We paid them to do a big project around our pool and within a year it cracked and is very unstable. It's like the foundation is bad. We reached out to David several times and he kept telling us that he would c'ome tomorrow' and would never show. This is after calling multiple times. Would not recommend. I reached out to Martinez Brothers for some concrete patio repairs. I provided a detailed scope of work and was given a 10:00 a.m. appointment with David for the next day. At 9:00 a.m. that day, I received an appointment confirmation email that asked me to confirm, which I did. David never appeared. No one emailed or called me - they just left me waiting for nothing. Ghosting a potential or current customer is the most unprofessional thing a company can do, and shows their complete disregard for you by wasting your time. They could have declined the appointment or reached out to say they did not want this work, and anyone would understand that. This was rude and a huge red flag about their business model. They inadvertently did me a favor and have sent me elsewhere. read more

David and his crew did an excellent job extending my patio and adding a wrap-around paver walkway. What I liked best about this experience was David's openness to understand my vision and his ability to turn it into reality even though it was a tricky project. David and his crew at Martinez Brothers Landscaping transformed our back patio & eliminated our backyard swamp! For our backyard project: The pavers that we originally selected continued to be on backorder, through no fault of David's, so he came to us with other options so that we could get our patio project moving. They took up the 10x12 concrete pad that came with the house and expanded our backyard patio to 16x24 with pavers. Additionally, our yard slopes down next to our AC unit, so they built us a nice cedar flower bed so that we wouldn't have to edge/mow in between the patio and our fence. For our French drain: Martinez Brothers also installed a French drain in our back and side yard to address poor drainage and standing water. We've had the French drain now for ~6 months and have not had any issues at all with drainage/standing water since! We highly recommend David and Martinez Brothers Landscaping! They are professional and hard-working guys. He came to our house several times to discuss our project and go over ideas before we started. Pricing seemed very fair and reasonable compared to other quotes we got. We will certainly use them again for any future landscape or hardscape projects. (Note: the pavilion structure pictured was not done by Martinez Brothers. It was purchased and put together by my husband/friends, though David did offer to put it together for us.) read more

David Martinez, owner of Martinez Brothers NC Landscaping. His crew trimmed hedges and trees, mulched, pulled out bushes. They started at 8:30 AM and worked until almost 7PM when the job was completed. They did an excellent job. Everything was neat and clean when they finished. The workers worked hard and were very polite. The price was reasonable. read more
