Great customer service here! I arrived late and felt so bad, but they said your alright. I was serviced very quickly which I appreciated. What I like about this location is everything is simple from check in to check out. You see the prices, pick your wax option and your good to go. At other places, they make you wait maybe half an hour then ask you questions, none of that here. The wax itself didn't feel bad, my wax consultant worked very diligently and took her time with me. I appreciated that hard work ethic she had, most people rush and try to get you out. She took her time and really made sure everything looked good for me. It was my first time trying out waxxpot because I saw the deal they were having. I also brought my cousin Clarissa with me because she wanted a wax as well before her bridal shower that day too. Overall it was a fantastic experience. I had Mylesha and she did my brows. She also tinted them too. She was very professional, helpful, and courteous to me the whole time. My brows are on the sparse side she suggested to try tinting the eyebrows to make them look more unified and better. I do agree with that. She made them look fantastic and I was impressed with how much better they looked. I also liked how modern the place looked and it was very comfortable too. I was super excited to try waxxpot after hearing several good things about it from friends and coworkers. The atmosphere is very modern, clean, and welcoming! The staff was very friendly as well! However, I had gone in for my first time which they offer a complimentary wax (up to $20) which seemed like a really great deal! I got my eyebrows waxed and I have a very high pain tolerance so waxing has never bothered me and everything felt fine during the process. Only at the very end, she told me I was beginning to "welt"....... they had done a patch test on me before hand because I am on topical acne medication which I informed them off. She proceeded after the patch test saying I was fine. After I left my face was bright red far above my eyebrows as well. The skin underneath my eyebrows was gone. I immediately went home and applied several rounds of a cool milk compress to reduce the swelling, burning, and redness while the proteins from the milk help rebuild and protect skin. I have had to apply Vaseline and Neosporin every day and night to keep the lacerations from bleeding/expanding. I have never had an eyebrow wax go like this before so please be super careful here! I'm not sure if the wax is different but I ensured I did not expose myself to sun, apply my topical cream, or do anything that would have allowed this to happen to myself. I was extremely upset and still am because I can tell it is going to scar despite my best efforts. read more

The staff are very nice and professional here and the facility is spotless. I'm not used to waxing anything other than my eyebrows, so the pain was intense. Let me start by saying I have never written a review. But after my two recent visits I felt inclined too. First off I got an eyebrow wax by mylesha and LOVED it. She was amazing. While I was there I saw they did eyelash lifts, of which I have had MANY. I was excited the location is so close to my house and that one place could offer two services! I scheduled a lift and tint. It was more expensive than I was used too. I am sad to report it was horrendous. The lady who did it did not introduce herself, she told me it would last 2 weeks after starting (which it is supposed to last months) and when I told her this, she said she'd never heard of that- clearly not knowledgeable. She was rough with my face and lashes and had me wipe my own eyes when she was finished. They also turned out horribly. I am SO disappointed and wish I could get my money back. I ended up paying $80 for something that I am going to have to correct ASAP. Will not be back for lashes EVER. The 2 stars is for Mylesha because she rocks and I will be back for her. read more

I have never left a review before and tried to send an email directly to the contact email listed on their website, but it was returned, undeliverable. My experience was bad enough that I feel the need to leave a review somewhere. My first experience at Waxxpot-Dublin was good. They were friendly and I was happy with my brow wax and tint. My second experience was ok, not great. I had some scabbing under my brows after my wax. It was winter and my skin was dry, so I let it go. I went today and the women at the front desk were very rude when I walked in. Neither were in an appointment, but they clearly did not want to do my brows. After some grumbling, one of them agreed to do my brows and I'm wishing now that the rudeness I experienced had just caused me to just leave instead of go through with the service. My right eye is red and swollen after my wax ( 7 hrs later). The skin under my right brow is raw and the wax was extremely painful. When I arrived home, my husband and son said that it looked like I had been punched in the eye. I have been applying a cool compress and am keeping aquaphor on it, in hopes that it will heal ok. I have had my brows waxed many times (elsewhere) and have never had this happen. I hope that no one else has an experience like mine. read more

I've never been waxed before, but I decided to do my underarms and a brazilian before I went on vacation a few weeks ago. My Waxx specialist was Crissetta and she was just the sweetest! Super helpful in making me feel comfortable and relaxed. She talked to me the whole time so I didn't pay attention to the pain as much (which I personally did not think was bad at all!) The first time I came here, it was great. Mylesha did my brows and was awesoms. However, the second time was not as great as far as customer service. I called and wondered if they could get my appt changed earlier that day due to a family conflict. They moved my appt from 12:15 to 11:30. Perfect I thought. I show up at 11:30 and they weren't ready. They said I would have to wait til 11:45. So I am patient and wait. Well 11:45 rolls around and they say they can't take me til 12 now. At this point, why did you even say I could change my appt?? Just thought it was not thought out very well from them and it wasn't professional. read more

I went to this Waxxpot-Dublin location today due to being on the north side of town and needed my eyebrows done. I didn't have an appointment but they didn't look very busy with techs walking around. I went to the front desk and the receptionist looked very disheveled with bright orange hair, and was on her phone and didn't say hello, I'll be with you in just a moment... she said nothing. I felt awkward and was going to leave due to the rude customer service. I've been to the one in gahanna and short north, have never been treated so rudely. I did end up getting waxed by Mylesha, who was good, but I will not be back due to the lack of customer service by their front desk staff. read more

I really like Waxxpot in Dublin. Haruna is very nice and the staff in general are very nice and welcoming. The location is convenient and the rooms are very clean! The services are expedient and you don't have to wait a long time if you go in the mornings. However, because the appointments are done so quickly sometimes the waxing hurts even more. You should look on their site for the charges and expected times of certain services. Overall a good experience and I would recommend them! read more

Made an appointment here after seeing the shop on a grocery trip. Quick and fairly painless eye brow wax and a very detailed tint also. I enjoy the brightness and cleanliness of the facility. I think if I ever decided to get any other "places" waxed I would definitely do so here. The eye brow package they offer does seem like a good deal as well. read more

I had visited the location in Grandview and had a good experience, so I was happy to see Waxxpot open this location closer to me. The salon I had gone to for years for waxing did a good job, but didn't offer the flexibility of scheduling appointments that Waxxpot does. The Dublin location didn't disappoint. It's bright, clean. The service I got was very good. I had my brows waxed & they looked great. The person who did them is the mgr.- she doesn't routinely do the waxing (because she is the mgr). However, I felt comfortable enough scheduling a follow up appt. with another staff member. I bought a package they offer that gives me a free brow wax, which was a nice perk! read more

I went in for a Brazilian and she had left so much hair I had to goto European wax center to have them remove the rest of the hair. What a waste of time and money. I saw this place and thought that I would check it out. It seemed like a nice, clean place for waxing services. The person at the desk was kind of rude. The person who actually waxed my eyebrows and did the brow tinting was nice, but, I do not like to be "upsold" into a service that I did not intend to receive. They upsold me on a brow tint that I've been trying to get rid of for days. It's way too dark and it looks terrible. I just wanted my eyebrows waxed and should have not been pressured into this service. The entire area around my eyebrows has broken out, as well. It looks awful. Another bad experience is that they push to rebook future appointments the second you are complete with the current service, which is an uncomfortable situation. I hadn't even looked at my brows really before they started talking about all this additional maintenance and upkeep to the brow tint, waxing, etc. I will not be returning. Please be aware of all of this before you enter. If I would have known it was like this, I would have gone somewhere else. Waxxpot Dublin was extremely disappointing. read more
