My sons Roommate was still eating his Caesar salad when the waiter took his plate away.
    Rena H.

Got seated, ordered, got our food, ate and got the bill and paid it all in 40 minutes. I've never been so rushed before. I ordered the pork chop and beet salad. My son got the 8 ounce filet and french fries and his roommate got the Caesar salad. I have no idea how it tasted because me and my son and his roommate felt very rushed. Our waiter kept asking if we were done and if we needed containers. The hostess took my son's roommate Caesar salad away while he was still eating. We had reservations and they weren't busy. So what gives?!! So I had no idea why they were trying to get rid of us so fast. Note to self, when I want steak in Eugene, I'll find another Steak House and I'll make sure to tell everyone that visits my son and his roommate to go anywhere but Kennedy's.

Visiting from Las Vegas, my husband wanted to take me to a nice dinner. He chose Kennedy's and I'm so glad he did! The ambiance was beautiful and cozy, our waitress Olivia was attentive and kind, and the food was spectacular! I ordered the 14oz Ribeye and my husband ordered the Kennedy steak which is a filet mignon topped with crab and shrimp. The creamed corn was some of the best I've ever had...piping hot, a little cheesy and sweet at the same time. We also ordered a baked potato and the bacon that comes on it is smoky and delicious. Glad we found this classy and impressive steakhouse.

it was our first time visiting Kennedy's, and we traveled all the way from California we had the most amazing time celebrating our second wedding anniversary. We had a pleasure of having Vera as our server, she was so attentive answered all of our questions and she made such amazing suggestions. not only were we greeted with a happy anniversary personalized card and complementary prosecco , when we sat down Vera made sure to take a Polaroid of me and my husband at dinner. Such an amazing atmosphere and the food was 10 out of 10 as well. I ordered the 8 ounce filet mignon medium rare and it was perfection. My husband ordered the 14 ounce ribeye and we will definitely be returning!! both of the cuts were so tender and seasoned to perfection. The outside had a nice crust with the inside being the perfect medium rare.

Kennedy steak, baked potato and creamed corn. All delicious.

5 star all the way! Visiting from out of town and found this when googling "steakhouse near me". My wife and I were so impressed with the food, service, and vibe of this restaurant. My filet was cooked perfect and she said her ribeye was delicious. Also has a nice bar area if you wanted to sit and have a drink before dinner. Our server Olivia was great also.

Went in to celebrate my birthday! The food was phenomenal but the service was even better! Sophie was our server & she was fantastic, very friendly & checked in on us....we will definitely be back based on our experience!

Filet, Mac and cheese and asparagus. Really really really good.

This is my second review of Kennedy's in Eugene...and I continue to stand by first review...this is hands down the best steakhouse/steak in Eugene and one of the best in Oregon..I put this place ahead of Ringside located in my home town of Portland. With the exception of one bad visit (been here about 5 times)...the service is usually exceptional. The food is also fantastic..this last visit I had their special which was Waygu filet -- that was one of the top 5 steaks I had ever had (and I eat a lot of steak all across the nation!). The side of mash was amazing and the bread is always so good...the cheesecake for desert was heavenly! If you are in Eugene please give it a try...worth the time!!

We had such a wonderful time here at Kennedy's! The location is great and the restaurant itself is tastefully decorated. We made reservations via OpenTable. Arrived about 5 minutes before our time and were immediately seated. The waitstaff were professional and very friendly. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, steak and two sides. The beef tar tar was amazing and had great flavor. The temperature it was served at was perfect. Steak was phenomenal and had a beautiful crust. For our sides we decided on the asparagus and corn. I like the asparagus but loved the corn! Definitely give this place a try, we were not disappointed and will be back if ever in the area again. 5 stars all around!

