We have been a patient for 12 years and love Eugene Peds! Despite a few hiccups (which are part of growing and figuring out business logistics) we have always received friendly, educated, and supportive advice around health care and child development. There have been a few miss communications regarding pharmacy/med pickups which actually wouldn't have been an issue at all, but given we live an hour away they were inconvenient. That being said, I received a genuine apology and fix. They are all human after all and it happens, but it's how you handle it that matters. I've waited tooooo long to write a review about this office! If I could give it negative points I would !! Dr. P. Bradshaw is "our" son's pediatrician. We are attempting to co-parent but insists on listening to only 1 parents family history or one parent's opinion on medical issues. She has misdiagnosed our son multiple times enough to push a major surgery our son didn't need for sleep apnea! Shoved multiple steroids down a perfectly healthy child under the pretense of having "asthma". On top of being wrong multiple times...She treats dads and involved fathers like "furniture" and "second class citizens"! So much so, on out take paperwork it said multiple times "mom and child are doing fine"...I finally noticed this blatant disregard of my attendance (99.9%) to EVERY visit far that it was made to appear like I was an "absent father". Now after "multiple" visits 30+ and politely asking to be treated the same and to be asked the same question and filing multiple complaints. I got understandably upset and defended myself and our sons health and safety due to prescribing more steroids to a child who has "0" allergies per every large multiple allergy panel taken (and some things tested multiple times) before age 5!! Because I stood up for myself as an involved father with rights and another voice for our son! I have since been BANNED from ALL pediatricians visits. My BM has refused to do what's best for our son and switch pediatricians. This favors her agenda and alienating the parent is easier since our views don't align and so basically teaming up to BAN me that day! (It's now been almost 3yrs since being able to attend an appointment). I'm not nor have I ever been in trouble domestic or otherwise or banned from ANY other medical office. I've since learned it was "unethical" for that off to ban "any" parent from medical visits. Being "adamant" and or "protective as a parent" about your childs well being isn't grounds for being banned. UPDATE: Dr. P. Bradshaw (Oct. 2025) another surgery yet again was suggested without a proper sleep apnea test off "her recommendation". FYI, if I hadn't followed up and gone to OHSU (Eugene/PDX) and spoke up yet again for our son for now a SECOND time ('20/'25) the surgery would have easily gone forward without "requiring" any form of sleep apnea test first. I've had other parents whom I've shared my experiences with having had similar experiences of her (Dr. Bradshaw) not knowing simple things (Ethnic birthmark looking bruise on an infant in this instance) and or using common sense when diagnosing children. She was also was subpoenaed in our custody (by my BM's attorney) case and failed and or was convinced NOT to show under false pretense (personal surgery an hour before appearing after our morning break) because her lawyer saw the literal BOX of evidence/violations I had in court. Terrible place they don't worry about the health of your child just of you vaccinate or not. They are very pushy and rude

Most of the staff is very nice and helpful. I would not recommend Dr Ross Newman if you plan on waiting on vaccinations or not vaccinating. He is very pushy and judgmental. The office is clean and cheerful. Scheduling is very easy and you don't often have to wait on hold for very long. They do support LGBTQ...so depending on your morals you might not want your child's doctor to be pushing gender ideology. Especially since in Oregon children can make their own medical decisions at very young age. read more

We've been taking both our kids here for years and have received thoughtful and helpful care every time, regardless of which doctor we see. Scheduling is easier than with other doctor offices we deal with. The only issue we've had is that sometimes orders for lab work get lost. But, honestly, we don't know if the issue is Eugene Pediatric's or the lab's. read more

Horrible service and practice. You will never see the pediatrician you chose for you child. They always call a week before your appointment and pass you off to someone who you have never met. Appointments are short and rushed. God forbid you have any questions about your child's care or chronic conditions because the doctor will literally start backing themselves out the door by your second question. Dr Dalton is our primary pedi but we've seen the late night doctor in a pinch. Dealing with a medically fragile child, another with some "grow with him" birth defects, we have received comprehensive and knowledgeable care every single time. We had our old pedi in California for 8 years and she was a reason that was pulling us to stay put. Every experience at Eugene pediatrics has been positive for both me and my kiddos. It's clean, I've never had ridiculous wait times, and the doctors we've seen have been fun, talk to my kids, not over them. I couldn't be happier with this practice. read more

