I'm very disappointed with my experience at this nail salon and honestly want a refund for the service I received. Before starting, I showed the nail tech a reference photo of the exact design I wanted, just in a natural nail length. She confidently told me she could do it and immediately grabbed her materials. However, the final result looked nothing like the photo. Halfway through the appointment, I noticed the polish was not applied all the way back to the nail bed. When I brought it up, she told me it was because my cuticles were not done and that polish would get on them otherwise. The issue is that she never once recommended a manicure or cuticle prep beforehand, even after seeing the design I wanted. The color was completely off, the ombré effect was poorly blended, and several nails were not aligned properly with my natural nail shape. The lengths are also uneven. At one point, she told me the reference photo was "sprayed on nails" and that it would never look the same in person, but that was never mentioned before starting. If she knew she could not recreate the look properly, she should have been honest from the beginning instead of confidently saying she could do it. I also paid an extra $45 for the nail art design on my ring fingers, which took only a couple minutes each and looked rushed. The ombré technique used was not done well. Instead of properly blending the colors, she cured the dark brown layer first and then stippled white polish on top. I even had to ask her to blend it out toward the edges because it looked unfinished. The final result honestly looks like blood around the nails, almost like "vampire nails," which is absolutely not what I asked for. I understand that I chose the brown base color, but I chose it assuming it would be blended properly with the white like the reference photo. The outcome looked nothing like the inspiration picture. Overall, the service was overpriced, the quality did not match what was promised, and I left extremely unhappy with the results. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience. Update: I redid them at no extra cost with Kim and she did phenomenal. The manager was being a little rude and wanted to charge an extra $25 for the manicure. I explained the detail work costed $45 and I should be refunded that first. We agreed on the on the original price of $100. read more

We were directed to pick our pedicure chairs (that was new for us), and we were helped within a few minutes of sitting down. Kim gave me a wonderful hot stone massage and pedi!! My toes look Oh So Cute!!! Then Lana took the Pinterest pic of "Mother's Day" motif nails and did an IMPECCABLE JOB of duplicating it PERFECTLY!! She could have just rushed through and do an "ok job" because I was the last client THERE but NOPE!!! Lana took her time, carefully selected colors even going so far as to MIX 2 SHADES TOGETHER in order to achieve the best shade!!! (I this day & age, who does that?!!) Lana!!! Why? Because she along with Kim (and probably all the techs at Organic Nails) are true professionals that care yes CARE about doing their very best job possible!!! So now I get to look at their artwork and show them off to the world!! Oh and on top of all that, "Handsome Boy" Anthony (owner?) was so friendly, hilarious & engaging to me and everyone! You can definitely tell that everyone must enjoy working there because it has such a "fun vibe!" Oh and did I mention 1st time clients get a discount, AND they have a 24 (or 48?) hour guarantee that if you're not satisfied you can go back and have whatever it is fixed??!! Again. Who does that?!! Me and two friends went here this past Sunday, for another friends birthday. We were a little late but they still fit us in. We had requested to sit together and the guy at the front said it wa Sony, but then our friend was with a specific lady who refused to let our friend move closer when everyone said it was okay (she was the birthday girl). She said the lady was unkind the entire time. Her tech barely cleaned up her cuticles she had polish on them as well. My other friend thought her tech was nice but left with her fingers stained purple, from the liquid gel. They got the same thing but their nails were different prices. Mine were twenty dollars more but I had two colors. Which seems kinda crazy. My tech, I had to ask for extra layer of polish twice, there were clear spots through the polish. It wasn't evenly put on. My cuticles were really cleaned up. And the sides aren't done well. And there was polish on my fingers I don't think they will last long. For 72 dollars I'd hope they'd last for awhile. We've been to the Glendale location several and we really enjoyed it. But we won't be going back to the Happy Valley location. read more

I was surprised to find a salon open on Easter Sunday. I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk man Anthony was very kind and offered me a glass of ice for my soda that I brought with me. He also offered me a complimentary glass of wine or champagne. Lee was my nail tech and she did a great job! Very thorough! Both Lee and Anthony spoke perfect English which was an added bonus. Location: strip mall with lots of shard parking Atmosphere: pretty and doesn't smell of acrylic. Feels like they are trying to be luxury but a lot of the products you can find in the same quick shops. Service: Pedicure was very quick but okay. Full set with another tech was not really. Had to make requests for 2 to 3 fixes and I was charged an extra $8 for trimming my cuticles without knowing this is an extra charge. Not worth $80 at all for the quality. Value: For me this is a skip. My friends midrange pedicure lasted 34 min from when we walked in the door and Im not very happy with the work for either or us. I'm really disappointed w/ my experience. I recently moved to the area & looking for a new salon. I get a fill & pedicure every four weeks & I bring my niece for a gel set & pedicure & usually bring my mom as well for the same services. After viewing their Yelp page & seeing the intricate nail designs featured, I felt confident that this would be a good fit for us, as I also enjoy detailed nail designs. Before my appointment, I showed the front desk the design I wanted & asked if it was something their team could do. I was told yes. However, once I sat down, the tech & another staff member informed me that the design was "too busy" & advised me to limit it to 2 nails. Despite me insisting on the design I requested, they repeatedly tried to convince me otherwise, making the appointment uncomfortable and frustrating. Additionally, I asked to substitute the hot stone massage w/ a callus remover during the pedicure & was told this was fine. At no point was I informed this would incur an extra charge. I didn't receive the hot stone service but was still charged $10 extra for the callus treatment, which wasn't communicated in advance. This miscommunication resulted in an additional $20 charge. Finally, my niece, who has Down syndrome, asked for a small bow design on one nail per hand. She was excited about this request but was told no that it as not possible. Why? I got a design much smaller.. why was hers not possible? After she came to talk to me, upset that she couldn't get what she asked for, I had to talk to the front desk & ask for it. These three issues--the refusal to accommodate my requested design, the unexpected extra charges, & the unwillingness to fulfill my niece's simple request--were unnecessary and disappointing. It's unfortunate because we were prepared to receive 3 pedicure, 2 gel manicures & a full set w/ designs everything 4 weeks, you do the math. There are so many options for nail salons, you really need to have quality customer service to keep business. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will need to look elsewhere. read more

I haven't been able to get a manicure since the birth of my son which was almost a year ago, and my girlfriend offered to take me here on. Girls day. I was in pretty good spirits. I wanted a specific color, I probably asked 15 times and was ignored by the nail techs. The receptionist had to be flagged down to help me. I work in this industry and for me it's always just so disheartening when nail salons are dismissive and generally not that fun. They should be. The manicure part, we were sat across the salon from each-other even tho we had obviously come there together. Which is always odd to me. I did a dip, and the sides of my manicure are filed to where there is no color left. They're uneven. The dip powder settled very flat. Not rounded like I'm used to. Im considering returning and asking to redo them but im a single mom and a business owner myself, I don't have a lot of free time. So this was a bummer. read more
