I have to admit I have a tattoo and piercing addiction, but I love it. With that being said I have been to A LOT of tattoo shops in Orlando and I have to say this was one of the best experiences I've had at a tattoo shop as a last minute walk-in. My friend and I were at Kavasutra and decided last minute that we should get a tattoo for heck of it. We walked in at around 2:30 and were greeted by Jacob, he told us that he was busy at the moment but they would be able to make time for us in about an hour. After about 30 minutes they DMed us to come in earlier. They listened to our design ideas involving our astrological sign and they matched our mental images perfectly! We were there for probably 45 minutes in total and then we were done. The tattoos came out super cute and just how we wanted. I also got a chance to meet with Christy to ask her a few question about my septum piercing that was done wrong a few years ago that I haven't been able to remove or move around at all since. She was super helpful and gentle and informed me she would help me take it out. I came back 2 days later to finally get it removed and she did it super quickly and it was super painless. This was the most delightful experience I have had with a piercer involving the messed up septum. I have been to many other places who refused to remove it or tried to by yanking it out... OUCH. So this experience was so great that I almost cried, the piercing had been causing me so much pain for the longest time and to finally have it removed was a blessing. She also had a great selection of jewelry and helped me pick out a new nose ring and helped putting it on too. If you're ever in the area and want a new Tat or Piercing Jacob and Christy are amazing! I completed the first session for a back cover up 6-3-23. The artists were great, they supported each other to make sure the client got the best service and product for their needs. I saw this as I was waiting for my coverup work to begin. Ed was my artist. I visited many tattoo shops over a 3 month period looking for an artist to cover the tattoo on my back from 30 yrs ago. The first artist at EDT stated that he would ask if any other artist could ink what I wanted. I was impressed because most artists say yes. Eddie set an appointment for me to come back and map it out. He was amazing, so I put a deposit down. Within a week Ed had created the exact art I was looking for. I came the next Saturday and was blown away by how awesome the service and ink that was done for my coverup. Do not go for a piercing by Christy!!!!! Wish I could give this business zero stars. My roommate and I are college students in the Orlando area. Today was our only day without classes and we each wanted piercings. We arrived at Eternal Devotion Tattoos at 1:00 PM. One employee in the shop said that the piercer wasn't going to be there until 2:00. So we stayed local and waited at a local restaurant. We came back at 2:00 and the piercer wasn't there. She did not arrive until 3:10. She greeted us and told us she would print out the paperwork for us to sign and she went to the back off the shop. At 3:50 she came up to us and said she couldn't pierce us because the computer was down. She said if we would like we could come back tomorrow. She had no empathy for us and did not even offer a discount which would be the bare minimum for a paying customer, that had been waiting for 3 hours. Thanks for wasting our entire day. today I had an appointment with Christy at 4 that I made via her online booking site. I arrived a 3:55 and told a tattoo artist I had a 4:00 appt with her, he said "she will be right with you" although he did not actually tell her I was there. about 15 minutes later she came out from the back to grab some jewelry from the display and wouldn't even make eye contact with me, let alone acknowledge me. I could have started on my paperwork, a greeting would have been professional.. but no she retreated back to her room. where I waited until 4:40 and then just left, because my time isn't as important I suppose. one artist did let her know I was waiting around 4:30, and nothing. it sucks to even write this because I've been to her before and she really is a talented piercer and seems kind. so I'm not sure why the shitty treatment today, but it was extremely unprofessional. I dont see the point in making appts just to be kept waiting 40+ minutes, plus she had my number when I booked so a heads up would have been professional as well, guess that's asking too much. read more
