Friendly service and great food inside 5th Street Public Market. We went untraditional with chicken sandwiches, and the grilled chicken with garlic mayo, avocado, tomato and pepper Jack was one of the BEST I've had. My daughter had the fried chicken with special sauce, lettuce and pickles and she enjoyed hers too. Definitely recommend the ranch for your fries. I also had a nojto (NA mojito) and it was as good as he real thing - thoroughly enjoyed!

I hadn't heard of the Eugene Burger Company but am always on the lookout for more great burger places. Especially in a different city for me. We needed a burger and found Eugene Burger Company in the 5th Street Mall food court area. It's located on the upper level of the small mall along with about 4 other restaurants which shared the common seating area. We had a couple of smashburgers and another in our party had the 1/3 pound burger. The menu walks you through a 4 step process when ordering so you basically customize your burger and sides. I like this option but it makes for a lot of choices and I like it all so it can take me awhile to order. I had my burger with the tots which were weirdly lightly colored. Usually tots are more of a golden brown. These were like a very light brown. They tasted fine though. My wife had sweet potato fries which were served waffle style which is fun. My daughter had the beer battered fries which were my favorite of the three. The smashburgers were fine and weren't the Oklahoma style with onions embedded in the meat so they tasted more like regular burgers. We all enjoyed our food and the service and will definitely return here again.

Odd... I know I did a review for Eugene Burger when I ate here a few weeks ago. But no review. Wonder if it was deleted for some reason? Burger was good... onion rings were good (even though they were from frozen, per the staff, not hand dipped). Service was good. Luckily I still had a photo on my phone...

My husband and I both got the smash burgers and they were so good. He ordered the fries and I went with the onion rings and everything was delicious. The owner was super personable and friendly and the service was quick. We also loved being able to sit at the bar. Overall such a great vibe with amazing food. We will definitely be back.

Came here for lunch. Ordered their crispy chicken sandwich with cajun fries. The order was ready fairly quickly. The sandwich was really tasty. Crispy on the outside & juicy and flavorful inside. Fries complemented the sandwich. Service was good as well. Would recommend.

Inside a small food hall, Eugene Burger Company lets you build your own burger with any side. I ordered the 1/3 pound of burger with cheddar cheese, grilled jalapeno, pickles, lettuce, and onions with garlic mayo. It was decent. My side was their Caesar salad and it was good. The blueberry hard cider on tap hit the spot!

The burger is a good value. When I am paying for bacon I don't like having to deconstruct the burger to find it, and unfortunately that is what I had to do with this burger. Other than that the atmosphere was great, the service was friendly. As you will notice in the picture the meat patty was great, the pickle, tomato and lettuce all high quality. I will definitely be back.

Visiting from Portland for a concert, my traveling companion and I were craving a burger and decided to try Eugene Burger Company based on some of the reviews. Located inside Eugene's 5th Street Public Market you'll find the most delicious burgers and sauces made by owner Travis, his wife and crew. Double smash with cheddar, special sauce & roasted garlic mayo - all made in house. So good! Travis was very knowledgeable about food allergies. The buddy I was with is gf and df and Travis was able to help get him set up with a toasted gf bun and toppings that were safe. Well done all. Looking forward to stopping by again on our next trip to Eugene. Mike & Brad

Great service and wonderful food! The smashburger was near perfect. Get Cajun beer battered fries with homemade ranch for the win.

Is it normal for a restaurant to refuse ranch dressing on a wedge salad? Happened here, Blue Cheese only, so dumb...

Excellent local oddity. What kind of restaurant is it? Yes, exactly! The centerpiece of the menu is…read morean array of loco mocos, but it's not a Hawaiian restaurant - there's no Hawaiian decor or anything, and nothing else from the Aloha State on the menu. There are pancakes all day, but it's not a breakfast restaurant - it isn't even open early in the morning. There are burgers with interesting ingredients like bulgogi beef and kimchi, but it doesn't seem to go for a Korean theming. "Burger" is in the name, so I guess that's what they're trying to emphasize, but those are just a small part of the menu. And there's a lot of ice cream flavors, too. If anything, I'm guessing that someone in this neighborhood likes burgers, loco moco, Korean food, ice cream, and pancakes, and decided to open a restaurant dedicated to all of them. And more power to them - you don't need a theme if you do everything else this damn well. The one thing about this place that's consistent is that it's all good. And affordable, and staggeringly fast. Three consistent things, then.

Ordered up a double, asked that the sweet pickles come in the side because I am more of a dill pickle kind of guy. Food came out quick and everything on the burger looked very fresh. Gave the sweet pickles a taste and quickly added them to my burger, they were yummy!! This might be my first burger I have ever ate without ketchup. The flavor of the burger, sweet pickles, veggies, and cheese was by far enough and ketchup was not needed. Not a huge dining space but it did look well kept and the music playing was a nice touch, not overwhelming. Happy Cow has a new fan!! Keep it up oh..the fries were good, if eating with someone else be sure to split one order of fries.
