The whole process was very easy. At the time I was communicating and setting up the appointment I didn't realize that I was talking directly to the owner. Peschi as a very great guy! He fit me my daughter and her friend in to do four piercings. He takes his time and marks you up and let you look before piercing. He likes to make sure you are happy with everything. Brought our daughter (3 months) to get her ears pierced because I did not want her to get it done at a mall with a piercing gun. The owner, Chris took care of us. Piercing baby's ears is not easy! I'm glad we trusted Chris to do it. He was super patient and friendly and everything was very clean! I would not recommend coming here. I picked the spot for the good reviews, and asked him to do a very simple design of an airplane. I told him the most important part was that the lines were as thin, crisp, and symmetrical as possible. when he started the needle, he immediately started having issues and subsequently ignored them. I asked if everything was okay, he brushed me off and kept going. I hated how it looked the second he was done. Pointed out some uneven spots, he said it would sharpen up once i took the bandage off (the one he hadn't even put on yet) while he was tattooing my friend, he spoke about how he was never going to use those new needles again. the one he had just used on me. It came out really poorly, especially for a small simple thing. especially for a "professional". I will be going to a real professional in a month to touch it up & make it look like it was not someone's first time tattooing. I honestly don't know where to start! Moving here from the Bay Area, I didn't have a place I would go to for piercings. I am so happy I came across Habitual Ink. I got my first tattoo (a birthday present to myself) and Spider did a great job and made me comfortable through the entire process. I'm very pleased with his artwork. I've not been in other tattoo parlors but this was fine. I'm more interested in the finished product than the ambiance. Although...one of the other artists was watching videos about the history of languages, the Bible, and angels that was so loud I couldn't think about anything else. Maybe that wasn't a bad thing. We drove a while to get here because of how good we saw it was, and they didn't disappoint! We were recommended this place to have my little ones ears pierced. We made the mistake of going elsewhere and they were pierced at an angle. Unfortunately one of them got infected and we had to take the earring out. We came here to get it fixed the owner treated us like family and took care of my little girl with minimal tears. This was definitely one of my best experiences and I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to get any sort of piercing. Overall the shop is clean friendly and welcoming. We were there a little longer than expected and felt welcome the entire time we were never rushed and all questions were answered thoroughly. My regular tattoo/piercing place was closed, and I didn't want 5o lose my nerve so I'm so happy I found this place! I walked in about 25 minutes before closing, complaining that my previous nipple piercings were super painful, and that I was wondering if they could help. The guy at the front counter was super helpful, and referring me to the cutest young lady ever, who explained the process to me and made me feel at ease! She informed me that my piercing was displaced, and that she would pierce a little closer to the areola. I barely felt a pinch and it was done! She took me to a really private area in the back of the shop, played music, and talked to me the entire time. It was $8] for 2, and I got the recommended cleaners as well (total with tip was $125). I flew to Florida from Las Vegas just to have LA do my ink. Granted LA is my nephew. Worth the time and effort to get to him though. The staff at Habitual Ink are extremely friendly and make you feel at home. LA did an amazing job on my tattoo. One sitting, a near 6-hour project. I couldn't be happier though. Met Presto while I was there as well and he's a really cool guy. He and LA bounce ideas off each other well. The place is very clean. Very professional. My daughter and I went there while we were in Florida for work because the artist that did her previous two tattoos was there.... or so we thought, but since that artist didn't have a new place, she recommended this shop. We spoke with the owner and he had just the right artist for us. Jeisson was so accommodating to my daughter's busy schedule, he is a super sweet young man and his work is truly incredible! We are both highly impressed by his work! I was so impressed, I had him do one for me as well. It is hard to find artists that can pick up on your vision quickly and execute it and that is what he did for me. Note: we live in Wisconsin! We came home with fresh ink and are just amazed and in awe of how excellent of a job Jeisson has done. Look at the pictures. They do not do justice to the precise nature he has when it comes to his art. He is a true artist. I love my daughter's tattoos, I love mine, I love the clean up job he did on me as well. Had my cartilage pierced. Very pleasant, professional, & seemed very clean.... I did all the aftercare I was instructed to do, was very careful. But it was infected from day one. I went 3-4 days, had to have the jewelry CUT out of my ear, my medical provider prescribed one antibiotic but after 36hrs it was still getting worse, I had a procedure done to drain the puss from my swollen ear, incisions front and back, and the wounds had to be kept open for 3 days to let the ear drain. I was put on a second antibiotic for a different type of bacteria that is more rare and not part of our normal skin flora... that one has improved it. Thank God because they said the next step was hospital admission. The medical provider said it was most likely from the time of piercing. I'm bummed because I really liked the guy who pierced it but Uhg, worst experience ever afterwards! read more

