Absolutely avoid!! So many better options than this shithole. Here's a story for you; went in for pedicure. Got up at the end and found water and lotion all over my brand new Bircks. They then tried to "clean it" by rubbing a wet towel on the shoe. Long story short they gave me $150 for the shoe ; BUT then tried to walk off with my shoes in a bag. I told them to give me my shoes back and they actually fought me on it. We were just here for the first time my daughter in law picked out. I usually go to Classic Nails which is amazing!!!! They left here old polish on and didn't take care of the cuticles.. rough edges.. Didn't have her wash her hands. A very not good job. Now we are back to have them fixed if even possible. Takes up our time and won't ever return here. My toes I had done were excellent and although things done quickly she did a great job!!! but LOVE CLASSIC NAILS OVER NEXT TO FRY'S I would NOT COME HERE . Went to this place to get a full acrylic set but was talked into doing a full set with dip. Never really heard of that but was open to see what it was like. I felt completely rushed trying to pick a color and had no time to even look before they sat me down and starting working right away. They didn't take time to actually prep the nails clean them in any way or do anything to them just slapped on the tips and started going away. I am used to having cuticles cut and dead skin around the nails when I go somewhere else. I am pretty disappointed in these nails they cut my middle finger twice as you can see in the picture and all the nails are completely different lengths and missing color in different spots. I was using Kayla for awhile she did a decent job but they never had my polish color and she always wanted to charge extra for building up one side of a nail if needed on a fill. When I went in and even though an appointment was made I was always left waiting 15 to 20 min. I decided to try someone else, I tried Jennifer, she is good but very busy and hard to get into, so I tried a 3rd gal Lisa, I made the appt 3 weeks ago and today was the day. I went in said my appt was for Lisa, everyone looks concerned and begins the whole Vietnamese chit chat, next thing the owner comes to me and says Lisa is back in her hometown. ????? he doesn't know how long she will be but in ither words she isn't there. I asked him "you couldn't call me to tell me this or reschedule????" He had nothing, he said I have another person that can take you I was disappointed to say the least but decided I'm there, ok. 15 minutes go by, I walk up to the owner and ask, when is this person available, he said in about 40 minutes. I lost my sh*t,I said "you were just gonna leave me sit there the whole time and wait???" There is no customer service left in this place, I walked out and will NEVER go back here. I had been a great customer for over a year and an excellent tipper even when it wasn't deserved. A VERY POOR EXPERIENCE! My husband and I got pedicures. We were in the chair approximately 15 minutes. the bill was $74.00. Outrageous! We got the callus removal add on that they should have included with the mans pedicure for free since they weren't doing a polish, but no, nothing extra here. The leg massage was poor and when I went to leave no one helped me put on me flip flops even though 5 or 6 workers were standing around. So that is where the tip was lost. There was an older man that came in 10 minutes before I left, no one greeted him, and he was still sitting there when we walked out. There were only 2 other patrons and again lots of standing around. The owner Tyler said I received unsatisfactory service and a rushed services because I didn't make an appointment. I always make it clear I'm willing to wait. But for the love of god. PSA Don't accept walk ins if the quality will be different from an actual appointment. Don't come for me. I should have "made an appointment" but I Just spent 30 min crying over nails in a salon because my time/money isn't worth the same as someone who makes an appointment. I have been going to Estrella Nails for a few years now especially for pedicures and as I went in yesterday I was sat down and got helped immediately by a very young kid who I haven't seen there before. I asked for a deluxe pedicure with gel polish but the kid doing my pedicure cut my toe nails way to short to the point where they are completely sore the next day and the polish was all over the place. During the massage, he didn't rub my feet at all and was basically falling asleep while rubbing my legs probably to waste time. I visited here when everyone is supposed to be wearing masks and being respectful to others by wearing one, not being selfish and disregarding others health. No one was wearing one that I saw. Maybe one person . The owner, Tyler wasn't even wearing one even though he has a sign stating everyone must wear a mask . So obviously the sign is just to seem like they are doing their part to fight this pandemic. I didn't feel safe here whatsoever. The service wasn't horrible but not great either. It was rushed and the girl slacked on the massage so that sucked. I noticed uneven polish application once I was already home in better lighting. I had an appointment for a mani pedi. I came in and was ignored for about 4 mins then I was yelled at from one of the nail tables what I wanted. I explained I had an apt. They ushered me to a "massage" chair being filled with water. Water was cold. "massage" chair didn't work. I attempted to get someone to help me. The manager sat on his phone the entire time (usally hes on his laptop). Finally my girl came to do my toes and I explained that the chair didn't work and the water was cold. SHe turns the water to the hottest setting and leaves again. By the time she comes back the water is scolding hot. WTH???? Finally she got the manager to fix the chair by plugging it in. I can't understand why this place has almost 5 stars...I have given this place FIVE chances!! Five different days, different times just to see if I get any luck. No luck, this place is always packed! I know what you're saying, make an appointment right? I ALWAYS do and yet I have to wait at least 20 minutes. The staff there is extremely unprofessional. I'll just explain my last experience... I make an appointment 3 days prior because it was my day off. The appointment was for 4:00. They close at 7:00 I figured that was ample time for a mani/pedi combo. I walk in, it was not that packed so I had hope. I was told to sit and wait. I waited...and waited...10 minutes go by...then 15 minutes. I am finally shown to a table. OK getting my mani first, the guy starts with my nails and immediately says, "I don't think I can finish your nails, I have an appointment" to which I replied, "Well I have an appointment too." he asked "then you must be late" I was appalled. "No...my appointment was at 4pm and you guys had me wait..." he didn't repsond so I brushed it off. My nails at this point weren't buffed, the gel polish was scrapped off of my nails, very harshly if I might add. After 10 minutes of that. I was told to sit at a pedicure chair...OK? A very nice young lady helped me with my toes. She was telling me how all of the staff were going to a party afterwork blah blah blah. She was nice and did my toes nicely. I asked her if she was going to do my manicure and she looked at me like she saw a ghost, "Oh no! I can't do that I'm so sorry." Again...OK. So then this very rude women comes by and starts filing my nails. There was no warning when she came by so she startled me and I jumped. I laughed it off but in the most serious tone she says, "What? you don't want me to do your nail??" like almost yelling. I stayed quiet So my pedicure was done (french on toes) it looked great! My nails however, weren't even buffed and they looked horrible. The rude lady left and I didn't know where she went to I was waiting while my toes were drying. After 40 minutes, she walks up to me and says, "You like my nails? I'm going to a party, see ya!" Seriously?!? Aww hell no. I got up left 40 in cash at the front and get the hell outta dodge. They lost my business and hopefully this review will save another person from a horrible experience. read more

