I came in on Labor Day weekend and was serviced by a lovely lady. She was the only one working but she allowed me to come in as a walk in. I worried as she wouldn't get a break until mid-afternoon taking me and another walk-in. She didn't mind doing my service though which I was greatful for. I got an acrylic set and they are some of my favorite I have ever had. She did a great job with the monomer and asking me about what I wanted. There was also good music playing. I had a great experience. The owners were welcoming and Mary did took her time to make sure she didn't damage my nails while taking off my acrylics. She spent a good hour, soaking, and slowly drilling back each layer and was super careful not to touch my natural nail. I was super pleased because some salons will try to "pop" off the nail. Never let them do that! Also, I'm really annoying when it comes to choosing my polish color and they were very patient with me. My new go-to spot! read more

I don't even really leave Yelp reviews but here I am. Let me start by saying I don't have high expectations for nail salons lol. I don't recommend this place at all. First of all, prices are very high and the atmosphere and service do not even come close to making it worth it. In addition to the high prices they charge for ANY little thing. Beyond pricing I had horrible customer service. I asked if I could get a refill on my toes or if it could be drilled down so there's not a giant gap where my real nail and fake nail meet and the woman doing my toes got mad, was visibly upset and started being very rude to me. It was to the point I had to just cancel the rest of my appointment. I was so confused...all of this attitude was not warranted. Someone apologized for how she acted but it was still super weird. Also there's mold in some of the polishes and the place is dingy. Just go to any other nail salon. V's Nails on Highland, Zaza or Venetian are good options. read more

Decided to go ahead and give it a shot since also box in the shopping center at UFC, as well as visit the wax salon above it. The atmosphere was nice and the quality of the work very nice! As a student I'm accustomed to student discounts which I did not ask for since I didn't have an I.D. With me at the time. I paid $57 for a gel polish change, refill, and a toe polish change. Usually at V's nail salon I get the same service but for $38 at most (not including a tip). I have made a mental note to check the prices before sitting down. read more

I'm not a nails kinda girl but these feet need TLC every now and then and this is my go to spot! I've been pampered by several employees and none of them have let me down! So friendly and you can tell they take pride in their work. My feet are always soft and the massage is great. While I won't be showing y'all my feet lol, just know they did an excellent job painting my toes. I have not experienced any chipping and the paint job lasts weeks. My one complaint is they allowed a customer to enter the establishment without a mask. But they were seated on the other side of the room so still social distanced I suppose. I was going to Lucky Nails and getting the SNS. The only thing is that lately, my SNS barely lasts two weeks and the pedicures aren't worth it anymore. I've been searching and resulted back to Gel. Stumbled upon this gem! I arrived a little past 9 am and no one was there but the two nail techs and me. I'm use to walking in and the TV or radio is playing. Not here. Pure silence. That was okay with me since I needed to do some catching up on Scandal! Lol. I will continue to come here for my mani, pedi and eyebrow wax services as they are really concerned about the quality of their services versus numbers. I decided to go visit here to get my acrylic nailed soaked off while I was in this part of town. I went inside and they had me check in, then I waited about 10 minutes before anyone even helped me. There were about 7 or 8 employees working and only 5 customers. They began soaking my nails, then a woman beside me was having issues with her nails because they weren't how she wanted them. The man who done her nails started to catch an attitude with her when she was trying to explain what she didn't like. The employees kept trying to talk me into a full set when I said initially that I did not want anything extra--just my nails off. I washed my hands after they were done and they tried to put clear polish on my nails when I said no. They kept asking me over and over until I just walked to the register to pay. I personally did not receive the worst service ever but I believe the woman beside me did receive very bad service. She said the man who got smart with her got smart another time before that as well. I personally won't be back after seeing how they treat a paying customer when they're unhappy with the service they are paying for. read more

The nail bar area was nice and comfortable and TV right in front. Somewhat Large variety of SNS colors. I give it 5 stars. My experience was expensive in cost and cheap in quality. Minus 3 stars. Cost for my SNS $45 for a single color and gel top coat. The process of their SNS was not the original SNS that I have been using to for over 3 years, somewhere else. Less than 24 hours later, my nail broke off at the corner and I had to file it down so, the top coat lifted because it was gel not SNS. Not very happy with the end result of this expensive experiment of mine to try a new location. This is why I will have to give my experience a 2 star. Sorry, I was hoping that I would give my new experience a 5 star altogether. read more

I have been coming here for almost 3 years!! Every time I go somewhere else, out of convenience, I'm not really happy with my Mani/Pedi. Here my gel manicures last and don't peel!! They also trim ALL my cuticles (mine are horrible)!! My pedicures last like 3 weeks because the polish doesn't chip (they must have anti-chip serum or something..Ha). Lastly, they have ALOT of colors to choose from and majority of their gel colors have the matching regular polish!! read more

The first two times I've come here I received decent service. The first time I came one of the techs had her daughter here who was running around and had to keep stopping my manicure. But I went ahead and came back and brought a few friends. Second experience was good and I came back Sunday. I recently got engaged and wanted to pick a color that complimented my ring and would go well with my dress once I found one. The tech insisted I use regular polish even though I never use anything but gel. So, in terrible Baton Rouge traffic I'm back here on a a Tuesday trying to get this terrible chipped job fixed and he's extremely rude and charging me an additional 20 dollars!! I've been here a few times and the service was okay. My nails always lasted, so I continued to come back. My most recent visit will be my last. I had an awful experience all around, and on top of that, my nails do not look the way I would like. Horrible customer service... to the point that I had to say something. Taking care of their "regulars" who came in after me and my sister before performing the services that we are paying just as much for. We sat in the pedicure chairs for 20 minutes waiting to be helped, and my nails were half done. NEVER AGAIN will I come here. I understand some salons use gloves to do pedicures. But this one uses ONLY latex. I am SEVERELY allergic to latex. They had no other options. Just got a pedicure, and gel manicure there for the first time. I've been getting my nails done religiously for above 10 years now, and I have to say that this was the best experience I have had yet! The staff took their time and paid close attention to detail even though I walked in an hour before they close. The girl who gave me my pedicure did an excellent job massaging and making me feel relaxed after a long day. The man who did my gel manicure also did a great job!
