The ugly things that have been written here are ridiculous. Also, she tragically was diagnosed with an ugly disease. People should be kind and cautious of what they write.

From there we have had two face-to-face appointments, one FaceTime emergency call, and countless text messaging interactions. We have gone through a gambit of medications (I think five), before finding one that works (I'm on month four now of this med! Yay!). She is very accessible, caring, diligent. In response to other reviews, please keep in mind (readers) that interpersonal communication varies between individuals. That, and while not trying to negate feelings or experiences, some mental health diagnoses come with paranoia (or just a feeling of un-trust). I can speak from experience that on my first appointment I wanted to scream, run out of the room, etc. but NONE of it was BECAUSE of Dr. Reed--however, I did have to fight the urge to direct it at her. I won the battle that day, thankfully. Please take reviews about mental health care with a grain of salt. Anything worth doing is worth doing right and if you care about your mental health to the fullest (and understand the impact it has on others') then you'll be understanding of the possible wait times. Expect 1-3hrs for a thorough appointment (or delay).

At the time I felt too distraught to start the grief therapy work - so fast forward to a year later and I decided the final part of my healing would be the 7 week program offered in moving thru my divorce and getting to the other side. Mary was an amazing person to go through this process with. Besides being understanding, compassionate, empathic and kind - she was well informed about the process and so easy to go through the course with. I always felt heard and understood - even when things were challenging and sad for me to manage - she offered her insight as well. She was also flexible in scheduling times for us to get together as I work FT. I have recommended her to others I know also, and would I fully endorse her as a practitioner for this kind of healing work !!

My last review was so long it wouldn't post so I will attempt to make this one short and sweet…read more I met Mary Stockton last year after going through what was, for me, the most difficult couple of years. I will spare the details but, despite the fact that I am normally a very transparent person I was doing my best to cover up what I was actually experiencing. I swear she new immediately that I was feeling lost and defeated. Before starting my sessions with Mary, I had tried everything from therapy to medication but it just wasnt enough I felt like I was falling apart faster than those things could help put me back together and I had totally given up and became numb, I thought I would just have to accept feeling that way. Finally, she convinced me to work with her. At the time I really didnt know what I was getting into or what to expect, but she was such an open person and offered such a welcoming and no judgmental environment, that I felt comfortable to start the process with her. I am so grateful that I did. I will admit it was hard at first, I had to be very raw with my feelings, and lets be honest that is not always fun, but it is necessary and she is so supportive through the process. I came out the other side able to breath and it has given me tools to process feelings as they come as well. I noticed differences in how I spoke with my husband when an argument came up, and he became more receptive, I found myself speaking differently to friends when they were going through something and I was able to simply "be there" for them. So, not only did I benefit from this for myself and find healing, but I was able to apply the process to all aspects of my life and be a better mother, wife, and friend. I still go to therapy and still experience pain and grief, but thats ok, its human. I now have tools to work though those things and recommend working through this process with Mary to anyone who needs it, and honestly everyone could benefit. Thank you Mary!!!!

I figured talking to someone couldn't hurt, and I wasn't forced to go back if I didn't like it. I saw Kristin for the first time about two years ago, and I really appreciate her non-judgmental, careful way of getting you to open up. I'm not someone who talks about much, really, but this turned out to be the best investment I've made in myself. While it's expensive, it's worth it. Even just going for "maintenance" sessions is helpful. I started off every other week, but that wasn't enough, so I went once, sometimes twice a week for a couple of months. After that, I was able to use the tools she gave me in the real world, and the benefits really stick. You matter to people in this world, so you have to matter to yourself too.

I was searching for a local practice where I would feel safe, heard, and supported--and I'm grateful I found Wave Therapy. From my very first phone call, the entire team treated me with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The quality of care has exceeded my expectations. My therapist has created a safe, compassionate environment where I feel understood and supported as I continue my healing journey.
