This is certainly not a resort, and is at least a quarter mile from White River, feeding Beaver Lake. Pretty Large RV PK, With Many Permanent Residents. No sign at entrance, and we passed it by winding around a neighborhood of houses that was between the RV Park and the true water's Edge. Verizon signal was good at 3 jiggers; and stronger than their wifi. We were about 100 yds from nice new looking bathhouse which had wifi antenna with good reception at bathhouse but weak at our camper. Supposedly there are repeaters to amplify the WiFi signal, but they were not operational. We got by streaming YouTube TV through our Verizon Hotspot on our phones. We had to buy an extra sewer hose to connect to sewer, as it was placed so far toward entrance of the site, rather than toward rear of site where electric and water were appropriately placed. Nice courteous staff. We were on a level, narrow concrete pad; ~half of sites were gravel; no picnic table.

They've been there for over two years now and the park doesn't seem to care that they are permanent there. They still treat them like crap. I went in to get a cup of ice and they went and got a cup of ice. Next, they have two separate pools. One that has a game room and is twenty-one and over. The other one was family friendly and was next to the playground. It also had a small splash pad. The showers were clean. Most of them had hooks except for shower one. Also, the park had two areas. One for the long term RVers and one for the people who were only going to stay a few nights. The cabins and treehouses from what I could see were nice. In addition, it is not far from the town but not inside it which gives a sense of peace. If you are a mountain biker or hiker it is not far from the hill/mountain. Finally, the staff were very accommodating. We needed two extra nights and they were so nice and let us have those nights. When we left without our things on the table, they called and asked if we forgot them. And when we were confused they said that we were supposed to leave that morning. We said we needed another night, then they were able to accommodate the change. Overall, an amazing place and experience.

Example: I noticed a charge on my card at the end of my stay from Wanderlust, which is odd because I paid my booking in-full up front. Come to find out, they charged my card an extra $50, without even calling or notifying me. Apparently this was to replace two shower curtains in their public bathroom. I only used one shower and the shower I did use was NOT left disorderly. Even so, had they asked, I would have gladly went cleaned it or purchased two new curtains, which are $12.99, they charged me $40 for them. Not to mention, they charged me $8 for their attempt to clean the old one. If I'm not mistaken, I already paid to use the restroom when I made the reservation, so they are already getting paid to clean the bathroom. This is just an example of the kind of schemes they run and get away with it because they have some clause in their terms and conditions that says they can make up rules anytime they want. They do because they know what hospitality is. Throughout our whole stay they checked in on us periodically to make sure we were having a good time and asked if we needed anything. This is a small campground with somewhat small campsites. There's enough room for parking large RVs, but the one thing I would say is that the campsites were a little narrow where we actually had to eat and set up a fire in front of our RV. We could not extend out the awning, but that wasn't a big deal for us. The campground was very peaceful, serene, and natural, with lots of stars out at night. The picnic tables were amazing and if any true camper knows, that is very important. They have good LTE coverage in the campground, but their Wi-Fi is slow. It works, but it's slow. Again if you have a good mobile phone carrier the LTE coverage is good. One crazy thing about this place, and I mean this in a good way, is that they have canoes and kayaks you can borrow.All you have to do is request a day and a time and a location and they will bring the canoes and kayaks out to you and then you can paddle around one of Northwest Arkansas's beautiful lakes. That was a game changer for us because we had kids who love to swim and paddle and this made the experience even better. I highly highly recommend this place for a camping trip in Northwest Arkansas. It was a great location, central to a lot of points of interest in attractions and the people there were so so so friendly.

We called the office and left a message to call us when they opened. We called the emergency number and got a message that no messages could be left... goodbye... After 8 AM we called the office again and got the same, no message could be left, goodbye. Never heard back from anyone. In all fairness, there were two people behind the desk. One seems nice. This reflects the fact that one employee can ruin the entire experience.
