His estimate is always higher than the actual price as well as competitive to the market. I brought my car to fix a system warning and he could quote the 'after-market' price because my car is old. He delivered the fixed car on time and he was honest with his worked hours. I end up paying less than his estimation. He did not treat any European car owners for grant or with attitude of that : so, you're driving European cars, what to expect? They fixed my baby. I love my car, I detail it weekly and only put premium gas in it. So when the check engine light came on. I immediately took it to the dealership. Well, I always get a written estimate first. I only allowed them to do the prepaid maintenance after they told me to fix my thermostat would be at $2,600.00!!! For a thermostat?!?!? I let my husband know how much the dealership was wanting and they notified me my warranty had run out in August!!! Well, they failed to properly notify me as to when my warranty would run out SO they immediately lost my business! My husband made a call to our local Euro garage...and...YES! They get repeat customers, because the dealership tries to rip them off as well! So the dealership has lost my business forever. This is my vehicles new doctor. I had a quote from the dealership for 6k in repairs- was feeling discouraged and was just gonna buy a new car but I decided to get another quote and I found Euro Garage, they let me know that I basically only needed one of the repairs and it was going to cost me 1500 and they only took a day to repair. These guys are magicians. I suspected that my alternator might be going out as I recently replaced the battery. After barely making it to their front door last Friday evening at 4 PM, Michael was able to diagnose the issue within 3 minutes. It was tight for me as I had guests arriving from out of town to spend the weekend. Michael warned that getting the parts by Saturday could be tricky but he would definitely have the truck ready by Monday. I called at 10 AM Saturday and he said I could pick my baby up in 10 minutes. Don't trust the workmanship from dealerships, thinking you are getting something fixed and paid for it, results was not even getting fixed. Michael was great! Being a woman new to the Houston area from San Diego, I was nervous about finding a good mechanic that wouldn't rip me off. I found them! Michael explained what was wrong with my BMW, which I was already aware of the problems. He gave me a list of priorities and only repaired what I specified and did not push me to make all repairs and just to address the others in the near future. He looked over my car completely.
