We paid the fees, got the truck home, and it still wasn't repaired. They tried to put in cheap parts in our brand new truck. Then they charged us another $1,100 for a tail light . They took advantage of us and should have done the quote right the first time. To top it all off the main service guy STOLE personal belongings from our vehicle. We found out because when we went back to his office OUR belongings were on his desk. Shame on him. The management here is awful and can't be trusted. Hargey the owner needs to get his team and company back in line to provide better customer service.

Since then, I always have a burning oil smell after they change my oil. Also, when my starter was going out, they thought it was because my battery was too weak so they changed my battery to a more expensive gel battery and didn't give me credit for my perfectly fine battery that they removed until I later complained. (They then only gave me a $20 credit). Later, the gel battery they installed gave out after only 1 year and 3 months of service. I was stranded out of town when it happened and Corb's would not give me any kind of credit for bringing the battery back. I will no longer recommend anyone to go here after these continued bad experiences.

About a year ago I was in a small crash and had a body shop on the south side of town do the repairs. They called when the car was ready and said that it wouldn't run. Frustrated, I knew there was what supposed to be a reputable VW TDI guru nearby, so I had the car towed to them for repairs. Seven plus months and myriad excuses later, they'd done nothing to get the car back on the road. It was an awful experience. Finally it dawned on me that I had previously had a great experience at Das European, so I had the car towed again to the team here for repairs. I was very frustrated at the inability to just get the car fixed. because I had spent about $8,000 having a lot of work done to keep the car going, I was worried I wouldn't be able to get her fixed up and back on the road. Christian and team came to the rescue. They fixed the issues on the car and more all in one weeks time. I couldn't be more thankful for the work these guys did, and more importantly that they understand how much I love the car and how hard they worked to help me keep it running. In my experience, important information was not clearly communicated to me before I made decisions about repairs. I later learned information that absolutely would have affected what I chose to do. I understand that vehicles can have multiple issues and that a repair shop can't predict everything. My concern is with transparency and communication. Not giving a customer all of the information available so they can make an informed decision about repairs feels like sketchy business to me. Unfortunately, the experience left me without confidence in the shop, and I won't be returning and if you are considering going think again.
