We had so much in common that I was having a bit of a laugh even a few minutes into the massage. I am a light to medium pressure girly and she was super responsive and listened (winning). It definitely calmed me down a bit after a stressful week. Also, I need scalp massages added to all of my massages because what have I been missing out on!? Parking took me a second just because the small lot behind the salon was full, but it was also midday on a Saturday. I was able to get a street parking spot a few down from the door and it's 2-hr parking so that was perfect. I would say to make sure you have cash for gratuity as well as you can't add it to your card. I was told some people there do accept Venmo as well, but cash is your best bet. I will definitely book again because the entire rest of the day, I was relaxed. I also love this location because then I don't have to drive into the city at all on busy days!

However, last month I twirked a muscle in my back and I needed some special attention. Elaine did a wonderful job and I went to see her two weeks later to work on it a bit more. There were two old looking couches that were placed in a weird way that didn't feel welcoming or like it flowed. They had little cubbies with locks to put our stuff in it, rest room facilities thats were clean, but again no spa like zen feeling. The salt room itself was cool. They had tranquil music playing. You walk with booties that they give you because there is salt on the ground. The walks and light fixtures were also covered in salt, and there is a cent that was said to blow Himalayan salt into the room. You go in with your regular clothes, which I thought was strange. I know the benefits cone with inhaling it, but I also thought it gets absorbed in through your pores as well. I have only been to one other salt room at a spa and we were in our robes. After 10 minutes of the salt blowing in, my friend and I felt a difference. It definitely did something, my head personally was feeling fuzzy 20 minutes into it and for about 30 minutes after I left. I didn't feel bad, I'm assuming its from all the salt WI was breathing in. The salt room itself is definitely zen. Interesting experience, I would try a different salt room next time.
