I went in for a basic manicure. I've had good service here in the past, but I am so disappointed in this manicure. Courtney was my nail tech. She did a great job with my cuticles. It went down hill from there. She cut my already long nails too short. She did not have me wash my hands after the cuticle cream, so the polish is chipping after 2 days. I came here like 2 weeks ago with my daughter and i got a pedicure with gel polish and my nails filed and painted with gel polish and a design plus my eyebrows waxed and paid for my daughter to get a full set. Everyone there seemed to be in a very negative mood. The person doing my pedicure hurt me multiple times and seemed irritated when i winced and jumped each time ( which i couldnt help). She was a bit nicer when doing the nails at least, but still not what i would call friendly or anything remotely close. She didnt do a great job on the nails or toenails as far as the polish, but it was decent so whatever right. Well i finished all 3 of my things and my daughters full set still wasnt done so i paid for everything and went to my car to wait for her. Another staff member who was parked next to me and right in front of the store comes out to her car and starts holding up a bag of weed very obviously and proceeds to roll a joint and smoke it right there not varing at all who was around. When my daughter ( who is at least 18) came out and saw her the girl still did not care, she just laughed and continued smoking. Very unprofessional to say the least. And to make it even better tge polish peeled off within a few days off multiple toes. Usually gel polish is hard as heck to remove even when you really try but this just started peeling off and came off in one whole piece from the whole nail and/or most of the nail. Smh. It wasnt cheap either. I cannot recall exactly how much it was all together but i know just mine was around 98 plus i left almost a 20 tip ( which i def shouldnt have but i did feel for the person and disliked the way the others seemed to be acting toward her). All in all this experience was awful and far from relaxing when you can feel the tension noone is barely speaking except a little child ( who was adorable and honestly the highlight because she at least was singing and happy rather than obviously in a bad mood and cold. I went in with other people and they told us it would be a 15 minute wait, and 30 minutes later is when we got attended. When they finally got to us the nail tech that was doing my nails kept standing up every 10 minutes to go attend other clients. Walked in to get a pedicure on 8/8/22 at approx. 2:30pm and the place was not crowded. Young lady getting her nails done asked me what I wanted & I informed he a pedicure. I was instructed to sign in a sit down. It appeared to be two ladies doing pedicures at the moment, a young Black female and an Asian female. After approx. 10 min the Asian female had checked her client out & directed me to the same chair she had just gotten her other client out of and told me to sit down. I looked down at the tub which had water running and there was something floating on the water so I asked what it was, she didn't answer just scoped it out and threw it in the trash. I asked her if she was trying to put my feet in there befor it was completely cleaned out. She got extremely upset and started speaking her language to the other females that work there. It appeared only one spoke English & she was the one getting her nails done when I came in. She tried to tell me the water was clean and I asked her what had she taken out of the water and threw in the trash. The English speaking lady asked the Pedicures and I was informed she didn't take anything out of the water except a bubble. I'm not BLIND or stupid & a bubble it was not. They were still yapping about a damn bubble as I departed. I have my doubts about the cleanliness of this place. Also I never saw a sign concerning the price of anything but I did see one concerning a 3% service charge on whatever you get done & no refund or something on credit cards. Kathy gave me the most amazing deluxe pedicure today. She is so patient, kind, and very thorough. Truly skilled at her craft. I never felt rushed like I do at other nail salons. For the price, you really get what you pay for here. The deluxe was $40, which is only $10 more than a basic pedicure. I think it really pays to opt for the deluxe considering you get the sugar scrub, hot towels, lotion, and leg massage. I have never felt so relaxed during a pedicure. I would rate this visit 10/10. Perfect. I will be returning and will definitely request Kathy. read more

I went there and was forced to pay $100. I paid less on a visit prior. They saw me walk through the door and had an immediate mean look on their faces. We even got into an argument and I told them they would get in trouble for their conduct and horrible quality of nails. Well per the state of West Virginia Board of barbers and cosmetologists, they officially have their first offense for serving us with unclean tools, which is against W.VA. Code R. 3-7-2.33. The first time the nail tech did not want to cut my nails and argued with me. Horrible place. Went here on March 19th at 11am not knowing that there was any bad reviews or that people have had infected toes from coming here... But they have. After the fact I went. I was going to go to Euro nails but they had a 45 minute wait for pedicures and I couldn't wait because I had to work at 1pm. So I went here there was no wait and the place was barely busy. I should have saw that as a red flag, but I didn't. As of Monday March 28th I had to get antibiotics for my toe because they gave me a toe infection! The basic pedicure is $50 they did my toes and when they were pushing back the cuticle and then cutting them they went to deep and made my toe bleed and then put my foot in the hot water of the foot spa tub. My guess is their foot spa tubs are not being cleaned properly or their foot nail spa equipment is not being cleaned properly. My friend said she see's people post all the time on Facebook about getting their toes done here and then getting a toe infection a few days later and sometimes it takes them 2 tries with antibiotics to get the toe infection away. I'm sorry, but that's not okay. If this establishment is giving people toe infections apparently left and right why aren't they closed down?? That's a big concern read more

