The sweetest spot for some dope finds!! I was happily surprised by the good vibes I picked up immediately as I walked in. The person behind the counter was lovely and the puppy in the back came out and greeted us. There were so many things to look at and enjoy - from home decor to clothing and jewelry and accessories to furniture, this spot has something for (almost) everyone.

    Great vintage dresser

I was looking for a nice vintage dresser and had went to several other shops before stopping at Etoile, saving them for my last stop because thankfully they have later hours. I found exactly what I was looking for along with several other things! Great shop, good prices, really professional & knowledgeable staff.

The best Vintage store in Orlando! They even sell tons of handmade items (the candles are my favorite). Worth checking out for sure!

It's a cool concept; however, I can find the same quality/condition vintage clothing at Goodwill or Salvation Army!

I've been back a few times since but on my first visit I met the owner, Fallon (sp?), who was super nice and very helpful.

However, I found the exact same hat (same brand, size, and model) on the official website being sold for $52. This is the regular retail price, not a discounted sale price (photos below). Besides, I bought another thing which the owner didn't know about the price and charged me expensive.

They have a fantastic collection of home furnishings, retro decor, vintage fashion & handmade accessories by Hotsie Totsie Vintage, and even carry products by some of Orlando's most talented local makers. They are constantly posting new tables, chairs, bedroom furniture, sofas, desks, shelving, bar carts, etc. You'll also find vintage art, vases, glassware, brass figurines, sculptures lamps and more! One of these days I'll get my hands on my dream pink vintage vanity set. They had one a few months ago and it went quick! This shop is definitely worth browsing through the next time you find yourself in the Ivanhoe neighborhood. You can also shop a section of their goodies at The Owl's Attic in Audubon Park!

Inside, you'll find the boutique up front with a private event space toward the back, and outside there's plenty of comfy seating that's great for hanging out or hosting an outdoor event. The store has something stylish for everyone...women's, men's, and even baby clothes (the children's section is in the cutest van out back!). The walls are decorated with locally sourced, one-of-a-kind art pieces, and they also sell beautiful homeware. It's one of my favorite places for gifts. Whether it's a gorgeous candle or a custom charm necklace made from their charm bar for permanent jewelry. And the events here? SO much fun! They host the most unique and artsy workshops including floral arranging, vintage candle making, diy perfume and more. I went to a vintage candle class by Nadine with some friends, and we had the best time. They also offer other fun classes like yoga and boxing. You can find all the upcoming events and workshops on their website, and they even rent out the space for private events. It's truly impossible to visit House on Lang and not feel right at home. You'll leave with things you never knew you needed! Christie, the owner, is so friendly and helpful. Definitely ask for her opinion or advice, she has amazing taste. Such a special place, highly recommend checking it out!

One of the reasons it's my favorite shop is because of how curated it is. There's a smaller home section with a huge selection of dishes and fine china. There's also other good home finds as well. The clothing section is good, but not so large it's overwhelming. I love the designer section, there's always something good there. Additionally, they just added a trinket trade box to the store, so be sure to check that out!!

4 Stars for a great cause to support with your donations and some great finds!…read more When I was looking for an ethical organization where I could donate items I don't use anymore, I was so thrilled to find Out of the Closet. According to their website, Out of the Closet Thrift Store (OTC) was founded in 1990 to help raise funds and awareness for AIDS Healthcare Foundation. When you shop or donate at Out of the Closet, 96 cents of every dollar made goes to AIDS Healthcare Foundation's HIV prevention and treatment services. Dropping donations off is very easy- you pull up just past the front retail door to another closed exterior door which has a sign to ring a bell for assistance. From there someone comes out to receive the donations. As a thrift shop, I've been able to find a great furniture piece as well as a few tops. They have lots of clothes and some home goods, depending on the week. With that said, it's not the best thrift store in terms of inventory and pricing, but you know you're supporting a good cause and there are some hidden gems. I'll keep donating here and perusing for some fun thrift finds!
