We bought these installed from Bistany's 8 years ago at our last home and were very happy with the service and the product. I was the only customer today, no other cars in the lot ... the salesperson was rude and dismissive. He took no interest in what I needed. I can tell you that in my 42 years in Columbia, I don't remember ever being treated so poorly. Again, very rude and dismissive. In response to your response, Peter. Not surprising that your staff found me to be the problem, given that they rely on you for their livelihoods. Yes, I was having a bit of difficulty explaining to you what I needed for our home, and you chose not to help me sort it out.  You had a choice to be kind and helpful ... or rude and demeaning.  My sarcastic remark reflected my frustration with your lack of helpfulness.  That is the only reason we are having this conversation.  I came to Bistany's because I had been treated nicely eight years ago ... and loved the stair runners and foyer rugs that we bought. Going forward, let me recommend that you treat your customers kindly, even if they are old(er).  Or especially if they are older and not as clear and articulate as they once were.  You might be lucky and get old(er) too.

They won't give you a refund or offer discount on furniture that they do have. Very poor customer service. Moving forward going to take my business elsewhere.