Got a Deluxe Pedicure done. Wasn't sure the name of the guy who did it because he didn't introduce himself, but whatever. He did a great job anyways! My pedicure was like a month ago and the gel cat's eye polish design looks perfect still. I will be going here from now on! My only complaint was that I wasn't given the thing to control the chair and couldn't reach it and it was pretty uncomfortable - my fault for not asking, though. Also, there were a few upcharges with the gel polish (which I expect) and the design, I believe, which I wasn't aware of. Ended up being 60$ instead of the 40$ advertised online. read more

First time I have ever left a review, EVER. I don't do much for myself, decided my nails needed help so I walked in for a manicure. I have had countless manicures in my lifetime and this was by far the worst. My cuticles were hardly touched and I had to ask for lotion before I left because my hands felt dry. She noticed be looking at my cuticles while checking out and applied some oil to them. I also had to request that she please apply the nail polish to the edges because she was leaving a rim along the edge of my nails. The rudest staff ever! This was my second attempt with Nail Spa and I couldn't even go through with it. My first visit years ago was so unpleasant that I vowed to never go back, but now that the person that I was going to at Euro has relocated to the Ranson location I was in a bind so I tried them another chance. BIG mistake- NEVER to be made again! I walked in and after 3 people just looked at me like it isn't their job to greet me and ask what service I would like, one yelled from the back "what you need". I proceeded to say a fill and nail repair and was commanded to "sit down". Now I know English is often times a second language in these establishments, but manners should be universal especially when I am trying to support your business. I sat for 2 minutes before replaying the scene from my last visit and then what had just happened in my head before I remembered my worth and I got up and left. I recently moved to the area and have been looking for a new salon for both my nails and waxing. I visited on Saturday (2/26/2017) in preparation for an important job interview on Monday. I was a walk-in on a busy Saturday, and I was pleased at the short wait. I first had my eyebrows waxed, but I wasn't given a mirror or asked any questions about how I wanted them done. (When I returned home, I noticed a number of stray hairs that weren't removed, so I was a bit disappointed.) John did my gel mani/pedi. The pedi was all right, but it wasn't what I was accustomed to -- there was no scrub and he did very little to address the dry skin on my feet. Instead of using lotion, he used some sort of oil (cuticle oil?), which I thought was strange. Then, he did the same thing for my manicure, and it was definitely cuticle oil instead of lotion -- again, no scrub. I also saw no evidence of tools being cleaned or sanitized, which was a concern. My gel nails didn't even last a week...as of Thursday night, they had all begun to peel and I had to remove them. I could've gotten a regular manicure and paid a fraction of the cost, and it likely would've lasted longer. I'm not sure if it the product they use or if it was the manicure itself, but I won't be returning. read more

I did a walk in for a mani/pedi. They were busy so I didn't mind the wait. It was a short wait got seated and began my foot soak. I got the deluxe pedi which was suppose to include hot towels on my legs. One of the other techs made comment to her and she told her that the towels would. It go around my legs. I have had the towels wrapped around my legs before at other places, but what killed me was she didn't think I heard her. What's worse is that she didn't even attempt that nor did she clean under my nails or looks to see if I had ingrown toe nails because she was to distracted. So now on to my manicure, soaked my nails she filled them, pushed my cuticles on one hand so hard that it hurt alittle and on the other hand she drew blood when she cut my cuticles, again she was distracted and again did not clean under my nails. Both of these services took less than an hour and I've had pedi's last at least 40-45 mins when I get the deluxe one. read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I went with a friend because our regular nail place was closed the day we went. We waited for almost an hour, which was okay cause they were busy. But then my friend got a tech that was either new or she just doesn't know what she was doing. We will NEVER go back there again. My friend had a nail pop off when she was trying to get a knot out of a fabric belt. What?! Did she use elmer's glue to put them on? I sat for an additional 10 minutes after they said another tech opened up because she was busy doing other things, like waxing eyebrows. While I was sitting there, I picked out my polish that just happened to be sitting on the wall next to me. Then, they charged $10 for "ombre". If it was done right, I would say okay. But this woman just took a sponge with a little bit of the other color and dabbed it on the ends of the nails. And that's supposed to be ombre? I don't think so! My friend and I went there for the third time and this is the first time I was unhappy with the young lady that did my nails I asked her if she knew what I wanted just to make sure and she rolled her eyes and shook her head yes. I was pretty pleased with my nails but not her attitude. My friend on the other hand was pissed bc the lady that did her nails (third time she got her) she wears glasses that had a chain around her neck. She does not do a good job!don't go to her if you want your nails looking nice. Each time my friend got her she came out with smudged nail polish because she applies it too thick. This time my friend wanted her nails taken off as well she did not soak her nails she just used the drill and my friend left with the acrylic nails still on each nail. Plus she was on her phone almost the all time. The only person I care to go to is Henry he takes his time and is very friendly.
