head in to the office to be totally gobsmacked when you find out that 100lbs of wood is UNDER $20. Yes...I said UNDER. All those fires last year where you used wood from the super market. Feel free to do a mighty face palm....I did. The wood is good hard wood that makes a lovely fire. My ONLY con is the size of the logs...darn you brick pizza fans!! So to sum up; resist the urge of that probably illegally imported bundle of wood at the store and drive on over to American....you won't be disappointed!!!!!
