I booked the Spa Journey package at Second Wind Day Spa in Palmdale to celebrate my birthday. The package includes two hours of spa treatments for $250. However, my massage lasted only 45 minutes, and when I reviewed the individual pricing afterward, I noticed that the massage was listed at $105 and the facial at $125--totaling $230. Essentially, I paid more for the package and received less time than advertised. Before leaving, I scheduled another service for Mother's Day, but after reviewing the pricing and realizing the discrepancy, I called back to cancel. I explained that I had been overcharged and didn't receive the full 60-minute massage. Unfortunately, they didn't offer any form of credit or resolution. read more

Anniversary gone wrong. Signed up for the couples package plus extra facials a couple of weeks in advance. We didn't receive what we scheduled and ended up missing 3 treatments and spent the majority if out time there separated when we were supposed to be together. Then since I highlighted all the issues they adjusted the bill to pay for what we did receive they tried to pull one over on me and tell me that was a discount. That was no discount that was correcting the issue, it was not till I called them out for claiming the bill adjustment was a discount that they threw a discount on the bill for their screw ups. I would not have been so disappointed with the outcome if they didnt try and sell me on fixing the price to reflect what services was a discount that's not honest. I went in last week and received a facial from EVA, the facial itself was pretty relaxing and she is very sweet and knowledgeable, she explained every step on products she was using and the importance of it as well. She also recommended some products I should get for the skin damage I currently am experiencing so all in all a great experience. I booked the hour massage at $100 as it was 20% off. I went in and had a consultation with the aesthetician who was fabulous. However, even though they claim to have sensitive products, I was unable to use most of the products they carried. Overall, the facial lasted approximately 40 minutes and during that time, I just had extractions a simple mask and another product then moisturizer and we just chatted. I was highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the service. I could've done it at home. After speaking with the front desk, they gave me a slight discount, but said the manager was not in and they needed to talk to her tomorrow morning to see what else could be done. read more

Not going to lie, I was very disappointed for the amount of money I paid, to not have my requested services met. First off, I paid $250 for the rejuvenation package requesting a deep tissue massage and an exfoliating treatment that was citrus. During my exfoliation body scrub my message therapist, Jackie did not communicate nor collaborate with me on what fragrance I would prefer and she selected her own desired preference of coffee. I personally don't drink coffee and was looking forward to what I requested, which was a citrus scent. When I told the therapist, she just apologized and did not offer any way to accommodate for her error. Second off, I requested an add on aroma therapy to be lemon grass or lemon scented during my massage, I noticed I did not smell anything to awaken my senses; as again requested and when I asked my therapist she had to leave the room, taking away time from my massage and go frantically look for aromatherapy that was lemon scented.
