I waited over 25 min for my appointment that never happened. I asked 10 minutes after my appointment time when I can expect to be seen and they said that my waxer had called out so they were trying to "squeeze" me in....they weren't even going to tell me. 15 minutes later and still nothing, I left. Why has no one from corporate customer service contacted me when I've been trying to get a hold of them for 2.5 weeks? I have called, left messages, emailed, and submitted a form online. Was told over a week ago someone would get back to me soon and have heard from no one. Asked to cancel wax pass due to medical condition that required surgery & means I can't use service any longer. No one will get back to me, no one answers phone, I left a message, no one responds to emails. This is fraudulent behavior. read more

Went here today for the first time. Love the idea that I can try it out for free first!. I was greeted at the door by Maddie and she explained the company and reminded me that my eyebrow service was for free and I could if needed get a bikini or underarm free too today for my first visit. Precious was my technician. She was friendly, professional and personable. She explained each step of the process and even other things I should do to help my brows fill in better. I really don't like to write negative reviews. The woman who waxed me was an absolute sweetheart but if I'm going to pay for a full Brazilian I expect to have everything removed and not be overcharged. I came home and had to purchase a wax kit to remove much of the hair that was left behind. Mind you I'm 38 weeks pregnant and chose to come here to make it easier on myself. Plus I wasn't notified that I'd be charged for inner thigh (all the hair wasn't removed), which they called back and took from my care. Very disappointed in this service. read more

Can be expensive Review: I have been going for a little over a year getting different services from leg waxing to a full Brazilian. The thing I like about this facility is it has experienced technicians and is a very clean building. Every room has sanitary paper and the technicians wipe the tables down before use. I have never had a bad experience here. The wax formula is great and is always kept at just the right temperature. They also have package deals where if you buy 10 you get one free, and you pay for this with monthly installments. The thing I would mention is when I get my lower leg done only one of the technicians waxed the tops of my feet and my toes. Apparently that is supposed to be included in every leg waxing but even though I have had it done several times, only one technician actually did my feet and toes. read more

Let me start off by saying today was my first time ever visiting EWC and I am impressed! I have gotten waxes in the past but today I did my lip and cheek for the first time! Precious by far the best person who I have ever let come close to my skin with wax! She did my free eyebrow wax which came out AMAZING she listened to me about my concerns and even taught me how to fill them in while we continue to let them grow! This is a review as an employee of this center. My name is Melissa Slagle. I have been waxing here for over 15 months and have enjoyed my experience in working with strictly hard wax. This wax is much more gentle than soft wax (strips). It leaves your skin less red as well. I have worked 9 years in the esthetic industry and have worked at a Benefit Brow Bar at Easton. I have stayed at this center because of the guests of Dublin, Powell, and Hillard are great guests and the employees are supportive and enjoyable. As a professional, I prefer my guests to have an open dialogue with me, and if they want to change something I am doing or don't like something I remain open to feedback in a very nonjudgmental manner. Meh...I went here because the place I normally go didn't have an esthetition working on Sunday & with my limited schedule I really needed a brow wax now. While the staff was nice enough this place was completely laughable. The center has a sterile clinical feel about it. The hallway leading back to the rooms is tiled stone with heavy red doors & thick black lettering. I remember thinking I had better behave myself lest a dominatrix step out of the shadows & wip me. Also they pushed sales on me. The cashier talked at auction pace about purchasing a years supply of waxings while the girl who did my brows put an expensive bottle of lotion on the counter as if I was gonna buy it. I said no thank you & had to place it back on the shelf making for an awkward situation. All of this plus the fact that I get much more for the same price at my other place guarantees I won't be back. read more