Our 5 year old daughter has been dying to get her ears pierced. After some research and a phone conversation with Chris explaining his process. We decided to go up there to check it out. While we were waiting our daughter was very nervous. However, Chris was perfect in relating to our daughter. My first tattoo from them was good it was okay so a yea later I got another done from the same Guy. I showed the tattoo, very simple, little not no shading. And when it saw it when it was done it was so dark too much shading all over the tattoo, it felt like a prank. I had a friend go to get a tattoo and the tattoo artist he had would take multiple breaks up to 45 minutes at a time to go smoke, blasting music also, it was so unprofessional. The tattoo took more than 6 hours to do which is ridiculous for the type of tattoo it was. They've always seemed a little unprofessional to me. To parents of a minor: A HEADS UP! To get your child's ears pierced you will need their birth certificate and a notarized consent form from the Florida Dept of Health. Thank god that I called and spoke to Chris prior to driving across town to see him. Now that I've given that alert, a real review. Chris was so kind and gentle with my 8yo. He explained every step of the process to her, made us both feel safe, and really pushed that he wanted to be sure we were happy with the result. I believe he said he used to be a deputy and it showed. He's incredibly good with kids. He also explained the difference with how a place like Claire's or piercing pagoda does it; and I'm SO glad we didn't go there. (Thank you to my friend that suggested a tattoo/piercing parlor instead.) It was very clean, everything was used for the first time and opened in front of me. I highly recommend Habitual Ink for anyone looking to get their childs ears pierced. Finding a place that didn't pierce with a gun, and pierced minors was a challenge, low and behold, they were right around the corner from my home. Chris was not only accommodating to my schedule, he was hands down THE BEST with my anxious 7 year old. My daughter is so excited she got to choose her earrings. Chris offered her a choice of stuffed animal to squeeze during and candy afterwards- oddly she declined both. He was very thorough explaining the process to her and talking to her during. First off don't use online booking if you aren't capable of updating and accurately tracking the app appointment. Second as I got to shop there was no formal greeting only "do you have an appointment" when I said yes and told them with Spider. They oddly looked at me as if I was insane and said he's not in town... I told them I had used their Online app and that set off a cascade of negative comments from several other staff members. Obviously no one knows how to use it or update it. At this point, disappointed as I was, I was willing to leave but the one helpful person called spider and set up an early appointment for Monday... following making a deposit for the appointment I was given spider's cell # and texted him the photo and design ideas, then it became a discussion on how he would not be able to do this work in the allotted time... I was explained that they don't like to rush, I understand perfectly, but I have large more detailed tats that took far less than 6 hours to do. Anyhow I don't know if the work here is great, but the customer service and finer planning details are not. Can't tell you wether to use this place or not if you are local but don't waste your time if you aren't.. my experience would follow along with all the other 1 ratings that seem to show this shop has tendency to talk people out of things they don't want to do, also the other person in my party was going to get some work done to add to an arm piece and booked along with myself, the online app booked that wrong as well, and because it was just some add on stuff the artist that was asked about doing it clearly told the guy helping us he wasn't interested in "messing with that stuff".... this is not a review that condemns them only illustrates the clear issue of pattern problem with the artist there. Very unprofessional! I was explaining to the guy about how I wanted my tattoo and he asked why do I want that? And just started laughing at me. He then told another person to do it and told me to explain to the other person. As i was explaining to the other person, the previous guy started laughing like it was a dumb tattoo. WOW Preston absolutely killed my tattoo. I fell in love with it immediately. He took his time and did every line of the tattoo with care. The color is vibrant and beautiful. Came in on my 18th Birthday to get my nipples pierced with a friend. Melissa knew we were both super nervous and let us take as much time for a break as we needed! She let us look at the first one to make sure we were happy and was very patient with two scared teenagers ! She explained the whole process from start to finish so there was no surprises and took her time to make sure they were perfect definitely didn't rush through it like my other piercers have done at other places ! She even gave me the diamond style bars for no charge because it was my birthday ! We both paid 80$ for the piercings and 10$ for aftercare which lasted me 3 months.
