I made an appointment early May for June 26. I was told I would receive papers to complete. I asked that they be both emailed and sent regular mail. After a week or two I left a message saying I never received either. I got no response. After another few weeks I got a call asking if I had filled out the papers because my appointment was coming up soon. I said I hadn't received them. They were mailed and received. I started working on collecting the information to complete them On June 22, I called to clarify how long the appointment would take so I could schedule my day and was told there is no record of any appointment and the next available appointment would be July 31. When I got angry, she said she would squeeze me in at the appointment time I had been given, but that the doctor may not be able to see me until she's seen her other patients and may not be able to give me the usual "new patient" time. I turned down the offer to spend a day in a waiting room to possibly be seen. The level of aggravation this has induced counteracts any health benefits of seeing a doctor and Dr Breznay may be the world's best doctor, but she is useless if you can't get to see her. Although each department has it's own unique style of irritant, every interaction I have ever had at any department of Maimonides has been a source of aggravation .

Dr. Reisner is always rushed. She does not listen well and is dismissive and patronizing. Her…read morebedside manner is terrible. She does not take time to read medical documentation. She misdiagnosed 2 people I know--one with cancer that she did not have. She diagnoses without following the proper protocols and tests. She tends to hire people in-training who don't have a clue what they're doing. The examining rooms and bathroom are not clean. There were used needles on top of the paper covering on the examining table. No one washes their hands. They just wear the same gloves from room to room. No universal precautions are taken, even during the pandemic. All staff are supposed to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds upon entering the examination room, put on a clean pair of gloves and before leaving the examination room, wash their hands again after taking off the gloves in a sanitary manner. This is supposed to be carried out for every patient to avoid spreading viruses and infections. I do not recommend Dr. Reisner. She has too many patients and needs to hone her listening and professional medical skills.

He typically responds within the hour. Staff is super friendly. Whether your visit is in person or virtual, it's never rushed. He keeps things light, which always makes you feel comfortable sharing with him. Are you looking for a doctor to push prescriptions or not ask the hard questions? Wrong guy.