The absolute best. I have been in the beauty industry for 9 years. I own my own salon, and have been waxed at numerous places, yet no one beats the Brazilian wax I get from Brittany Shipman. I had never heard of these centers before but got a pass to try it out free, so I went. Wow. That's all I have to say. It is beyond amazing and I love their perfection in the service of waxing. No wonder they are already famous in every other state! I got my brows nose and ears (why not?!) and I felt and looked better than ever. My very first time getting a bikini wax! I had Pinki...she is great. Very gentle and informative. I am going back to her and may try a brazilian... yikes lol. The place was good, they did push me to buy the ingrown hair serum but it wasn't that expensive and they offered me a discount because it was my first time! They also offer a student subscription. Great facility! Clean, bright, tidy. Employees were very upbeat and professional, Samantha did an OUTSTANDING job on my Brazilian and underarms. The whole visit didn't take too long, and both Samantha and the receptionist were very helpful with my questions about service packages and products. I highly recommend this location. I started going regularly to the European Wax Center in Dublin, OH a little over two years ago. I absolutely love it there. My go-to aesthetician is Leanne, and she always does a quick, extremely efficient job. Just recently, I switched appointments last minute and was waxed by Lorraine. She is an absolutely sweetheart and did an amazing job. The person at the front desk is always friendly and helpful, especially when figuring out appointments and wax passes. They do push their products; however, in their defense, the products do work. I use the ingrown hair serum and lotion daily. If you do not need anything, just say so. When I came home for the holidays, I really needed to get my eyebrows done (they were awful) when I searched around I found European Wax in Dublin which was VERY close to home, plus! When I went in they were instantly able to help me out! ( Making appointments is not a must, but does guarantee a time that works for you). It was my first time and they were able to explain everything to me! If you are a local resident and have an ID you can get a free wax! Brittany was the one who did my eyebrows and made me feel so comfortable and was very easy to talk to! So if you can get her, do it! Not only am I an employee here at this location. I was a guest years prior. I've only ever gotten facial waxing done here and I never had a bad experience. The center is cold! Especially when you're not moving around like the waxers are. We keep the center cold so the wax dries quicker and adheres to the hair for a fast and efficient experience. So I definitely tell my clients the next time they come in bring a light jacket if you're getting a long service. So PLEASE come in and see us. I have been getting waxed for years, but only recently (past 6 months) at European Wax Center. I love their blue wax, it is really gentle on my skin and cuts down on pain and post-wax sensitivity. They do push their products, but since they actually work I can't dock them for that. I have seen quite a few technicians at this location, Kristin M is my favorite. She is really quick and I had my least painful wax experience with her. Waxing is not exactly fun, but at least here it is quick, convenient, and relatively inexpensive if you get the passes. read more

Horrible experience at this European Wax Center. The person waxing me seemed inexperienced coupled with a lack of cool air to help dry the wax. This led to an INCREDIBLY painful experience. (I was biting my arm to stop from screaming as she ripped the wax repeatedly which wouldn't budge!)The experience was made worse by the young, rude front desk attendant who didn't seek to understand what happened or how she could make it better. Only that I had to pay for a Brazilian (despite not getting one) and "they" would call me to discuss a refund. Eventually, another staff member interceded and refunded my credit card before I left the store. At home, I tore off the remaining wax and found it was not a complete nor thorough waxing. I should note this is not my first Brazilian wax and I've never experienced this type of pain before. I will never return to European Wax Center at this location nor any other. read more

Went here yesterday for my first wax experience (other than brows) and it was not worth the time or money. I had a brazilian, stomach, full legs and armpits waxed. The girl was nice enough, but when I got home later in the day I realized she had left a FULL PATCH of hair between my nether regions. This is after I had to tell her to do my back side. Its embarrassing enough to get a brazilian, let alone have to tell her what to do. AND she didn't even ask me if I wanted to leave a patch of hair, she just took it all off without saying a word about it. I made sure she knew I was a newbie so she would know to tell me how to position myself, etc. but she didn't bother to tell me anything except butterfly my legs-which she didn't bother to tell me when I could stop doing that either. She also did not apply the oil to all areas that were waxed, even on my legs, just a couple quick swipes and she was done. I still have little hairs on my upper legs that didn't get touched either. The place is freezing and they don't offer you even a towel to cover up with. I laid there in only a bra for an hour and a half with nothing to cover up with. Not to mention, the floors looked like they hadn't been swept in a month, so maybe a good thing they don't have linens. I made a follow up appt for 4 weeks from now, but I will be cancelling it now that I have had some time to reconsider. Update: 7/19- I went back for a "touch up" after I called and said what happened. That appt went smoothly (intended). Quickly after leaving I was contacted by the manager via phone who apologized for my experience. He left me a message and offered "free services". I called him back several days later and he was very nice, seemed genuinely interested in what had happened. Suggested I "bring a jacket" to my next appt. The "free services" offered in the message equated to a $20 credit on my account. read more

Today was my first Brazilian was. Since I was a first time customer I received a half off discount plus a free brow wax. That was the part that drew me to pick this place over anyone else. My water, Hannah, was FANTASTIC. Although I wasn't really concerned showing my lady bits to a total stranger (I've had a kid, besides it's a Brazilian lol) she made me feel completely comfortable, told me everything she was doing and why. Although their was a couple spots during the wax that wasn't my favorite moments, it truly wasn't that bad. I encourage anyone that has been curious about getting a Brazilian to come here and ask for Hannah. They also weren't too pushy on their products. Which was nice.