Wasn't sure what to expect. Last time I was in the building it was a steelhead brewpub, now it's a delightful steakhouse. It was our anniversary and we wanted to try something new. We were greeted and seated quickly (we did have a reservation, which I would suggest). We were greeted at the table by Stacy our server and she was lovely. We ordered the sriracha shrimp appetizer (no photo, sorry) it was delicious. The bread that arrived was a fun mix of things. I ordered a dirty martini and it was prepared table-side by Canyon, who was also super friendly and fun. Our dinner arrived, delivered by Jelani, also a super friendly and fun fellow! The Kennedy's steak is an 8oz fillet mignon Oscar style with crab AND shrimp. It was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The beet salad was, by my wife's account, fresh and delicious. Marcos and Alejandro (brothers) kept our waters full and our table neat, both of them were delightful. The restaurant has a nice feel to it, including lights on the table that you can adjust to one of three settings to set the mood the way you like. It isn't cheap, but the food was fresh and fabulous and this may have been one of the friendliest restaurants I've ever visited. We finished the meal with a cheesecake and an Irish coffee... the cheesecake was lucious and the coffee was just right. Excellent experience. We will visit again!

We decided to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary at this popular Eugene steakhouse and it could not have been a better choice. We arrived early and enjoyed a drink at the bar before being seated quickly. We ordered the candied bacon, filet 8 oz, and the bone in filet 10 oz which were cooked to absolute perfection, exactly what you would hope for at a steakhouse. The brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes were equally delicious. Service was flawless and truly a 10/10. Multiple staff members congratulated us on our anniversary and the complimentary touches from the house made us feel extra special. The atmosphere is upscale so dress to impress. Prices are on the higher side but for this level of food and service it is worth every penny. This is exactly what you expect from a proper steakhouse and we will definitely be back.

We came to Kennedy's for the first time celebrating a birthday and it is safe to say we made the right choice! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The complimentary bread and butter was so good. The steak melted in your mouth and was seasoned perfectly. Savannah was taking care of us and she was excellent! The staff were so attentive, warm, and welcoming, making sure all our needs were met and our water was never empty. The chef also sent the table a complimentary dessert (cheesecake or butter cake) after hearing we were celebrating a birthday. We chose the cheesecake and it was rich, creamy, and silky smooth. The acoustics of the restaurant were good and the dim lighting made the meal very intimate. When ordering, it is important to note that the steaks are à la carte and the sides are for the table. Kennedy's treats their guests like family and would be a great place to celebrate a special occasion.

I really wanted to like this place. I went for my birthday and my steak was overcooked (medium rare became well done) and the macaroni and cheese I got tasted like it came from a box. When I said something to the waiter, I was told, "Well, I didn't recommend it" - but he didn't _not_ recommend it! The butter cake was overcooked and not good. It was disappointing, especially for the price of the meal. I came back a second time, thinking that maybe it was a fluke because I had sat at the bar. This time, the waitress was very kind, but the steak came out medium well. When you're paying $70+ for a steak and at a restaurant that claims to be a steakhouse, you expect the steak to be cooked right. Twice, months apart? I won't be back. The brussel sprouts were okay.

Went to Kennedy's while in town to visit our son and his wife. We had a 7:30 reservation and everything was ready when we arrived. Our server was Jillian who did a wonderful job throughout the meal. We started with some drinks and a pork belly appetizer. I had a smoky old fashioned and my wife a cosmo. Both were very good. For dinner we ordered 14 ounce rib eyes and a strip. They were cooked perfectly. My wife got hers Pittsburgh style which was the best. My son ordered the 8 ounce filet. We each ordered a side that easily fed all four of us. We ended the meal with the butter cake which was delicious and a great way to end the meal. Everything about Kennedy's was first class. A great family dining experience.

I'm coming back to update my review after a fantastic experience for my spouse's birthday! The drinks came quickly and the food was perfectly paced. My spouse's steak was a little overdone for their liking, the server noticed and immediately handled it by going back for a refire. She then explained that next time my spouse should order their steak blue for the doneness they like. Our server took off the dessert for the trouble, which definitely wasn't necessary but appreciated. All the food was as great as always, but I was especially impressed with our server.

