This Salon is a gem. Ashley is extremely talented and very professional. As a business professional and a guy its very hard to find a stylist with her talents to take you as a client. I have had the pleasure of knowing Ashley and her husband Sam for many years. They have worked very hard to make this Salon a very relaxing and positive experience. I highly recommend going to Marisa at salon diamond. I was never able to do fun new things with my hair cause I couldn't get myself to trust anyone but since Marisa has been my stylist (2 plus years) things have changed. She always does great work and gives me exactly what I want. If I'm not exactly sure what I want she helps me create the perfect look with her great suggestions. I met Ashley(Salon owner) two years ago when I was in town for my wedding. She was referred to me by one of my bridesmaids. She colored and cut my hair and it was the best job I have ever had done. I was recently in town from Seattle and was in a pinch. I bought a groupon for a salon in Seattle and it was the worst I have ever had done. Ashely got me in and fixed it perfectly. The thing about Ashley, that I feel sets her apart, is her obvious love for life. Just by talking to her you can tell she values her clients, loves her employees, and values her family above anything. She is encouraging and easy to talk to. I was referred to this salon by a friend and am extremely pleased with what I received. I got the exact coloring that I was looking to get, along with great service by Jessica Crawford, and a hair styling at the end that I wasn't expecting. I would place the price at average for what you can get at a quality salon, and give 5 stars for my experience. It was very comfortable and my expectations were met in full. Had an awesome and fun experience going from long, dead, damaged, redish/copper-looking hair, to a gorgeous, healthy, brown-to-caramel-to-blonde ombre with a cute, shorter cut with Lailani! I told her what I wanted and how I wanted it, and she made it happen! Never was I pressured into getting something different, and she didn't give up, even with all the hair I have! I cannot speak highly enough of Marisa @ Salon Diamond. Truly amazing! I went in with no style AND no clue what I even wanted. She worked serious magic. Gave me amazing highlights that work appropriately with my natural colors including grey! ...and the cut! Ever since eyelash extensions became a thing, Ashley Ditty was one of the first to offer them here in Chico. I mean at least that's how I found out about eyelash extensions! ‍ She is super careful when applying lashes (since I'm very allergic to some certain glues) and is very cautious with them!! She is super sweet and caring! I always enjoy coming to see her and get my lashes done before the holidays or before going away for summer vacations. She is hands down my go to for eyelashes!! This morning I had my hair done by Anne. I went from a mid length a line to a dramatically shorter asymmetrical cut and from black to a bright burgundy. I originally found Anne when I posted in the 530 needs group on Facebook. She was very sweet and answered all the questions she could without actually seeing my hair in person. I absolutely LOVE Megan at Salon Diamond! Not only did she do exactly what I wanted, but she exceeded my expectations. She knows just how to work with dye and get you the color that you are craving and want! Megan also gave me an AMAZING haircut and saved my hair from further damage. Adriane at Salon Diamond is the best waxer I have been to in Chico. She is extremely thorough and makes you feel very comfortable. She uses a hard wax, which is far superior than strip wax, and it pulls up so effortlessly, that I can honestly say you barely feel it. And that's a good thing with certain areas, if ya know what I mean. She even spot checks with teeezers at the end to make sure she didn't miss anything. read more

Andrea does an amazing job with my eyelash extensions. She is so efficient, always on time, reminds me of my appointments, uses the best products, and I feel so comfortable that she is so sanitary. Love going to get my nails done by kaela. She is alway so attentive to what I want and pays attention to every detail to make sure they are looking great. The salon is always clean and I never been to overwhelmed with the acrylic smell like in other salons.
