This review is for the campus in Tempe, AZ. I cannot stress how remarkable this program was. I…read morehighly recommend it for career changers and working professionals who need to make the transition sooner rather than later. While it helps to have some natural study skills or to be reasonably good at tests, I hadn't been to in person classes in more than a decade and was concerned about being an older student. My concerns were completely put at ease from day one. Every instructor was both friendly and incredibly capable, knowing the content and the field with a depth of knowledge that only comes from years--and often decades--in the field. While the content was understandably intense and the volume of knowledge overwhelming, the course leaders were constantly checking in and offered extra instruction, guidance and support as needed. The skills staff brought youthful enthusiasm as well as a wealth of knowledge, too, and while that was the area I was most concerned about, we had structured time to practice until I felt 100% at ease. Instructors and staff were easily accessible, patient to a fault and always willing to help. As a career educator myself, I felt impressed by their ability to teach for hours and then stick around to help with skills practice and other needs as they arose. Finally, the reason I initially picked the program proved powerful: the all-inclusive nature. I have ADD and knew I might struggle to follow through on things like registering for the NREMT, or to create the appropriate accounts or know how to focus on which study aids. I also hate cooking and preferred to pick a program that included food so that this subject would be taken care of ahead of time. If you are truly focused on a quick turn around from education to job, this is the best option. Food was included, we got incredible discounts on local hotels nearby, PocketPrep was a lifesaver as I prepped, and every step was not only laid out for us, but we were taken through them together. I cannot emphasize the holistic nature of the program enough. I paid more versus other programs for "white glove service," and I got it--right down to the provided voucher to take the NREMT test itself. Thankfully, I passed the NREMT in 70 questions on the first try. If you can keep up for two weeks of your life and cut out all distractions, then the Unitek EMT Boot Camp is for you.

This is my second time taking part in a DIY project here…read more Last year, my daughter made an 11 x 16 inch charcuterie board and I crafted a pretty French Flourished 25 X 25 inch wall clock. I love both of these stylish and useful items! Last Saturday, Nov 23rd, I introduced my girlfriend to this wonderful workshop where she created a tic tac wooden game board and a I, a personalized 18 x 18 inch pillow case for a holiday gift. It is a smooth process from booking to completing your session. After On line, you select your craft, your customization (if you choose to) work date and payment. Confirmation will be sent to you via email. The owner and director, Tanya is so friendly and polite! She answers inquiries over the phone and offers helpful suggestions. She preps everything ahead of time so you just need to show up. Lettering, paints, tools, a clean workspace is ready for you. We had fun working alongside others who were working on their own projects. After a couple of hours, we left with a sanded, painted/stained game board complete with pieces and a ready to use customized pillow case. It really was a fun, inspiring time out! My friend was so impressed she is going back for the chunky knit blanket workshop.

Within 2 weeks of the first conversation with Deborah, I was enrolled (red flag) I didn't realize it then but their sales pitch was the most predatory I've ever heard. Compliments like "I can already tell you'd be good at this", "Sounds like you've got a good ear", things like that. They pushed their alumni's recording credits a lot, it was a primary reason I decided to go. One of their students helped mix a record I really love, and they preyed on that so hard. What they didn't say is that the vast majority of graduates don't wind up staying in audio long. Most of the people I went to class with are not actively working in audio, and many said that they left CRAS underprepared and miserable. Their approach is to force feed the information as quick as possible, using staff and teachers that epitomize ego and callous indifference. They do not care if you graduate. They do not care if you're struggling. They do not care about their students, period. It's a power hungry organization stuck in their old ways. They can kick you out for missing a single day of class, and thats exactly what they did to me. While some instructors were truly fantastic, for every good one there were 4 bad ones at least. And when you finally did ask for help, they'd either miss the point entirely or completely ignore you. I urge the school to be better. For all the resources you guys have, you are the furthest thing from teachers, even instructor is a compliment. I didn't walk away from CRAS with anything but massive student debt and severe depression. Kirt, Brock, and all other CRAS staff, be better.

I recently completed an EMT course with Andrew . While they possess a commendable depth of…read moreknowledge, my experience with the course was less than satisfactory. One major concern was the lack of support and the dismissive attitude from the instructor, Andrew. Whenever I sought help, I was told to refer back to the textbook, even though the material was extensive and complex. This approach made it difficult to navigate the course effectively. There were also inaccuracies in the exam questions. When I brought one such error to his attention, I received a rather negative response instead of constructive feedback and told, "well the correct answer is in the book". When he is the one giving the students the slides and information. Keep in mind this book is 2,000 plus pages of information in 2 weeks it is very unlikely you would fish out an answer out of the book. You should feel confident with what your professor is providing you on the sides. Additionally, communication was an issue. I reached out on multiple occasions--three separate times--without any response. It was only after I mentioned the possibility of leaving a negative review that I finally got a response, which felt quite unprofessional. Moreover, during a practical evaluation, I was pressed for time despite explaining that I needed a bit more practice with everyone else having had an additional day of instruction. The response I received was dismissive, and it felt like my concerns were not taken seriously. I told Andrew to please give me 30 more minutes since everyone else had an entire day to review theirs and I was told "no you had three weeks to review " when the course had began only three weeks ago so he expected us to know how to do a medical examination without ever practicing one before? This greatly impacted my first attempts on my practical and medical evaluation. Keep in mind I was not a lazy student and did all my assignments, passed my final for the class and Trauma. With my child being in the hospital, the money I invested, and the amount of time I put in... I expecting more professionalism and I would never have left this review if there was clear communication from the start. In summary, while the course content was valuable, the lack of support and professionalism significantly impacted my overall experience. I believe in being honest and fair in my review and I wish nothing but the best for anyone in this course going forward and I hope you have a better experience than I had.
