I've had a great experience with the people at European Marble & Granite so far. I came in last week with the in-laws to help them make some choices for a quick kitchen upgrade in their house.  The showroom staff was more than helpful and showed us a variety of options. We ended up taking advantage of discounted pricing during a sale on granite and just finished up the purchase yesterday after thinking about it for a few days.  The process was really easy and we feel like we got a good deal for the money. I was on the hunt for new kitchen counters. I feel like I did my due diligence by contacting multiple companies, obtaining multiple quotes, and researching prior customer reviews. I ended up selecting European Granite Design and going with Quartz counters. They had a number of options and was the only company where I could do a one stop shop...some others wouldn't touch the plumbing or would nickel and dime the project. Huseyin was very pleasant to work with and when there was a question on the charge for edging; he promptly made the correction. I love love love my new counters. I must add, the installers were prompt, polite, and thorough. I would recommend European Granite for your project. This place does horrible work. They installed our countertop for the kitchen and it was an epic fail. First, the delivery guys arrived late. To make matters worse, they spend nearly 8 hours installing the countertop. The last and most horrible mistake they made was giving us a countertop that was broken. Yes, broken. Our sink area has a clear line from the wall to the edge of the countertop, where the countertop was split. It looks horrible. The split is noticeable. After calling them to fix the issue, they said this is how it's supposed to be. I have never seen a countertop that has been split in half with a noticeable crack. Please do not shop here. Go elsewhere. Quality of work and customer service is disgusting. read more

I definitely wish I would have gone with a big box store. In October of 2016, I set out to remodel my kitchen. I came across European Granite Design in the local penny saver and called them out for an estimate to build cabinets and provide granite. The meeting in my opinion was a waste of time, the rep only came out to talk about services they provide, he then referred me to his colleague, Melisa and said that she would be able to meet with me in three weeks to take measurements and create a design. Melisa and I met to discuss the design options for my small kitchen remodel project. A week and a half later, I saw the design and was thrilled...I picked out colors, design, granite, sink...contract signed. Calm before the storm... I come home from work and the cabinets are in my living room. They are gorgeous, top quality, just perfect. I'm in love. I speak with my 16 yr old son who haphazardly tells me the delivery guys left the cabinets in my front yard and he had to carry them inside of the house. *Insert confused face here*. I call Melisa to query what could have happened. The delivery guy claimed there was no room in the living room to place the cabinets. I'm thinking this has to be a joke because there's no furniture, materials or anything obstructing space in the living room. I discarded all of my furniture weeks prior as my home was undergoing various remodel projects. Nonetheless there was no resolve for that blunder...I moved forward. Time for installation. Things seem to be going well until...the contractor notifies me that the wine rack and 9 inch wall cabinet does not fit in the space closest to the window. Hmm that's odd. We looked at the designs and the pieces together and he's correct, it doesn't fit. So here's yet another call to Melisa now about another issue. She immediately states that I'm mistaken and that there isn't a window in that area *questions: how sway*, then she told me we agreed to place the 9 inch cabinet on the opposite side of the window *Scooby doo face*. We had no such agreement, it wasn't even in the design, and why would someone awkwardly position a cabinet in such a fashion? Several pictures sent to her later and she has yet to take onus that a mistake was made on her part re these off measurements. So at the end, the contractor had to shave down the window trim to fit in the wine rack. Unfortunately, there was no way for the 9 inch cabinet beside it as originally designed. Melisa's suggestion was to take the cabinet back and provide me with a credit. I decided to hold off on her idea to see if I could potentially place it elsewhere in the kitchen. I was told for my trouble I would get a free slab of granite to go on top of the 9 inch wall cabinet if used as a base cabinet. Straw that broke the camel's back... My appliances arrived, yaaaa! The drawer wouldn't pull out because of the stove handle...Noooooo. This deserved an in-person visit to the office and demand for the owner to come to my home, these avoidable errors were becoming ridiculous. Melisa insisted this was the installers mistake. No ma'am Pam, the design measurements were off by 4-5 inches. Melisa and the owner, Emre came out...two and a half hours later we came to an agreement. That 4-5 mis-measurement impacted not only the inability to pull out the drawer but also the positioning of the double sink and subsequent alignment with the window and the rough-in plumbing pipes. This was an inconvenient and costly nightmare. But oh ya (read: sarcasm), Emre gave me a $250 discount. Granite guys came and they were fabulous. They were in and out...well I'm sorry I just remembered, they weren't because *dun, dun, dun* yet another issue as a result of off measurements. The 4 inch back splash on one of the walls over-ran a pre-existing socket. Anguish, yell, cry, pass out...how could this be happening. How could I now have to pay an electrician to re-position a socket that should have been taken into account when Melisa did her measurements! Emre offers $100 credit. Back to the 9 inch wall cabinet. Well I decided that bc it doesn't have a proper base to keep it off the floor it wouldn't suit well as a base cabinet so instead, I had it installed on a wall. I asked Melisa for a deal on ordering a base cabinet, in consideration of multiple issues during this project. Melisa tells me $425, I think its outrageous to charge me full price so I counter. It's now been three weeks since our last discussion and I had no response until a few days ago after again texting and calling the office. At this point I would just like to have the free granite for the cabinet and my cutting board which I never received. I plan to have another company build a base cabinet to go with the wall cabinet. Update: I never received the granite, cutting board, or baseboard unit. The owner reigned on his promises. read more

