This review is late in coming because I wasnt going to give a review initially. I took a 1963 Rolex in to Norms in Jan. 2026 to have a broken stem and crown replaced. At the time Norm said it needed to be cleaned and serviced. After having the watch for about 5 weeks I got it back and after getting home found it was not running. Took it back and 2 weeks later the watch was running and keeping time but would not hand wind. I decided I was done with Norm. Now just recently I find the watch is running fast by 15 mins. which has motivated me to write this review. Before my experience with Norm the watch was keeping chronometer time and would hand wind. I would not recommend Norms for any watch related repairs. read more

We discovered Norms years ago when we went to another Jeweler (big, name brand place) to replace a battery in a watch that we had purchased there, and he said he would have to send it out for service and that it would be a few weeks before it was returned. WHAT??? So we called around and found Norms and have been going there ever since. True, it has been only to have batteries replaced in watches but let me tell you....their customer service is excellent, their workmanship is excellent and they deliver same day!! And, with a business this great, it is so important to support the smaller "Mom and Pop" shops!! We have recommended them to friends and family and we hope you will check them out as well! read more

The inside of this shop was smaller than expected but so cute! The lady that came out and helped was SO cool, decked out in silver jewelry! They helped me fix a gold chain bracelet for my husband, only took a few days and it looked brand new when I picked it up! The parking lot is a little hard to get into if it's during rush hour - Mesa drive gets pretty busy! read more

I took 6 watches in for batteries. Paid cash so I got a nice discount. One watch needed more work (in progress). Staff is very nice and clearly explains what is necessary when more work is needed. You have to love Norm's! One of the few true watch shops left in the valley. Most jewelry stores. I know. Recommend sending your watch over to norms for repair. We had an antique pocket watch from my great grandfather, and they were able to repair it as well as buff the glass and case. It looks amazing. We have also use them for simple things. Like watchbands and batteries. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I also love the fact that they are nestled between many new buildings and didn't sell out when most other businesses did. read more

Dropped off my 80-year-old watch at norm's because the second hand fell off got it back with a broken Crystal it refused to replace the crystal and finally did after an argument, after that it ran 10 minutes fast per hour and they refused to fix it, the owner was very nasty to me. I took in two watches to have batteries replaced in both and a new leather band made for one. They didn't match the color of the leather with the original and when I refused the band, the woman got very snippy then gave me the watch without the band and charged me for the leather. If I had been presented with different options and there had been better communication it could have been a great experience. Everyone I interacted with that worked there was extremely kind. I would recommend them and will continue to use them in the future. We've had a wonderful experience with Norm's Clock Repair. They were recommended to us by Sunshine Acres Boys and Girls Club, and we're so glad we followed their advice. I purchased a Howard Miller clock that they couldn't guarantee was working, but they assured us it would be worth repairing -- and they were right. The repair shop was confident and reassuring from the beginning. The warranty they provided was excellent, and when we needed to use it, they stood behind their work completely. My husband and I noticed the clock was losing time, so we called them. They gave us a helpful suggestion to try, and when that didn't resolve the issue, they immediately offered to come to our home. Brandon came out, and he was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain the mechanics of the clock in a way I could understand. I operate under the assumption rather than thinking I do not have time, it is not a priority. It puts things in better perspective. My brother recommended this little gem and couldn't be happier to find a jeweler to handle my favorite accessory pieces. The ladies and gentlemen are so sweet, friendly and efficient, not to mention honest and genuine. They fixed two of my watches under five minutes and the other one that needed a clasp replacement was ready in a few hours. Reasonably affordable so if you're like me, my watch batteries all die about the same time. Easy parking and plenty of jewelry pieces they have for window shopping or picking up while you wait. The have quite the selection of adorable old school wall clocks like the cat clocks and Rolex ones. I am not a fan of clock watching but if I had to track my time, I would trust Norm's to care for my pieces! read more

I brought in a late 60's Seiko that belonged to my grandfather for servicing but Norm's couldn't seem to get it to keep time, losing several minutes a day. I brought it in on warranty like 3 times. Each time they told me it's as good as they can get it. The final visit the guy working told me it was my fault. That "I wasn't wearing it right". and "Seiko automatics don't work on winders because they're unidirectional". I'm not a watch expert, but it sounded like a brush off to me. I took it to another shop in Scottsdale and now the watch is working perfectly. So from my experience Norm's isn't too concerned with honoring warranties. Wow! What a great gem in Mesa! They are locally family owned and operated. Norm's have been in business in downtown Mesa for over 46 years. Some fun History: Norm learned how to repair watch's in the army during WWII. He spent many years at other jobs, but always repaired watches in the evening hours from his home. In 1970 Norm and his Wife Judith opened a very small shop. Norm worked on the mechanical watch's from Timex to Rolex. While Judith concentrated on learning the brand new quartz watch's. Norm's realized that the demand for Clock repair and Jewelry repair was just as important and acquired an amazing staff to service these needs. So basically they work on everything. Norm's is qualified to work on every watch brand that you have. They are customer service oriented and strive to provide you with the best service experience possible. What is cool is that they operate on old school ethics and will treat you with respect and honesty. Norm's work on Watch's, Clock's, and Jewelry of all kinds. They also warranty all their work. Not only were they $5 cheaper / watch than just about everyone else they literally called me within 3 hours and said they were ready...! Three of them had minor issues that needed repair. I took about a $275.00 watch in for a repair estimate which took 7 days. I never got a call I was promised when I dropped it off. Their estimated cost for the repair was $185.00. Said they would have to send it out and would take up to 3 weeks. I declined and took it elsewhere. I have many very expensive watches. Normally I Send them to the manufacturer which is time consuming. Fast fix destroyed my Alter Ego Tag, the Repair's we're close to $850, they destroyed everything. Stem was broken, missing screws to the back of the watch and water got into the watch. Norm has never done me wrong. read more

Norm is awesome. I don't think there is ANYTHING he can't fix. He's really busy, but that's to be expected due to his knowledge and talent.
