I have been going to this location for years. The staff in the front is usually great. The waxers are on time and are good at what they do. Tonight was awful!!! I booked an appointment for my daughter for 7pm. She was not taken until 7:26pm! One of the front desk staff was rude about it to me. This is a total disappointment. Rasheda (sp) was amazing!!!! When you get a Brazilian as often as I do it's. Always a difficult thing to step away from who does a good job and is in your home town! I've been going here for about 6 months & I absolutely adore Madison. She is efficient, welcoming, friendly, and good at distracting me. I've been getting a full Brazilian each month & it's been great. They use hard wax & other products that make the whole experience a little better. I highly recommend this salon & Madison. She's fab! I always get the appt I want & I also pre-paid for 9 sessions and got 3 extra for pre-paying which is awesome. I'm able to go in & out without having to take my card out to pay. I enjoy getting waxed at this location. The staff are always prompt, and nice. This can be an uncomfortable experience, but the staff makes it a fun and enjoyable experience. They will talk to you, make you laugh, and you will barely feel a thing. I wouldn't recommend getting waxed when you are intoxicated...don't do it! I personally have not experienced it, but other customers have. It did not end well for them. The receptionist are always pleasant and answers the phone saying "it's a beautiful day here at European wax center..." haha I just like when they say that especially when I am having a bad or stressful day. I don't think European Wax Center hires terrible people or they get rid of them fairly quickly because I have never met someone who is downright bad. This location is laid out similar to every single one, it is near the Roly Poly's, if you've hit LA Fitness, it's on the same side but at the other end. I have gone to Candace twice now and she is pretty good. I like her, friendly, personable, and carries a conversation well. I don't like going to people who can't carry a conversation - it can be awkward. She did my eyebrows last time as an add on even though I didn't have it scheduled; she said she had time so I was super happy with it. She did a great job too! Getting your eyebrows here is pretty expensive but because I was wary at getting it any place near my house I decided to splurge. Front desk receptionists are very nice as well, haven't seen any of them be rude or anything! read more

First let me say I've been to 3 different EWC and this one by far has the best customer service. When the one in Cinnaminson was closed for my appointment time and did not call me to let me know, I called all over trying to find one with an open appointment as I had to leave for a vacation. Jenn, the owner, apologized on Cinnaminson behalf (even though she doesn't own that one) and was super accommodating trying to fit me in the schedule for the same day. This was the only wax center willing to help me find a solution. Jenn is absolutely fantastic and the her customer service was top of the line. Other centers should take note. Will ONLY be using this location in the future (or Marlton, because I was told she owns that one as well). read more

I have been going to this location for quite some time. I stopped for awhile because I felt they were over priced and wasn't happy with the service itself. I started going back because I found a great waxer there! Totally worth the money. I had a 12:30 appointment and I called to let them know I was stuck in traffic and about 5 minutes behind. Receptionist said I needed to get there by 12:40 in order to be seen. I was a little shocked by that, but ok, said I would do my best! I checked in at 12:39pm, relieved and sat down. And then I was called up to the desk to be told I was 9 minutes late and would be unable to be seen....... I asked if they could see the next person, and I'll wait and go after. That was denied as well. I am in the customer service business and I found this appalling. If I had any idea about this extremely strict timing, I would have cancelled my appointment knowing I wouldn't be able to get there at 12:30pm. I do not condone being late, but I do understand things happen, and I called to give them a heads up. So to be denied my appointment, I am very disappointed. 