Example: I noticed a charge on my card at the end of my stay from Wanderlust, which is odd because I paid my booking in-full up front. Come to find out, they charged my card an extra $50, without even calling or notifying me. Apparently this was to replace two shower curtains in their public bathroom. I only used one shower and the shower I did use was NOT left disorderly. Even so, had they asked, I would have gladly went cleaned it or purchased two new curtains, which are $12.99, they charged me $40 for them. Not to mention, they charged me $8 for their attempt to clean the old one. If I'm not mistaken, I already paid to use the restroom when I made the reservation, so they are already getting paid to clean the bathroom. This is just an example of the kind of schemes they run and get away with it because they have some clause in their terms and conditions that says they can make up rules anytime they want. Which is ridiculous. Avoid the headache, there are plenty of other nice places in the area

What I like about Branson Lakeside RV Park: - Proximity to Branson Landing and the cute little old downtown area - Fairly quiet - On the lake - so a nice view - Concrete pads - 50A full hookups - Newer, much larger sites if one wishes to upgrade their accommodations at a higher rate - At your site trash bag pickup What I don't care for as much: - The sites in the area we are always put in with our shorter RV are what I think are the older sites and they are narrow - The buddy site they put me in was awkward to get into as there was a tree on one side and a street light pole on the other side. The site was about 60 feet long. Another thing that made this site awkward was the placement of the utilities. I had to park the RV (travel trailer) at the front of the site and my truck was fully in the street while hitching and un-hitching. Once unhitched, I parked the truck behind the RV. If I were to stay in Branson again, I'd check into the RV park just across the lake on the other side of the lower bridge.

This is one of our favorite places to camp. We come here multiple times a year. Between the awesome…read morewibit and lake, to the new pool with cabanas, to the super fun playground, this place always has my kiddo and his cousins entertained and busy. It is very safe, so I never hesitate to let the kids run and play, giving my husband and I time to relax at the site. It is worth noting, this used to be a Jellystone, which we frequented A LOT. There was a year or two they were switching over to Great Escapes and needed a little patience, but this year was phenomenal and they definitely have their processes down. The cafe has some great food, so no need to ever leave. They even have sites with dog pens available, and a dog park. This makes a difference because I have one dog that doesn't like to potty while leashed. We always stay at least once in the summer to use the wibit and pools, then again in October to participate in the fun Halloween activities they always host. This year they had the hay ride with magic pumpkin patch, the Halloween crafts throughout the day, then the costume contest and trick-or-treating that evening. They even do a site decorating contest. This year the local Taney County 100 Club hosted a chili cookoff, so all campers got to participate in this and try all the different chilis and vote, while helping out a good cause. The kids also got to see the firetruck and ambulance. We were hesitant at first because we really loved the previous owners of the Jellystone. But the new managers have really grown on us and so have all of their staff! This campground is definitely at the top of our list!

This place is formerly a jellystone park. We have jellystone's and visit them in Texas a lot and they are packed. Filled with kids, super lively. Activities every hour, on the hour so we can spend the whole day at the campground doing different activities. This is what we expected I guess from the campground. First, on May 26 I cancelled a RV spot we had reserved and paid for in full. Our RV had been totaled in a tornado. Instead, we joined other family members in a cabin and upgraded their cabin to fit us all. The prices were cheaper than jellystone's, so this was a nice perk we were excited about. 1st call: I was told my reservation was cancelled and refunded. 2nd call (a week before our visit): I was told the refund was actually never processed and they did it and I should have it shortly. 3rd call (day before arrival): I was told they switched to a new system and refunds were having issues and we were one of the families with the reported issues and "someone would call me with an update shortly." I also purchased early check in since we were driving 10 hours through the night and would be there at 8 AM. I confirmed what time early check in started and was told 8 AM. I show up the next morning at 8:30 AM and main office is closed with a sign saying office is at the pool. I walk to the pool, they are closed as well. I call to ask how to do my early check in and I'm told they open at 9:00 AM and if my info wasn't left in the after hours check in box I would need to wait. This was my first complaint. So, so tired.. with a car full of kids and dogs. All I wanted to do was get into my cabin and rest. We ended up waiting. I checked in, but the man at the front didn't know where our information was and though he was very friendly, it just wasnt very smooth. A lady (the man's wife) showed up and checked us in and I asked again about my refund. She said she would process it. It showed up on our bank account then the transaction fell off. We spent the whole trip checking with her and our bank on this refund. We left, still no refund so far. We drove to our cabin and as we showed up a maintenance man showed up before us and rushed into our cabin before us. We were a bit uncomfortable not knowing if we should go in or wait, so we stayed outside and waited. He came out and while he was friendly, again, seemed a bit unprofessional and scattered. Shouldn't this have been done before we checked in? The cabin is new but BEWARE - The bunk beds and the futon are hands down the most uncomfortable beds I have EVER slept in. I suffer from RA and these beds left me nearly paralyzed each morning as it took me extra long to warm up my joints enough to move around after these nightmare mattresses. The air conditioners were nice and worked well. The tv's are not connected to even basic television so we weren't able to watch tv in the evenings or early mornings. The internet did not reach our cabin. Seemed there was more staff who lived there and seasonal residents than visitors. Overall, we enjoyed there being no additional charge for pets. The staff were friendly. This place just needs to work on their business practices and professionalism, everything seemed a bit scattered and disorganized.

