Mary Jo is very genuine, friendly, and accommodating. I've been coming for a few months and I've been very happy with my service. I would recommend her to a friend! Pros: Great service- she's friendly, quick, and leaves the waxed area hairless! Great prices- the best I've been able to find for hard wax. Other places with soft wax are no where near as thorough, so this is the best deal in Garland/Plano/ Richardson area that I know of! Con: Sometimes she's a few minutes late or will reschedule your appointment; that's ok with me because I've had to reschedule too! So it's up to you if that's deal breaker for you. read more

I got my Brazilian and full leg waxed here by Mary Jo. I haven't shaved my legs in MONTHS so that I could achieve a very smooth after result and I ended up leaving with prickly legs and patches of hair leftover. Imagine you shave your legs and then wait 3 days and it's prickly all over: that's how my legs feel. I'm extremely disappointed because I have to book an appointment at another waxing studio to go over both of my legs so that I can achieve the initial desired result. If I didn't, I'd have to shave all over which COMPLETELY defeats the point of why I got waxed! So, I just called to voice my complaints about the poor quality to which she responds that she doesn't offer refunds but only another opportunity to get it redone by her. Apparently, it's states that on her website so my mistake for not checking that myself but I don't understand why I would want to get it redone by her if she cannot do it successfully the first time. Originally during the appointment, she told me that I might have some prickles because I didn't wait long enough, which I know is not true because my leg hair is definitely long enough and all on the same cycle. So, during our call I told her I know that is definitely not true because I have gotten them waxed before and they were PERFECTLY smooth. She then switches and says that she never said that it was because I didn't wait long enough and then rambles on about how it's all about the leg hair being on the "3 cycles of __,___, and __". Sooooo, why are there patches of hair still on my legs then? I appreciate her offering to redo it but it's come to a point where I don't trust her level of expertise in her own profession. I am so upset about this experience and I would never ever go back to her. I would compare this to a friend you paid $20 for a do-it-at-home wax. Other notable complaints: -Girl needs to take out her trash. If you run a business where you have to throw out wax/sticks/etc into a trash can, that trash can should not be stuffed so full that the lid can't even shut and wax is hanging out. Unprofessional and unhygienic. -When she puts wax on the stick, she has strings of wax hanging off. Which is fine, but she goes so fast, as if she's in a rush, that she doesn't take the time to wind the wax around the stick so she has strings and strings of wet wax slinging around getting on anything in the area. -She doesn't clear the dry wax off of your body so expect to sit there for a couple of minutes picking it off yourself.
