I've been a customer for 3 or 4 years and go in monthly for a lip wax. It's immaculate and the women who wax are competent and friendly. The front desk staff tends to be a bit less personable but nothing too dramatic. I took off a star because it's really hard to get an appointment for a 5-minute wax. If I planned it a month in advance, I have no doubt that it would be a breeze. But, that's not how I work when I just want to pop in quickly. read more

I've been going to this European Wax Center location for almost 2 years now and so far I have had nothing but great experiences. I've had 3 different waxers/beauticians (2 of which got my repeated business) in that time. I spent the last year working with Heather and she is fantastic! I even purchased the unlimited bikini pass and unlimited eyebrow pass. If you plan on going in regularly these passes are an excellent deal. They even offer a payment plan now to pay off a year pass over the course of 3 months! They are also offering a student wax pass where you buy 3 and get 1 free. As a new guest you get a free eyebrow, bikini, or underarm(?) wax complimentary. The beauticians offer helpful advice about products to prevent ingrown hairs and really do take the time to get to know their clients. The guest services associates call you a couple days prior to your appointment to remind you and offer to change the date or time if you need to. Now they even send out email reminders and event offers too!! They also check to make sure your experience was pleasant before you leave every time. I would definitely recommend European Wax Center to anyone who waxes fairly regularly. I don't think I'd consider going anywhere or to anyone else for my waxing needs. read more

Awful. The lady who did the wax was very personable and so kind. I asked for a full leg wax and paid for that service. Blu waxed me and I was done in 10 minutes. I figured it was because I had had laser hair removal on my legs so my hair was thin or maybe not there. All the areas that I asked her to specifically wax were not waxed. I was so disappointed to have spent that much money and not be waxed where I asked. read more

Great place, great prices. All of the people I have worked with have been very friendly and talkative. They do a thorough consultation to make sure you're getting what you want. I decided to get the waxing plan for my eyebrows for a year...which means I can go every three weeks! Woo hoo! Look - if it's ambiance you need while someone is yanking hair out of your body...this isn't the place for you. Their price point should make that obvious. If mommy and daddy have been paying for you to go to Aveda to get your eyebrows waxed, you'll be disappointed. But, go get the same wax at Aveda or some other swanky ambiance-filled place with essential oils and candles and whatever else...and pay twice as much. At the end of the day, they're just yanking out hair. If you require soothing music, aromatherapy or other frills - then you may have major first world problems. read more

Just an FYI I come here for all my waxes including Brazilian. And if anyone ever has an issue with hair removal, ask/tell the esthetician. They are very informed on hair and why it's hard or easy to remove. You may not always have the best experience, come on it's a wax!, but they are always helpful and kind. I love getting my waxes done here. All of the EWC's are great as always but the staff here especially is always welcoming. I usually have my son with me which any mother knows is tough when you are trying to accomplish something. They are always so sweet to us both and totally understanding that he's just a baby and I can't drop him off anywhere in order to come in. They don't care if he's fussy or when he starts acting up and are always so professional and kind. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Even if I'm late trying to come in to my appointment time they will still squeeze me in with whoever is available and I have no complaints about any members of their staff. It's a little pricy but in comparison around town quite reasonable. And if you're a frequent customer, there are other offers for people in order to save money. You also don't have to pay it all up front, they can break it up into easier payments which is great. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my wax treatments. read more

Sooo. . . I am leaving for a cruise tomorrow and decided to get a Brazilian wax. A couple of my friends had recommended it and I will be in a swimsuit, so I would like my lower area to look decent. I called to make an appointment with this location and set it up fairly quickly! I went in this morning for my very first Brazilian wax and was assisted by Mikayla. She was truly incredible and made the whole experience a very smooth process. I was extremely nervous going into this type of waxing procedure and she made it a breeze. The whole time she kept a conversation with me and made sure I was okay. The appointment lasted about thirty minutes, which I've heard is completely normal. I felt relieved afterwards and was very impressed with Mikayla! If I would have gotten anyone else, I don't think it would have went as great as it did with Mikayla. This place does more than just Brazilian waxes, so definitely check it out if you need anything waxed. The pricing is pretty decent for what you receive. If it is your first time they have a free wax trial, but only for certain procedures. The Brazilian wax they take half off, which is really cool! EWC takes appointments through phone or online, but you also can walk-in too! I thought Mikayla did a great job and I will definitely be returning in the future if I need any waxing done! read more

AWFUL HORRIBLE TERRIBLE brazilian. I went to the southlands mall location. I'm new to the area and made an appointment without a recommendation. No one told me I was going to be training test dummy for an inexperienced aesthetician. It took 45 minutes. There were entire areas left unwaxed that shouldn't have been. At one point the girl told me she was going to skip an area because it was painful and you can't see it wearing a swimsuit anyway. If I had wanted a partial bikini .... I wouldn't have been laying on a table, staring into a florescent light for 45 minutes with my vagina hanging out. Seriously. Go someplace else. read more

Oh wow. Ouch is all I have to say! I have done waxes before so knew what to expect. I did not expect she would stop mid strip and s-l-o-w-l-y rip off. I seriously wished I took a couple shots before going in as this was the most painful wax I have ever had. Thought ok, it's been awhile so maybe it was more sensitive but when I got home and over the night it got flaming red and bled!! Sniff sniff.. And to top it off there was wax left and parts missed! After trying other salons and different types of wax, I have to say that the wax at European Wax Center is easily the best! No strips - the hard wax adheres to the hair more so than to the skin, so it's a lot less painful. It's the one and only place I go for my bikini waxing now because my skin reacts better than when I did strip waxing. They also offer an ingrown hair serum to help with any ingrown hairs I may get (which I don't anymore because I use this stuff very religiously). Their prices are pretty good for waxing, plus they offer packaged deals to help me stay consistent and save me money. This is a place I can depend on for getting a terrific bikini wax every time :) read more

Very unimpressed. This was close to my office, so it was good to zip in and out mid afternoon when I took a late lunch. Then it started getting really crowded so I learned appointments were preferred. After about 6 months of no issues, I showed up one day with a previously arranged appointment and they let me sit there waiting after check-in for 45 minutes before I went back to the counter to ask about the delay. They said they "couldn't find my technician" even though they let in at least 4 walk-ins (no appointment) before asking if I wanted to continue waiting. The counter girl was completely unapologetic and glassy eyed at why I could possibly be upset about waiting for so long for an appointment. Will never be back. Going to a different location now. read more
