My first time leaving a review on yelp, and I had to just tell about this location of EWC. I've been going to EWC for about 5 or 6 years and this is my first time trying this location. Absolutely fabulous! I loved my experience! The over the phone front desk lady was kind and courteous when making my appointment. My waxer, Jennifer, was sweet, caring, and funny. She made the whole experience comfortable and go smoothly for my Brazilian and upper leg. She double checked to make sure every little hair was off! I have had many wax treatments in my past, but unfortunately this last experience did no go well. I had a service performed by a worker named Bailey...we got along very well and towards the end of the treatment she began gossiping about a close neighborhood friend. She was unaware that I knew this neighbor... I continued to act natural during the conversation so I did not raise any red flags. It is very unprofessional to gossip/speak of others in a negative manner, especially in a place of work. I do not want to pay for a treatment and feel condoned to listen to gossip or hatred...especially of a neighbor I know very well. I am very disappointed in the company for condoning this type of behavior or not taking action on workers who spread rumors and gossip. The Wesley chapel area is a very small area; where many women get treatments done..I don't think it is right or fair to speak of friends and/or neighbors in a negative tone. This is not what I expected during my treatment but I waited patiently for the my session to be completed. I hope action is taken and no one ever has to hear of a family member, friend, or neighbor be brutalized from a local employer where they get their treatments done. I will not be returning or getting treatment done here any longer. read more

There was a very simple mistake made. I was expecting the appointment to be scheduled the following day, but somehow it was scheduled the same night. Considering this is my first time coming here, I am not familiar with their process, but I find it unprofessional not to confirm an appointment that was booked within 30 minutes, the same night, right before you close. A courteous call could have been made prior to the appointment if all these rules were in place. I received a phone call AFTER they close to notify me that a no call no show record has been added to my profile since I did not answer my phone or call them by 8p. Additionally, she sounds irritable and talks very fast. As she was leaving the message, I called back three times without getting a response. If communication is a problem even in a small way, I'm not going here. read more

The staff here is nice, but unfortunately they don't know how to actually wax ALL of the hair off. Missing several areas of a Brazilian wax. I've given them 3 tries and each time, with a different person, hair was STILL MISSED. No excuse by now. Find a different business who is more efficient and effective. read more

I got the worst waxing experience ever. I get regular wax but ever since Corona happened, I haven't gotten a wax in months. Anyways I went and got my First responder wax and OMG!!! After this experience I'm never coming back. I left with the side of my vagina bleeding and I am in pain. The lady literally pulled my skin off and tried to play it like it was probably an ingrown bump. I'm bleeding uncontrollably and will possibly have to end up going to hospital. read more

I've been to this location 3 times since they opened and it's been great! I love that they are close to my house and their hours fit my schedule. I just recently moved to Florida and have been going to EWC for 3 years now in different states. My experience at this location was wonderful. I was waxed by Jennifer who was super professional but still welcoming. I'm pregnant right now and was super nervous about seeing a new wax specialist but she truly put me at ease. This is also one of the cleanest waxes I've had to date having curly hair I've sort of given up on a clean wax because people have a really hard time waxing me but this wax is amazing. I left feeling so much better and much more confident which really meant a lot for me during this pregnancy. 5 stars and I'll be back in 4 weeks. read more

Had an appointment to go to the European Wax Center when the girl who was going to be doing my Brazilian wax told me my hair was too short and needed another 2-3 weeks to grow it out and refused to do it. Ive been getting Brazilians done on and off for about 6 years now and knew she could have done it. I was frantic and called EWC in lutz to see if they could fit me in last minute since I was leaving for vacation tomorrow morning and they were able too. I had Jennifer and was completely happy with the results, the staff is so nice here and the customer service is top notch.
