Eternal Timepieces has both my great appreciation and my future patronage. I made the mistake of first taking my beloved broken ship's bell clock to a nearby and better-known competitor who took three weeks to give an estimate that was more than three times the price of the clock, itself. I left thinking I'd have to start saving for another bell clock when I recalled Tom of Eternal Timepieces who had previously done an excellent job adjusting one of my Swiss watches... and took the clock there. Upon my arrival, I was surprised when they immediately opened up the clock and examined it thoroughly before giving me a very reasonable estimate. I was told it should be ready in four weeks. After that time, I received a call and was told Tom was having some trouble adjusting the clock to his standards and requested a bit more time. A week after that, I was called and told the clock was ready. I was charged exactly the amount of the estimate and now that I've had the clock back for several weeks, I have been just astounded at how accurately and perfectly he adjusted the clock; it keeps almost perfect time... a wonderful improvement over its previous performance in which it ran a minute or two fast per week. Now, it runs at only about a couple seconds fast a day...amazing accuracy for a mechanical movement! And the chimes sound when they should and as they should. Their care and attention to detail will have me returning time and time again with both my watches and clocks. Wonderful job done at such a reasonable price. Can't say enough good things about them... but will say, thank you so very much. read more

It's now the 6th or 7th time that I was to see Tom Atkins: I needed a new crystal for another one of may collector's wristwatches (an automatic LONGINES Conquest, 18Kt rose gold). Tom explained that the nasty scratch that was bothering me could be removed by just polishing the old crystal, saving me the cost of a new one! WE had Tom out a couple of years ago to just oil to keep up on clock(Grandfather).Well I called Tom back,because the chimes were not chiming.My clock was keeping perfect time.Tom came out just lately to see if he can correct the chimes.He oiled clock ect. and left (pd over $100).The clock has not kept time since he was here.I called Tom back to tell him my clock is not keeping time,since he was here.He told me the clock is worn out.It was keeping perfect time before Tom came out 2nd time.He did not want to come back to see our clock,just worn out?Tom won't follow up his work.Our clock isn't functionable now,not even keeping time.I have to call another company,and pay again.Don't use this company-BAD SERVICE read more