9 minutes behind schedule, it happens! My recent eyebrow wax experience was just OK. I'm very blonde and only have my eyebrows waxed every few months. The place is very nice and brand new, and the staff was friendly. The individual who did my eyebrows was so fast I'm not certain she even saw what she was doing nor did she use a close-up mirror. Both brows were waxed too far from the center and uneven! ugh. Oddly enough when she was finished with my waxing she had me remain in the room while she cleaned up. Really? I want to watch her clean the room. Without getting too detailed, the individual that did my wax had hair all on the side of her face (umm... As I've gotten older, hair has started to sprout out of my nose and ears and I can never quite get at it with the trimmers. My husband and I decided to try EWC for our first time from a friend and plus she said it is super clean!!!! We choose Kyra from all the great reviews she has on social media and trust me, those reviews are TRUE! By far the BEST time we have ever had while getting waxed. Kyra also noticed I had a wonky right side that was not growing in right so she gave me the "The Restore It Natural Serum for Brows" and "Natural Brow Powder" so I can get my eyebrows "looking like cousins and not sisters." I only ever go to European Wax Center, they use the best wax, do a great job of prepping the skin & it doesn't hurt as much as it could. I've heard horror stories from girls who go to random shops & get skin ripped off....EWC is professional, CLEAN, & if you take like 400mg of ibuprofen an hour before your appointment it really won't hurt that bad. The first time I went in was the first time ever getting waxed & after the first rip I realized how much I hyped it up in my head (& that was me getting a Brazilian). This was my first wax experience ever (so it was complementary, of course) and I have already booked my next appointment! The woman working the front desk was blunt and to-the-point about everything (as in very little small talk and quippy jokes) but I appreciated the professionalism and clarity, especially as a first timer. I had a friend (her second time here and the one who referred me) who mistakenly made her appointment the day after mine but since the place was relatively empty, the woman was able to fit her in at the same time as me! Really helpful and clear. I had Liv, who was friendly (and not typical retail/spa friendly) and chatty while being very professional and quick, which made my underarm waxing painless in every way! I ended up buying the exfoliating scrub she recommended because I trusted her enough after one simple visit. I'm returning in 3 weeks as recommended and I'm eager to be a regular. They also have cards on the front desk with every employee's availability so you can pick your preference and hold onto it! It was only by chance that I ended up coming here. My regular person who does my wax somewhere else canceled at the last minute. I can't say enough about how great this place is! It's beautiful inside, resembling a high end hair salon. It's very clean and smells nice. The original Price isn't bad for a Brazilian wax ($50), but because it was my first time here, it was half off! $25! Candace was amazing. She talks to you the whole time so there is no awkwardness. They use hard wax here, which is the best and she never stops talking and chatting pleasantly the whole time. There is no time to feel self conscious or uncomfortable. She was incredible. In 10 minutes I was perfectly waxed and no irritation or redness afterwards. She explained their products they use and the benefits but did not give me a hard sell, which would have turned me off. I use to work reception for spas and salons. The girl on the phone was horrible. She definitely needs more training. But what's worse, is my eyebrows are pretty much gone. This is what I get for not waiting for my usual person to come back from vacation (at a private spa). I just hope they grow back. And then she had the nerve to bring up my bald spot on my eyebrow..... I didn't realize just how bad this was until I got home because she filled them in with powder. I came here for my first Brazilian wax. Needless to say, I was extremely nervous but luckily Samantha talked me right through the whole thing by keeping me busy with plenty of conversation. I was in and out in about twenty minutes. It went great the pain was about a 7 out of 10. She was professional, courteous and definitely kept our appointment running smoothly. I did purchase the ingrown hair serum and I am not sure if it's because of that or because I waxed but I didn't get any unwanted redness or bumps like I thought I would. This isn't my usual EWC but I needed a wax and was in the area. I got a Brazilian with Tiana and she was great. I don't know how she did it but the wax was nearly pain-free! Tiana kept up conversation which helped take away that awful "here's my lady parts all out on display" feeling. She was very thorough and professional. I am not sure what the 5 star ratings are about. I made an appointment here because of the great reviews. The place is clean and the front desk woman was helpful but the waxer (I forget her name) was rough, first she cleaned off my face with what felt like sand paper, then she slopped on the wax like spackle ripped it off then handed me a mirror which I could not see if she did a good job or not as the mirror was not a magnified mirror. When I got home I looked in my mirror and saw all these hairs she did not get with the inch of spackle, 4 days later and I have little whiteheads all around my lip. No Bueno. I am reluctant to try them again but I may with a specific waxer, maybe my waxer woman had a bad day. read more