We have had all of our children here. We have adopted several children through the foster system as well as had our own. A few of them have very high needs as they are medically fragile. They have literally saved two of our children's lives and helped us fast track into the hospital. One of our children requires specialists at Dornbecker and Dr. Bradshaw stays in contact with them so when medical bumps come up, and they do, she knows who to call to figure out the best medical plan for our current situation. We have 8 kids and we work in healthcare in a different field. 99% of the time that I call in the morning with an urgent need for an appointment for any one of them, we receive the best care. They have grown a lot as our 14 year old went there as a baby. They have added in services that work together by integrating Thrive behavior health counseling. We lost our three year old to drowning in our pool while under the care of our very qualified child care person. Some of our other children were present and all of our family has had to heal from ptsd and the complexities of our family tragedy. She was life flighted to Dornbecker and we had to let her go a few days later. Dr. Bradshaw was the first phone call we received after we arrived in our girls room. Our experience through the years has been one of smart, thoughtful, kind care that has addressed all of our children's different needs and personalities phenomenally. A family could not do better than to have this large wonderful team for their family's healthcare. The receptionists know us by name and speak to our children with respect and kindness. I read a few reviews that complained of paperwork. I fill these out every year and I have a lot of kiddos. I appreciate that they double check to make sure all is updated. I also appreciate that they have integrated a fast computer system so that our prescriptions literally get sent while we are there. Also, a lot of times the doctors have assistants so you have their full attention while another person is adding in notes and processing any further tests or prescriptions. I fill out paperwork once a year, and the rest of the year I couldn't ask for a faster, more organized updated computer system. Please take your children here and know your family, like my large one, will truly receive only the very best care around. Thank you Eugene Pediatrics!! You have saved our children's lives and continue to heal both their physical bodies and their growing minds. We are forever grateful. read more

I have only had good experiences at this practice so you can understand my surprise when I saw how lowly they "rank" on Yelp. People, on average, are quicker to share negative experiences than positive. I'm hoping to level the review playing field a bit. My children see Dr. Benz. My daughter thinks she's Super Girl in disguise. I just think she's super, period. She's thorough and friendly. She listens to the parents' opinions and observations- this is HUGE for parents of non-verbal, medically complex children. Huge. The nurses are awesome and return my phone calls promptly. The front desk staff always greets us with a smile no matter how busy they might be. I was worried when we upped and moved across the country. Finding a new GOOD doctor can sometimes be tricky. But, I can honestly say that we've found the one we love. I highly recommend this practice - especially Dr. Benz. read more

Awful. They misread my daughters weight and without second guessing their obviously faulty equipment, admitted us to the hospital. I was terrified. Turns out their machines weren't working and instead of reweighing, they sent me to riverbend. The 2 hours of wondering whether or not my infant daughter was dying or not! Turns out they misread her by a whole pound!!! Which is huge for a 5 day old infant. They hardly apologized for their mistake which took a toll on me and my husband and made me feel like a lesser human being for trying to stay positive about my daughters medical issues. My kid's dr fear mongered me about the dangers of jaundice and disregarded the fact that she was getting better. Maybe to undermine their awful mistake they made. A nice rn came and spoke to us. She insisted that we were being treated poorly and that she was embarrassed for the clinic. She referred me to other clinics that would treat me and my family with more respect. She added that my daughter was in fact thriving and would be okay and her symptoms were improving. Sounds like my dr was just trying to scare me into continually coming in to check up on her everyday, collecting more money from my insurance until it becomes too obvious that my little one is going to be just fine. I've never felt so disrespected in my life. I'm a pretty down to earth person but this was flat out the worst experience of my life. DO NOT GO HERE! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYONE THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT PATRONIZING THEIR PATIENTS (specially state insurance patients) AND MAKING THEM FEEL LIKE FOOLS ENOUGH TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM. Phone staff is unhelpful and unsympathetic. We have waited nearly a week for a signature on a sports physical. My kids didn't get their uniforms and can't participate in practice because they lack this signed paper. Physical is done but everyone avoids the paperwork according to the receptionist. There is no reason to do this to a child. Inexcusable. read more