I don't usually leave reviews but I feel like a lot a women are feeling how I was (disappointed repeatedly with how my nails were being done) and should know that Estrella nails made me feel confident about going to a nail salon again. My neighbor recommended them to me so I thought I'd stop by. I decided to go on a Friday at 4, so to say the salon was busy is an understatement but that's to be expected at a popular salon during peak time and honestly, the wait was perfect because it took me quite a bit of time to pick a color. They have sooooo many colors! Henry did my nails and I couldn't be happier. The shape is perfect and my heavily thought into color was exactly what I was expecting. I have only gone to this salon a few times. It was nice to walk in today and the guy that is usually running the check in was not there. He doesn't seem friendly unless you are a regular. It was great that I was greeted with a smile today and not treated like a number. On a positive note I will say that I think Danny is absolutely amazing when doing my pedicures. I have had an issue with an ingrown toenail and when I told him he was super gentle but took care of that area and cleaned it well. It's always tender for a day or two afterwards but once it's calm again my toe feels amazing! I would recommend him to anyone that has issues with ingrown toenails in the past. The only other issue I had today was when I was getting my nails done, the guy named Brian or Brandon decided that after he got my nails soaking in the acetone that he was going to go outside and have a quick cigarette. Now I don't care if you smoke but.....1) you are still with a client and you came back smelling like smoke and to top it off, I had my young child there. I'm not a person that is like don't smoke around my kid, I'll keep her away from it, but when I go to your establishment and your client has a child (or not) don't go have a cigarette and then come back to take care of them. You don't know if that person has an issue with the smell or something. Just be courteous. I'll go back to see Danny but will ask to see someone else for my nails. read more

1st I have never seen so many men at the same time, sitting patiently getting a pedicure. I walked in and thought I stepped into a Man's Spa! LOL Hey, I'm not judging. I personally think it's cool when men have clean and nicely trimmed toes! 2nd If you want to be pampered and really taken care of, this is the place. However, if you have a limited time (which I did), be sure you tell them right off. I wanted a pedicure (Deluxe) and a simple manicure while my friend who was getting married that day was next door getting her hair and make-up done. It took them over an hour to do the deluxe pedicure and had not even started on the manicure. I'm assuming you need to tell them to do it at the same time as well. However, everyone was friendly. The pedicure I got still remains chip free and color brite on my toes. So props for that! I'd come back here when I'm in the Phoenix area. The price for a deluxe pedicure and simple manicure was $52 before tip. I think the price is dear, but again the pedicure has lasted a week so far. read more

New to the area and while in search for a new salon I tried Estrella. HUGE mistake. While I don't have a problem with having two techs working on me at once, I do have a problem with the feeling of it all being rushed. Rushed to the point that the tech doing my manicure was chopping away super quickly at the skin surrounding my nails leaving me burning and bleeding. That aside, the skin, the polish, and the shaping all looks horrible. My toe nails are also misshapen and gloppy looking. On several occasions the manicurist came over to whisper in the ear of the woman doing my pedicure, while looking at my toes. It was weird. I will never return. The End. read more

I used to go to this salon for years, Lou is excellent but unfortunately he was not in. I called and asked if I could get a nail tech that does a good foot massage as I've had 2 recent foot surgeries and appreciate/need a good massage. The person on the phone said I just need to come and see what I think of whomever I got. Would not refer me to anyone in particular. Worst experience ever. Salon was mostly empty, which surprised me as years ago they were packed. Now I know why. Poor polish selection (not near as many choices as years past) and top it off, a terrible massage. I told the nail tech once again that I needed a deeper massage and he didn't even acknowledge me. The nail techs were busy talking and laughing amongst each other and didn't even acknowledge me or my friend. There was zero effort to see if we were satisfied. I decided I didn't care for the color I had chosen for my manicure and asked for a different shade for my pedicure. She insisted that I had a "pretty" color, disregarding my feelings.