We had decided to have this company provide our home with Quartz Counter tops and it is absolutely beautiful. Melisa Silverberg the Designed Specialist and Resource Manager came out to take measurements 2 years ago and still had our files. When we finally decided to have them do the work, she was pleased to work with us. The installers were professional and they answered any questions we had, They also took the time to put a drop cloth on our new hardwood floors. They cleaned up after themselves too. I can't stop admiring my new counter tops. #lovelovelovethem!!!!!!!!! Oh, yea, it only took 2 hours from the time they entered our home to finish the job!!!!!!! Well done!!!!!!! EGDesign did a great job making my island cabinet and installing the granite top. Melisa the design specialist and manager came to my home and gave her expert advice how things should be done. She was very gracious and personable. She returned my phone calls when I had a question which was very important to me. The workers did a wonderful job also. I previous had my kitchen counters replaced and tile back splash work done by EGD. Everyone in the showroom also are very helpful. I would like to tell you 'll about my experience with European Granite Design. I had them to add Granite to my cabinets. The representatives were very professional. I Brought a basic drawing of the space with dimensions of my cabinets and that is all it took. I had gotten price Quotes from two other Granite Companies but no one could bet the price I had gotten from them.They were very patient with me as I continuously changed my mine on the Granite design, but once they got started my Granite was complete in one day just like they promised. EGD did an amazing job on my kitchen counters! The granite is awesome and the service and installation were great. Everyone from the sales team, manager and installers were truly professional and I couldn't have gotten a better deal anywhere else...and trust me, I looked :-) They took great care to make sure every piece fit, the plumber did a great job on the sink, they left my kitchen cleaner than when they started and I especially love the 12x12 cutting board that they gave me made from my granite!! The manager actually lives in my neighborhood and I felt like the team treated me like family. Outstanding job...I would highly recommend them to my family and friends. read more

Wow! We are impressed! European Granite Design did a very professional redesign of our kitchen and dining room in a lot less time than we thought it would take. We now have a lot more space, the granite, cabinets and open space is beautiful, and well worth the price. Our kitchen now looks like it belongs in a model home. We were afraid to undertake this effort because we needed a wall moved but they made us comfortable and they made it look easy. Excellent workmanship! We would definitely use them again! read more

EGD did our kitchen granite contertops for less money than their competitors (new venetian gold). I love the stone, the granite is gorgeous but the devil is in the details. They did not fit one of the counter pieces against the wall properly so there is a visible gap and overhang on these 2 pieces of countertops (L shape countertops where the vertical part of the L has an overhang of over 1 inch and the horizontal portion has 1 inch 3/8 of overhang). The gap between one cabinet and the mounted countertop was such that they had to wedge a small piece of granite (less than one inch) and lots of glue/filler to disguise this mishap. Workmen left dirt, dust and grim (including a razor blade) all over the granite, kitchen floors and every where they went. The plumber did not install the faucet correctly (it was loose and anchored incorrectly) and "forgot" to reattach our gas cooktop. Plumber dumped leftover material in our garage and just left it there. I will not recommend this company to anyone and I do regret that we had them do our kitchen countertops. The initial savings are not worth the headache and follow up we had to do to come to a reasonable agreement about how to fix the problems. Go somewhere else if you want a polished and professional work done in your home. These people have a lot of learning to do. Most of their workers seem to be apprentices not professional, licensed workers. Let my experience be your guide, do not make the same mistake we made just to save a few bucks. read more

I will give them 2 stars mainly because of the delivery and installation was horrible. I now realize why you pay more for the big box hardware stores due to customer service and accountability the workers take more seriously. The customer service received in store was OK. However, the process of choosing the granite was like negotiating down in Georgetown with the shop owners. Everything is priced high and you have to haggle with the owner to get the price down. This does not feel like a bargain based on the price at the big box hardware store when it was all said and done. I had a film of dust all over my house because they made final cuts to the counter top in the kitchen. I had dust everywhere. Not to mention some of the back splash was cut to large for some area's on my counter. Let's just say I will not be recommending this company to anyone. I was recommended to this company by a friend. That friend was there during the delivery and was surprised how unprofessional the delivery and installation was handled. read more