I have two boy 16 and 7 that have been clients since the little one was a baby. The problem with this office is not with the doctors, but with how patients are treated by the receptionist in the waiting room. Dr. Bradshaw's receptionist is nice. This is the one in the other office with red hair. I brought my boys for a double appointment to see Dr. Dorsa. The Dr. experience was fine, but the experience with the receptionist was awful. She gave me several forms to sign. I kept thinking I have been with this office for seven years. Why am I writing my name over and over again seven times? Why am I giving my social security number and medical info again? I have to take out my phone and look up all the numbers while my boys grow impatient and began arguing. She tells me I must photo copy my insurance card and send it to her. I ask, "Are you making me do all of this because you're following some recent law? You already have my information? It's a lot of trouble to have to look this all up again while I have impatient kids in the room." She shrugged and said, "We're doing it every year." I say, "We come here once a year for check ups. That means I'm doing this every year. Most offices with sane policies provide me with my information and then ask me if there are any changes, so I don't have to look up everything again? The receptionist was also rude to me. My back was hurting so I was standing at the desk to fill out the papers. She says, "Can you move? I have to greet the patients coming in." There's no one in sight or anyone anywhere near the door. How about being a decent human being to the patients who are already here? I think. She says, "Oh you forgot to fill this out. Is dad not in the picture?" "What? I just forgot to fill it out?" I think, Why is this receptionist making assumptions about my personal life? What is wrong with this place? I pay huge sums of money for these visits. This office needs to get its act together and reconsider its priorities. People; not paper work! Hire staff with people skills. Consider policies that are parent and family friendly and not just friendly for sadistic staff. No other office has treated me this poorly. I've never had to start from scratch from paperwork including my emergency contact numbers!. The reception experience is the first impression and is super important. I have always been very pleased with Eugene Pediatrics. Unfortunately, due to a change in insurance, we had to switch to a different doctor's office. When my daughter became very ill, that office said they weren't able to see her. I called E.P. for a second opinion. They got my daughter in immediately and ended up admitting over night to the hospital. If it wasn't for E.P. I hate to think what could have happened. We are now back with E.P. thankfully and I couldn't be more pleased. Yesterday, they ordered blood work for my younger daughter in order to rule out something VERY serious. I was sick to my stomach all day with worry. Less than 24 hours later they called and said she is perfectly healthy. I am so appreciative that they did all they could to get me those results as quickly as they did. They knew any mother would be worried and they wasted no time in notifying me. Lastly, anytime I have called in with a question for their nurse she goes above and beyond. She makes me feel like my children matter and they aren't out to make money. The last time I called, she probably spent a half an hour on the phone with me, FOR FREE!! I highly recommend Eugene Pediatric Associates and feel extremely confident that my kids are in great hands. read more

I would not recommend this office for a number of reasons. 1) Sameday appointments are nearly impossible to get. So if your child gets ill plan for them to seen elsewhere. In our case we ended up in er multiple times with our little ones. In that case the best thing about this office we found was the after hours nurse line who happens to be out of a children's hospital in Portland. They were amazing but again all they could do was advise us to get kiddos to er. The Eugene peds office response on the difficulty getting an appointment: "oh the next day we had quite a few same day openings". Ok, so exactly how does that help unless my babies get sick when you're available?? 2) Office staff is inept and rude. During our experience and our kids lengthy illness dads work requested fmla paperwork due to his time off to help care for our kids. We dropped this off at their office. They lost the paperwork and he missed the deadline. His work extended the deadline and we have the office another set of paperwork. They did not fill it out and after numerous calls to get paperwork they eventually said the doc didn't feel like it qualified? Ok so, missing the second deadline their office refused to complete paperwork (his work gave one more deadline) and we requested records along with a nurse's note regarding their "medical concern". It was a complete joke! The didn't even include all the visits that qualified and I had to request the correct dates of service at hospital and rechecks at Eugene peds. The amount of effort put in by this office to make our experience difficult is appalling. Thankfully his employer accepted our submission of records and he wasn't disciplined or let go due to his extended time off. Shortly after my son got sick again with fever for days and not getting better, and once again they had no available appts until the following day. I decided to call omg to see if they could see him. They were able to see him a couple hours later even with him not being an established patient!! He ended up having a horrible ear infection even though he'd never pulled at his ear! I felt horrible but so so glad I didn't wait another day. Due to that experience we decided to move to omg for good. 3) Inaccurate medical records. After looking over the partial records we'd received before I noticed numerous errors. One of which was my 2 year olds vaccine record which showed a vaccine listed as being from the hospital at birth. I told them unless the hospital gave it to her without my knowledge she never had it. At one point they seemed to have corrected it but it ended up on her record again. At her checkup with omg I explained the situation and Eugene peds inaction to correct this when I once again notified them of their error. In literally less then 5 minutes the nurse had checked the hospital records, saw she never had the vaccine, updated her chart and corrected it on the state's records as well ....all without me even asking her!! I was shocked at how easy and quick it was resolved only further proving Eugene peds lack of professionalism. I have way more to say and may update when I have more time. I would never recommend this office and I would give them zero stars if that was an option. So glad we switched and wish I never had chosen them to begin with.
