Went in for wax - have had them done before here. They gave me a new girl without telling me, she waxed over the same area incorrectly more than once and had to have another team member come complete the wax. They obviously did something wrong bc my arms are red like they look burnt. Asked my new wax place and she said they did something wrong and I should ask for a refund. But I'm so done dealing with this place I'll just never come back. Went here for over a year, it just got consistently worse each time. There front desk ppl also always annoyingly ask if you want to tip, like you didn't just tip ur girl in cash in the room, or my fav when they did such a terrible job there's no way your leaving a tip or ever seeing they wax girl again, like umm no and don't ever schedule me with her again lol. I have been going to European wax for a while in WI and moved to Texas recently. I started going to Hailey at the Rockwall location. She is excellent! She does a through job getting all hairs off along with addressing any issues you may have with ingrown hairs! She offers products but isn't pushy so you fell what she is offering are products needed! I have added on services because of the care she gives! You can't go wrong with her! read more

Alright y'all, let's face it. These things are awkward no matter what and they're not glamorous lol i went in a few weeks ago for my first time (I've had no time to leave feedback) for a FULL body wax. I was told I had to leave a few services behind because of the amount time it was going to take. Basically saying they'd be closed by time the tech was done. So I settled and I was like alright just get the important things done, no big deal. OK BUT LET ME BRAG ABOUT THIS GIRL. My girl Nicole (if I remember correctly) was the BOMB! She knocked it out SO fast, i was able to get all the services done. She was fast, super friendly, and sweet. If I could've tipped more I definitely would've. Will be going back soon :) read more

Come here due the fact the they will do men and women. They have one tech that will do private men wax. Very professional place to come. Group-On usually has coupons. They will take the time to discuss the packages available so you know cost up front. Very clean facility. Team is very friendly and they will hold a good conversation with you during the treatment if you desire. Have been several times. Appointments is highly recommended for anyone but more especially men. Parking can be an issue Thursday and Friday for some reason. Plenty of products to help after waxing. The treatment last much longer than shaving. These are professionals at this center, treat them as such. They are a great team and I respect them greatl I will continue to come here. The only place for men to come and be comfortable and have legs and other areas waxed right. Hana is the best here. I think this European Wax Center is by far my favorite location. I consistently book with Abby, because she is an absolutely amazing waxer! I've been going to various waxing locations all over the East coast before I moved to Rockwall, this is my eighth wax studio, and third European Wax Center. I'd always have issues with the employees leaving bits of wax on me at other locations or I'd end up with mismatched eyebrows, or chunks of hair that hadn't been removed. Abby is consistent, and great at her job, and after almost fifty visits to her, hasn't once messed up a thing! It's nice feeling confident walking into a place like this, that you're going to come out looking good enough that you don't have to shower before going to lunch or returning to work. Nice place to do something for yourself. They offer a free first trial (limited to just basic waxes, eyebrows etc) but a nice bonus. When I was there, they were busy but greatly me promptly and I waited just a minute two for the aesthetician to arrive. Clean, private, well appointed rooms. I would recommend. read more

The front office staff have always been nice, asked about my day, and been quick to greet / welcome me. I've been to almost all of their esthetician's, and don't have a bad word to say about any of them. Everyone in that location is friendly, considerate, and helpful. Evelyn was great! This was my first time doing a Brazilian wax and she informed me of everything I needed to know. The pain was a 4/10. Very do-able! I am prone to ingrown hairs and she recommended a serum to help with that. I'm excited to no longer be embarrassed about my hair! My first time at European Wax Center. I've been waxed only once before. Abby was my specialist and she was awesome!! Very informative on everything she was doing. As we proceeded through the appointment she continuously asked if I was doing okay, I really liked that. Any question I had she answered and answered honestly instead of giving me a sales pitch. I dislike when someone tries to goad you into buying useless products. I will most definitely be coming back to see Abby. I've never had a wax before but I decided to give this place a try. Taylor Boyd was AMAZING! Super friendly and she really makes you feel at ease. Made a appointment for a Brazilian and didn't end up having it done. The wax pots are dirty. Wax was burnt onto the pots. That is an absolute no no and should not be accepted by any client. Also, they did not have a variety of waxes (soft, hard and inbetween) to get the job done. The waiting room appearance looks nice. I also learned the waxer does not leave the room for you to get undressed. Maybe that is the "European" experience? read more

Today is my wedding day and I will be using a $30 brow kit to fix my bald spots and uneven brows thanks to this place. I said "I love my thick brows and natural arch. I hate thin brows. Please only clean edges." I left with two small slits with no arch and anorexic brows. She had to redu because one side was higher than the other after that! I left there in tears. I've had two really bad waxing experiences, and this was one of them. Calling to make an appointment -seemed- easy, but when I got there, the woman that made the appointment butchered all of my information. Basically the only thing that was correct was that I requested a Brazilian wax. When the waxing began, I immediately knew that it was going to be a bad experience. I've had many Brazilians - none of them were horrible. This one influenced me to consider suicide. The technician used HARD wax, and it took her almost an hour to wax everything. The pain was unbelievable, I was bleeding, and she missed fairly large patches of hair. I have never had any kind of issue like this with any other Brazilian. They have never taken over 20 to 30 minutes, I've never left a place bleeding, and no other technicians have missed large patches of hair. I ended up having to wait several days for the swelling to go down and wax all of the patches that she missed myself. There were so many that I basically had to re-wax everything. The only reason that I chose to come here was because it's close to where I worked at the time, and I had a coupon. Apparently that was the wrong decision. read more

Love that I was able to make an appointment online since early morning/late night is generally when I remember "oh crap, I need to schedule a wax". Morgan was great, worked quickly and with none of the awkwardness that certain hiiiiiighly personal grooming sessions can have. They have several pre-pay plans that result in quite the discount, so I took advantage of that. Their 3-step system of pre- and post- wax skin care was also helpful, but is expensive to buy. Minus one star only because I don't love it when they stay in the room while you undress, and the skin care was great for avoiding the immediate white bumps that can pop up a day or two after waxing, but I did wind up with more ingrown hairs than normal. Definitely worth a visit though, and still has much better reviews than any other place here that offers "more than just eyebrows" waxes ;) read more

Front desk staff is nice, but seems like the turnover rate on the front desk is high because there is always someone new when I go there. I had a great experience with Rosa. She's done my eyebrows, lip, and a brazilian. She was very professional and very easy to work with. I love the wax they use because it doesn't leave the skin under my eyebrows super red like it does at other places. I can actually go out right after it's done. At other places, I'd have to stay home the rest of the day because my skin was so red. There is one thing people might like to know, they have you undress while they are still in the room for a brazilian. It really wasn't a big deal, but most places don't do that. It typically only takes about 15 minutes for any of the techs to give me a full Brazilian wax. They are always super friendly and professional. The building is very clean and nicely decorated. Awful! I grew out my brows for 4 months to reshape them and in 4 quick minutes it was all ruined!! I even showed the tech two pictures of brows to use as examples of what I wanted. We talked about how I have full brows and how thats in style now... My eyebrows are uneven, crooked, strange looking, hacked at w scissors. They look like they've been shaved! I had to try not to cry as I was leaving the tip. I keep asking myself, "Why did I even tip!?!". I was just trying to hurry and get to the car so I could cry in private. Now I have to spend money to buy some brow shaping goo, that I wouldn't normally need, to fix my face. I look awful. And to top it all off, my eyes are completely swollen. read more