Hey Yelpers! Our month long journey brought us here for a few nights. Reservation and check in…read moreprocess was super easy. The office staff are very friendly and informative. Being the week of 4th of July (US Independence Day) there were different events going on in the campground and around the area. They had a site decorating contest, BBQ, and other things on the 4th itself. As for the campground, it was very clean and well organized. Two different shower rooms were available. I would recommend the one by the laundry room. The other smells like it is located over the septic tank. All that waste has to go somewhere, so I didn't take stars for it. Besides, both shower areas were the cleanest I've seen in a campground this trip. One big drawback was the location of the septic drain for our site. It was at the very end of the site on the uphill side. I have a tube incline accordion thing to help with the distance but it couldn't beat the slope difference. I had to manually lift my septic drain tube to force it down after the initial pressure subsided. That wasn't fun. As far as location, it's in a good spot just close enough to the entertainment and shopping. If you want to be close to either of the lakes, you are a ways away. Overall, would I stay here again, yes. The campground has a lot of great things going for it. Check them out and see for yourself!

It's easy to access. The ladies we deal with at the front desk (Julie and company) are the bomb dot com. So why the 3 stars? Price! It's getting out of control. Of course they jack the price up on Holiday weekends which is even more upsetting. That's about the only time we camp here. When we first started camping it was around 36 dollars a night for full hook ups. You couldn't hardly get a spot. It was always booked. We had to book a year in advance every holiday so our families could camp. Well...it was $78 a night this year and moving to $82 a night next year. This was the first holiday I looked around and really noticed empty campsites. The many of cabins were even vacant. I believe those are over $1,200 for the weekend if you book those. The full time campsites never had openings. They do now! Yes, it's a nice location, but I fear the new owners are pricing themselves out of the market. It's not a Sandals exclusive resort. Make camping great again Port of Kimberling! I know we are considering taking our boats to a location closer to home because of this. We drive over 2 hours to get here. An hour drive sure sounds nice when prices of everything are so unreasonable. Oh, and my dad just pulled his boat out of their marina because of the price increase.

A little pricey for what you get, but I completely understand the upcharge for the holiday weekend! We brought our dog with us and paid a small one-time pet fee, then he was good to go. Our king cabin was perfect for my our 70 lb labradoodle, my partner, and me. However, I think it would've been a bit of a tight squeeze with anyone else there too. When we arrived, our cabin was decently clean. A few bugs, but that's to be expected in the woods! They don't replenish your bathroom towels while you're there, but we had about 6 stored under the sink for the weekend, and that was just enough for us. There were mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion on the bathroom sink, but I recommend bringing your own unless you're only staying one night. The kitchen had an oven, stove, fridge, freezer, and some small appliances like a blender and toaster. The cabinets were fully stocked with plates, silverware, bowls, and cups. There was also a small bottle of dish soap and an extra roll of paper towels. There were two TVs in our cabin, one in the living room and a smaller one in the bedroom. I love the outdoor seating on the spacious front patio. We also used the grill out there and made the best burgers and steak! The dumpsters to drop off your trash bags are conveniently located in the campground area. There's a grocery store only about 5 minutes from the cabins, so we went there to get some small things like seasonings, aluminum foil, and the food of course. But the kitchen was pretty much stocked with most of the things we needed to cook a meal, which was nice! They allowed us to check in 4 hours early, our neighbors weren't too noisy, and we basically had everything we needed. Other than a rain reimbursement that I should've paid for since it poured the whole time we were there (which is totally on me for taking that risk!) we had a such a fun time! I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very centered located, close to many of Branson's attractions. The hotel staff was friendly when we arrived . The room was clean . Room 204 had TV, Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker , hair dryer,bath tissues , some toiletries and clean towels. The room we were is having some problems with their outlets because the microwave was not working on the outlet that was intended for. We moved the microwave to over the sink counter to use the other outlet then the microwave worked fine. One of the outlets next to the bed was also out. I let my phone charging over night and had no battery in the morning. The hair dryer was only working on the lower settings if you turned the higher settings was shutting off. They had no Iron, ironing board or luggage rack to set your luggage on it (which would be nice to know) . The breakfast was good , they had biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs in the refrigerator, along with frozen waffles (you had to put in toaster to warm up), toast, bagels, muffins, fruit cups, fruit (apple and bananas), cereal (including fruit loops yay! Kids love it) milk , coffee &juice. The lady that was refilling the food at the breakfast area is super friendly and attentive to details . I'm only giving this 3 stars because of the problems we had with the outlets. I will give this place another try in the future. I thought overall it was pretty decent for $60.00 night stay.

I called got a very friendly southern gentleman on the other end Andy, who is also the owner. I was at ease after speaking with him and booked the cabin. My wife and I arrived to a quite little town just a mile or 2 from branson landing, it is very close yet felt miles away, beautiful cabins and scenery and we'll Andy is about one of the nicest fellows I've met. Andy and his dogs greet you and you do the paper work right there at his home office and he will share all the cool spots to go that aren't the tourist crap. The cabins are amazing, comfortable, clean, just awsome. So very happy we stayed here and we will definitely be back. Great job Andy, and thank you for the memories.
