The pool is clean and well-maintained. Maybe it's a bit smaller, but the campground is very quiet during the week and the two weekends we were here it was not super busy swimming. The sites are clean and well maintained, and there are some nice deluxe sites with decks available. The bathrooms are very clean, And the store is well stocked with a reasonable prices. I will say, we were only planning on being in this area for two nights... We loved it so much that we actually extended our stay by a night. Then we enjoyed our time so much the next day that we actually decided to extend for a full week! So we added five days to our original reservation because it's been such a nice experience, and there's a lot to do in NWA.

The bathrooms were clean, bright, spacious, had a private shower, and flush toilets. I would NOT book the campsites that did not back to the river (they are sandwiched between two (minor) roads and had little room. We did not drive to "area 2" which was sites 1-37, but they appeared to be wooded at the bottom of the dam. We stayed in "area 1" which is campsites 38-59, and is almost impossible to find if you arrive after hours (it's another exit off of 187, and is labeled Parker Bottoms) - the signage at this site is very lacking. All in all, a wooded, beautiful campground. We saw armadillos, raccoons, great blue herons, and fish! FYI, there is also a different campground named Dam Site Lake, and it's on a peninsula in the middle of the lake. It offered no trees and looked hot and barren. Due to the lack of signage, we drove around this one for a while, looking for our site (argh!). Dam site lake would be good for a large college group who wants lots of sun and to be right on the water (and who don't care about privacy).

If the cabin I stayed in is any indication of the level of their plans, you will have an amazing time there! The cabin was comfortable and very clean. The kitchenette was also very clean. The cooking utensils were sparkling! You can tell the pride in ownership by the care and maintenance of the campground. They have pull through and back in sites with 30 and 50 amps sites with full hookups! The views from the platform and boat dock areas are not to be missed. The views from your jet ski and boats are definitely not to be missed! Beaver Lake is large, beautiful, and very clear while refreshing to have a swim! You may even see a bald eagle or two checking out the area! The tent area is on the lower grounds closer to the lake! A major plus is not having a mosquito problem anywhere! Especially close to the lake! The pool is clear and offers a place for the family to enjoy and relax after your day around the area. The general store is always well stocked for anything you may have left behind that you need or want. They are Veteran friendly! If you need anything special, don't hesitate to ask for it. It is a quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. The owners are always ready to help! I highly recommend this campground to anyone!

Been coming up here for around 6years for the nearby sites, fishing on the lake as well as the nearby mountain bike trails and competition. This is certainly not a resort, and is at least a quarter mile from White River, feeding Beaver Lake. Pretty Large RV PK, With Many Permanent Residents. No sign at entrance, and we passed it by winding around a neighborhood of houses that was between the RV Park and the true water's Edge. Verizon signal was good at 3 jiggers; and stronger than their wifi. We were about 100 yds from nice new looking bathhouse which had wifi antenna with good reception at bathhouse but weak at our camper. Supposedly there are repeaters to amplify the WiFi signal, but they were not operational. We got by streaming YouTube TV through our Verizon Hotspot on our phones. We had to buy an extra sewer hose to connect to sewer, as it was placed so far toward entrance of the site, rather than toward rear of site where electric and water were appropriately placed. Nice courteous staff. We were on a level, narrow concrete pad; ~half of sites were gravel; no picnic table.

You can book this via Airbnb or directly on the site. If you are into cabin stays and glamping you will love it. There is a private nature trail out back to enjoy and the A frames are on a steep rocky dirt path so be sure you are able to get in and out. Cabins are closer to the lot with designated numbers. The trail store nearby doesn't open until later in the week so I will be coming back to grab some merch and bring friends!! This was probably one of my fave adventure/nature stays to date. Come solo and be refreshed, or bring family and friends. You will be glad you did.

The sites were easy to book online but there aren't great photos to help with the selection. It'd be nice to be able to leave user reviews, so the website managers don't have to take time to input all the data. Check in is from 4-7pm on weekdays. We arrived around 6pm on a Wednesday evening and checked in at the host station. Got our car tag and went to see the site. Oohf, I don't recommend #91. On a hill. Buffy. Full of garbage. No water and the restrooms were just the pit toilets. That info was on one of the maps, but I didn't notice. The attendant showed us how to change the reservation on the app so we could drive around and see what was available for our dates and make a switch. #85 was much better!! Flatter, with power still in the shade, a short walk from restrooms that flush. We were tent camping, and the space just beyond the paved space was flat enough for a 2 person backpacking tent. Our neighbors were fairly quiet. Those restrooms were clean! We used the shower house on the other side of the park. We did drive over there since we would have gotten sweaty on the hilly walk back. It'd be nice if there were showers on this side of the park as well. The showers were clean enough. The water did puddle up quite a bit. I wish that the temperature was adjustable. The water was quite warm, and there was very little ventilation in the room, so it was hard to dry off afterwards with the humidity and sweating. A cool shower would have been nice. The other thing that would be nice is more garbage cans. There is quite a bit of wildlife, so I understand limiting it somewhat. But I think there'd be less on the ground if there were more accessible trash cans. There did seem to be a long term tent city close to the playground and shower house. There was also some sort of police situation when we checked in as well. I would not camp here solo. We ended up leaving a day early. Partly because of the heat, and partially because it was louder and rowdier on the weekend. It was easy enough to change the reservation and check out early (and get the last night refunded!! Which was unexpected) The price is low, which has its pros and cons. We will probably stay here again, but only if there isn't space available at Coler.

We showed up at around 11:30, which is early and no one was at the booth. We came on to our site and set up. We waited until 2 and then went and checked in. There was some kind of work going on down at the swimming area. Overall, not a horrible experience. I don't know about the bath/ shower houses, so I can't confirm or deny the comments I've seen about them. Idk who runs the place, but I think there does need to be a little better security or someone to make rounds at the site and make sure things are ok, but other than than that, pretty good.

Check in was a breeze. I love online booking. Our spot #15 was perfect for our small camper. It was a bit unlevel, but that's normal with gravel, and in the Ozarks! The amenities are great. We were impressed with the option to fill your propane tanks on site! And $5 a bundle of wood for the perfect little fire in the fire pit was very reasonable when some charge way more. They are also a trolley stop, which is nice if you don't want to fight with parking downtown. I highly recommend and next time, we will bring our pups, since it's very dog friendly!
