Nice friendly coffee house located next to Kirchhoff bakery. They have a good selection of coffee, lattes, etc ... and a good selection of teas Great place to stop and pickup your drink before shopping around town.

This Etcetera location has a different vibe, but it's still great! Good coffee, great service, and one of the cutest streets in 100 miles. There is a little boutique in the front half of the the store, walk through all of the soaps and dresses to get back to the coffee. Or, take some time to look through the boutique! The employee specials are usually fun, but I'm just a plain coffee guy. They do a great job of trying to remain local and green...lots of chances to reuse and recycle. Of course, the beautiful pairing is something from next door in Kirchoff's Bakery. Get some type of snack, log in the Wifi (or bring a book), and then grab your drink. A great spot on a great street in a great town.

Friendly helpful staff. Numerous choices and proper add-ons. The Breve was spot on as was the Double Cubano shot. Orders came quickly and were correct. Clean!!! Located in a beautiful spot within an eccentric clothing store and next to a fantastic deli in Downtown close to the river front. My first visit so a 5 star is reserved for consistent service over time.

We love this place! Whenever we go to Paducah (once or twice each month) we stop here to enjoy one of their wonderful concoctions (as well as checking out Kirchhoff's deli & bakery next door). Also we ensure we get our stamps to save up and get a free coffee! (I couldn't find the daily coffee flavors on the website or this site so I've added a photo).

My friend and I landed a cup of joe here when we went to Kirchoff's bakery for lunch. located adjacent to Etcetera Squared. Kirchoff's was a bit too noisy for our liking, therefore, we went next-door to the coffeehouse to partake in a cup while consuming our lunch (see Kirchoff's review). Being the day before Thanksgiving and beautiful weather, people were out and about patronizing local businesses (yea!) There was only ONE table left in the coffeehouse, so I snagged it and hopped in line. This coffeehouse has all the standard coffeehouse favorites, but something unique is, they serve bubble tea, as well! My family loves that stuff. I'm not much of a tea drinker, so I cannot speak on it, but I'm sure it was great! I ordered an Americano with a dash of hazelnut syrup. I do not like sweet coffee on the regular, so a dash was all I wanted. I'm sure he prepared it just as I asked for it, but it was still a little on the sweet side for me. I did, however, go ahead and drink it as the coffee flavor was good and the cup was warm - exactly what I'm looking for in a good cup of coffee. Inside the coffeehouse, there was a small retail section of what appeared to be local goods (i.e. soaps, boutique clothes, jewelry, etc.) All in all, it was a fun place to hang out with my girl and just soak up my hometown and the booming downtown businesses all while enjoying quality coffee.

The coffee and tea drinks were quite good, and a nice accompaniment to the Kirchhoff's snacks.

Instead, it ended up being one of the more disappointing bakery experiences I've had. We walked in to a display case that was almost empty and a line that felt more like a suggestion than anything organized. After waiting longer than expected, I ordered a French cake donut--what I received was surprisingly small, closer to a sample than something you'd expect to pay for. The service, though, was the real standout--and not in a good way. The employee helping us seemed clearly annoyed from the start. Basic, reasonable requests were met with visible irritation, and the overall attitude made it feel like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. That kind of interaction sticks with you more than the food does. What really added to the confusion was noticing trays of fresh, better-looking donuts behind the counter as we were leaving--none of which were available or mentioned while ordering. Yes, the prices are lower than other places, but the portions reflect that, and the service makes it hard to justify even a quick stop. I can understand people having fond memories of this place, but based on this visit, it doesn't hold up.

This one popped up so I stopped in. I guess there are multiple rooms here, one part is a restaurant and then there is a bakery. I only was in the bakery. They have a lot to choose from. Some stuff is sitting on the counter in the open which was odd and at one point I thought maybe they were samples but they were full sized items so I think they were for sale. Anyway I decided to order a few items. I ordered some kind of brownie. I think it was called the all good bar. It's a brownie with walnuts in it, then a peanut butter layer on top of it and a layer of chocolate ganache on top of that. It's a buckeye in brownie form and it's amazing. It could easily go into the way too sweet territory but it doesn't. It's perfect. One or two bites satisfies a sweet tooth. So I took a few bites over 2-3 days. I wish I had more. I also ordered I think it was called a basket. It was pastry puff dough in a rectangle with cream cheese in the center and very thin slices of apple on top. I brought that home and heated it up in our airfryer for 3-4 minutes and let me tell you it was one of the best things I've eaten all year. And I've had some really delicious food this year. I wanted to cry. It was that good. Unbelievable. I wanted to scarf it down and also take my time because I didn't want to not have it. The last thing I bought was a two pack of their iced shortbread cookies. They were right by the register and maybe on sale and I figured why not. These took me back to childhood. There was a bakery near us in Ohio called 'taste and tell'. They had the best iced cookies. I'm 43 and I still think about them. That place closed probably 30 years ago? I took a bite of these cookies and time traveled to 'taste and tell'. Whatever recipe they use is the same. They are so good!! Out of the three items I bought I didn't have a favorite because everything was amazing in its own right. The brownie was rich and sweet and decadent and had crunchy and creamy and perfection. The basket was 10/10 pure heaven and the cookies were a blast from the past of one of my favorite childhood treats. I'm both sad and happy that this place is so far from me because i want to be there everyday. I will definitely be back to empty the bakery case and also to try and sandwich or soup or real food too.
