Kathy is always so sweet, nice, and funny. I've gotten my nails done with her twice (white french tip with flowers, and sage green french tip with silver chrome) and a pedicure once. She was extremely helpful and made sure I liked everything. Today, I mentioned that I wasn't sure if I wanted rainbow or silver chrome. She put some of each on two different fingers so I could pick the one I liked best, and she didn't mind having to take off the one I didn't like. She always makes sure to ask if you like how everything is looking along the process. I've gotten a pedicure with Kasey before too, and she was great. Super sweet and made sure I was well taken care of! Jessica also did my nails once and they also turned out great (nude with green clover). One Star review is pushing it!! I had been going to Vy and Kathy for years prior to when Pearls was established. Pearls is hit and miss on quality and felt it was probably a 'bad day' when I received poor quality again. When I addressed the chip nail issue, I was treated horrible (after all these years of being a customer and never complained, I was SHOCKED)!! The person in training (no license) was taking off the polish to correct the nails that were chipped, was rough she burned my fingernail. Vy and Kathy speaking in Vietnamese and would not address or approach me to look at my nails and sent the trainer to address the situation. There was a sudden awkward horrible attitude towards me as if I purposefully chipped my nails. I did address the situation as I was leaving that I would never be back, I was never treated so rude and unprofessional. I felt as if I had a friendship with Vy and Kathy after all these years, eyes were open when I addressed their poor quality and unprofessional behavior. Vy and Kathy not only lost a loyal customer but my 4 family members and 2 friends will not be back as they have felt quality has decreased significantly. I went for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed my experience. However, when I left I noticed my foot was burning. I looked at it when I got home, but didn't notice anything. This morning my foot hurt so bad to even walk. When I checked, I had two cuts on the bottom of my foot. I went back to Pearl Nails today to talk to them and see what we could do about it. They told me that everyone's skin is thin on the bottom of their foot and that they didn't do it on purpose. I asked if I could have a refund or partial refund. They couldn't give a refund. She offered me ointment for my foot and told me it would heal. They said they didn't mean to do it, which I know. They said they spent an hour of their time and couldn't just refund that. I told them I paid over $70 for the service just to be left with painful cuts on my foot. They kept telling me I didn't pay that much, but I do have the debit from my account showing what I paid. I left very frustrated with the only "resolution" being ointment for my cuts. As a business owner, I appreciate hearing directly from customers if there is an issue so that we can resolve it and make it right. I am extremely disappointed by the way this situation was handled. While this salon seems to offer a good service, the way I was treated as a first time customer who was hurt by them is very disappointing. I opted for $45 pedi and nail dip (powder) $30. When checking out I checked the screen as I went by and by my name there was $79 ok great.( $4 tax?) Go around to the other side to pay $91!! What?! Said something and don't even know what they said except $91 dolla...BS and I was stupid and tipped. Not only that one of the nails is cracked all over and don't have time to go back Plus a pet peeve of mine is having multiple people working on me, I swear they do it to confuse and eliminate accountability! read more

A friend of mine recommended this place for a pedicure, so I decided to give them a try. I walked in and was immediately seated. It was just me and one other lady. I decided to get the super deluxe pedicure ($55). The service was okay, nothing to write home about. The hot towels and stones were pretty lukewarm to where I had to ask for them to be taken off. While the towels were sitting on my legs, she added gloves to my hands, which i assumed had to be apart of the service because why would you just add something I didn't ask for?! Once at check out, my total was $65! When I asked why, she told me I was charged $10 for the gloves! Gloves I DID NOT ASK FOR! I paid for my service, left a tip, but won't be back again! read more

First time customer to pearl nails and spa. Super friendly greeting. Neat and clean. Could have had background music playing. Manicure was excellent. One of the best. Pedicure, not so much. I have been in support of the business since the owner decided to branch out from their previous role as a nail technician somewhere else. I have had the privilege to see these ladies for the past few years and Kathy has been my nail technician since I was in middle school. To say they are kind and hospitable is an understatement. They truly care about the wellbeing of their customers and despite the price they value the connections they make with their clients. To a stranger, they can be intimidating because they don't always speak but they are very kind when they do. Always, I came onto here not only to promote them, but to add more context to people who might feel mixed on their services. They work hard and they deal with very entitled customers with grace and a great since of humor and have a massive amount of respect about boundaries if you inform them before hand. They are meticulous and if you have a problem, they show no hard feelings if needing to adjust or change something IF you communicate it to them. Leaving a bad review because you didn't specify your criteria is not only immature but a judgement of character. They work hard and their work is worth considering. The vibe is now really friendly even despite the constant stress of walk ins and over booking. They started playing music now too and they love to learn more about English if you ever have concerns of not being comprehended. Made an appointment, arrived early, at opening, asked for a pedi, fill and wax. The place was empty. After the pedi and fill, I was told they could not do the wax because they had gotten too busy. I will find a salon that is not too busy to provide services requested. read more

I went in for a pedicure and now I have a ingrown in my toe and my feet look like I haven't gotten them done... I will NEVER go back.....

I came in Aug 8th for 2 pedicures, a manicure and waxing. Kathy was a great conversationalist while doing my manicure. She did an excellent job giving me what I'd like without picture references. The shop accommodated my partner and I for the pedicures and sat us side by side. Sandy did my pedicure and was very soft and sweet with the process. I'm ticklish occasionally, thankfully she didn't seem to mind. Kathy finished our appointment with my eyebrow wax. Quick and easy processed, looked great too! Overall very pleased for a birthday experience. I did book through the site instead of being a walk-in. Will be back in the future. read more

Unfortunately, I received a bad pedicure. It began with the clipping of a nail to far into the side of my toe. After complaint although apologetic. There was a lot pain and the rest of the pedicure was terrible with an uneven trim and a half attempt to file. The massage was then barely a foot rub as she was afraid to touch me. I do not get color so when I went to pay they still expected me to pay full price for my terrible pedicure. read more