One of the best ones we've ever had from a local winery here in Eugene

Of course, had my Yelp app handy and it found Bar Purlieu for me. I got there right at 4pm when they opened since it was a Friday night, 4th of July weekend so did not know if I was going to get a big crowd since I had no reservations. I ordered the following: House Chianti (excellent)!! regret that I did not take a picture of the bottle ($14) Bone Marrow Appetizer: melt in your mouth delicious ($19) Filet Mignon: delicious, it had a morel mushroom sauce and it was absolutely divine. I got it medium rare and it was perfect ($50) 6 Oyster's: very meaty and you need to ask for fresh horseradish and tabasco sauce. They only have 1 small bottle of tabasco sauce for the whole restaurant and they serve raw oysters... what??? that is insane!!! ($4.50 PER OYSTER-that is insane too but they were nice an meaty). I will definitely be back!!!! Will bring my own Costco size Tabasco sauce

Both my self and my wife have spent extensive time in Italy and know Italian quarantine very well. So we were quite interested in trying this location based on many of the reviews a the menu. This is my verdict. I ordered the LASAGNA DELLA CASA, and the Tiramisu for the desert. First the lasagna, I read the Yelp reviews on this establishment prior to ordering. For the most part the reviews were good. I read two reviews that claimed that the sauce is canned. After tasting the sauce I can guarantee that those who are claiming that the sauce is canned clearly have a pallet that is fit for judging can dog or cat food. When it comes to real cuisine they have no clue of what they are talking about. I can guarantee the sauce is hand made. Even with it being take out I can tell you that. The lasagna was very good. The sauce was outstanding, the pasta was perfectly cooked and the Italian sausage is amazing. It has a perfectly balanced flavor with a wonderful flavor of fennel, not over powering yet its presences was very enjoyable. Overall for take out I was impressed. I will definitely be returning to this location to try this dish again in a dine in experience. Now for the Tiramisu. I have eaten this dessert in Italy at some very high end restaurants. As far as the Tiramisu at Beppe & Gianni's, it is on par with the best that I have eaten in some of the best Italian restaurants in and throughout Italy. And absolute symphony of wonderfulness. Let me remind you this was a take out order, that being said I am looking forward to returning to this location for the sit down experience. When I do that, I will take photographs of the cuisine and post them. It is not fair to an establishment to take pictures of takeout. When I went into the Restaurant to pick it up, I saw the plating and it was outstanding. The takeout box just doesn't do it justice. I highly recommend this location.

Last time we came for brunch, we noticed the eggs Benedict no longer has the amazing Parmesan-crusted potatoes. The hollandaise is still decent and the focaccia bread is great, but losing that crispy crust was a big bummer. Today's visit for our usual wings and nachos was even more frustrating. First, they no longer offer ground beef for the nachos. We were told we could substitute steak, but that literally doubles the price of the dish. We opted for chicken instead, which was a steep $7 extra for maybe two ounces of meat. When the nachos arrived, they looked like low-effort, homemade oven nachos with just melted cheddar on top. The whole thing was fused together into one giant sheet of chips; we had to break it apart and manually pile the toppings back onto the chips ourselves. It was really weird. The biggest letdown, though, was the wings. It used to be a solid order of six traditional flats and drums. Today, we paid $14 for just four pieces, and they weren't even wings--they were frenched chicken thighs. Subbing a completely different, lower-quality cut of meat without telling the customer is false advertising, and they turned out dry. Plus, the sauce has changed from a traditional Frank's-style buffalo to a harsh cayenne sauce. Between the wings and the nachos, today's total came out to $34--and $40 with a tip. Paying premium prices for dry thigh meat, overpriced add-ons, and a block of fused-together nachos makes it really hard to justify coming back. I'm not sure if North Fork got bought out or what, but I really don't see a point in returning.
